They were wonderful to work with, from start to finish. Mr Giles came promptly to give an estimate. Mrs Giles followed up by phone and I communicated by email to make the appointment. One section had to be fixed in their shop before installation and the other was welded on site. The results were better than expected--this is as good as new. We are beyond pleased!

Reliable Rails is fast and responsive. The were friendly, on-time, did great work, and and overall a huge value. I had one concern after the work was completed regarding paint colors matching which they resolved quickly, professionally, and with a smile. I would recommend this company to anyone.

A friend recommended them, I checked Angie' list and then called them. They came out, gave us an estimate and said they had about a 3 weeks backlog. I called them at the 3 week mark, and they said the new rails were ready and they came out, repaired the rails in back in back and put new railings in front. We could not be more satisfied and I would whole heartily recommend them to everyone! If we need any similar work done we will call them immediately.

Reliable Rails responded promptly to my first phone call and came out to the house that week to look at the job and give me an estimate. The completed new sections and reinstalled gate are perfect. All of my dealings with Lawrence and Bina were great. They are professionals and the workmanship on the new railings is very good. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Reliable Rails responded quickly to my request for an estimate after another company had kept me waiting 10 days. Their estimate was reasonable, but I needed the work completed sooner than they could promise it. They agreed to try, but with no guarantee. To my surprise and relief, they showed up to do the job nearly a week before my deadline. The work was done well, and the resulting railing looks essentially new. The railing is secure and looks great. My only suggestion is that they should do a better job of cleaning up the job site. Grinding and sanding rusted iron is messy. They did not vacuum up the debris, but blew it off the stairs with a leaf blower. I had a lot to clean up after they left. They did tape plastic sheets over windows and doors to protect them from the sanding dust, and that helped a lot. They met my needs with their prompt service and quality work. I would definitely use their services again.

Lawrence was friendly and professional. He visited the house, measured the areas, and had the rails made and installed in two days. Everything was done in a timely manner and the rails look fantastic!

I am extremely satisfied with the rails that Reliable Rails installed. I was a bit apprehensive as I requested that they match the rails around a balcony on my home, especially as the home is nearly 50 years old. When Lawrence came out and measured I didn't see that he took any photos so I wasn't sure they would match. I was worried for no reason, he did a fantastic job and the railings match perfectly, they look like they have always been there and really give the house a great look.

Lawrence and Bina Giles made a good impression from the beginning. I had the view that the rails should be removed, then re-installed after prepping, priming, and painting. Lawrence explained to me why I shouldn't do that, and, in retrospect, I believe he was correct. The work was done quickly and well. I will note that there was a small hiccup in the process. Due to a communication lapse between Lawrence and his crew, I was prematurely informed that the job had been completed . When I spoke to Lawrence about the issue, he immediately assured me that he would make sure that everything was done and done properly. I had no doubt that he would make good on that promise, and he did. We're very happy with the work and would use Reliable Rails again.

I cannot thank Bina and Lawrence of Reliable Rails enough, especially with the incredibly fast service. I?m in awe with the new beautiful wrought iron railing that was installed today. When I purchased my home, it appeared someone had removed the original railing from the bottom of the stairway. Phil had a stroke at 47 years old, has mobility issues and is a fall risk. I noticed pretty quickly that we really needed a handrail for him. His aid and I used to have to hold him from behind for those few steps or he would try to reach over those four steps to grasp the railing. It was a dangerous situation. I checked with local hardware stores and this is not a stock item, and my handyman kept putting off the project. We were pretty anxious for solution. I found Reliable Rails and gave them a call with my dilemma. Bina immediately called her husband, who came over within an hour to measure! Same day service? I was shocked, but he assured us that he could get this custom made (I had asked for a specific design), delivered and installed two days later. He called the next day to let me know it was completed and I asked if it could be painted white. I knew it was a last minute change, but his team did it and it looks wonderful! By 7 AM this morning, his installers came, setting it up quickly. They were very pleasant and professional. This railing really adds character to the front hallway. Phil was so happy see it also and I have peace of mind that he can now get safely down the stairs. I've told several of my coworkers and will definitely use them again in the future. Very grateful for Reliable Rails.

Our wrought iron fence, 3 gates, and decorative porch columns are 50+ years old and were in terrible shape. They needed to be cleaned and painted. One fence needed to be welded where it had broken. The 2 staff worked for two days, very carefully and diligently. They sanded off the old paint, primed and painted the wrought iron, adjusted all the fence latches so that they actually now work. They welded the broken gate. It was a big job requiring a lot of detailed work. They protected the brick and wood on the house with paper, cloth, tape, and plastic sheets so that no paint landed where it shouldn't. They cleaned up afterward. I was very pleased.

Everything about this transactions was great. Contacted them on Thursday, received an estimate for the work on Friday, and they were at the house first thing on Monday morning to complete the work. They replaced the post, painted it to match and cleaned up the mess. Will definitely use them again.

I found him a year before and we corresponded, and finally in December we had a chance to go to his shop. He recommended a specialized color, and he was fantastic and never missed a beat. The railing was installed and I love it.

As a consumer in Virginia I need to share the below information with other consumers regarding the performance of the below listed contractors most of who are listed with Angies List. I contacted these contractors regarding building a carport for my driveway. All of them?except Custom Ornamental Iron(not on Angies List) came to my house and said they would send a bid for the project shortly. Ornamental told me they would come by three times?never did. After 3?7 days I contacted each of them and they each said again they would "get back with me." Not one of them returned any subsequent phone messages or e-mails. I find this type of business dealings to be unprofessional, rude and a sad example of these men?s profession! Unfortunately, it appears this type of attitude and performance is common throughout their industry. I seek effective and timely communication and competency with all people and find those who ignore these principles to possess standards in other areas that mirror these shortcomings. My purpose here is to share with members of this social network my experiences and let each decide who they will contact to perform this kind of work?welding, masonry, carpentry and electrical duties?in your future endeavors. They are one of the few places in the area that does it. They were excellent. Someone came out and explained everything. Then he told us when the pieces came in and then they installed them.

Owners Leonard and Bina provided excellent, personal service in setting up the work. The crew was prompt, professional, and did a really outstanding job. The new railing looks great and is firm and stable. I originally tried to get this work done under Fairfax County's program for the elderly ( a program I did not even know about until Miss Bina gave me the information!!). When Mr. Leonard and Miss Bina learned that I was an Air Force veteran and disabled, they provided this service at no charge to me whatsoever. I cannot express enough appreciation for their gesture and their work. It is really rare and a gratifying privelege to find firms and people like this in today's world. What goes around, comes around and Reliable Rails just earned some serious karma. You CANNOT go wrong with Reliable Rails!!!
