I called the company and spoke with Ms. Bina, who was very pleasant and personable. She was prompt and schedule an appointment within 2 days. The owner. Mr. Lawerence, came and assessed the work. He offered his professional opinion and suggested different options that I hadn't thought of. Once we agreed on the work, I was placed on the schedule. But due to the rain, the work was rescheduled. However, once the threat of rain was over, I was promptly placed first on the schedule. The work was professionally done, completed on time, and all my expectations met. I would highly recommend this company... my neighbors have already contracted his services. Thanks, Kent

I consulted Angie's List and selected Reliable Rails. The representative made an appointment to visit and make an assessment. He was quite punctual, which I appreciated. He took measurements and made recommendations as we walked around the yard. When we went inside, we talked about the types of materials that would be most appropriate and cost effective, patiently answering my questions and clearly explaining the pros and cons involved. A few hours later, I received an e-mail describing the costs of the various types of materials and configurations. I made my selections and telephoned the company. We set up two installation dates, since I was having new sliding glass doors installed by another company. I was apprehensive about security, so Reliable Rails suggested that the window grates be installed as soon as possible, and that the the door grates be installed as soon as the glass doors were installed. Reliable Rails called to tell me at what exact time to expect the workers--6:30 a.m., I think. (They did that so they would not have to ring the door bell and awaken me.) However, at the due time, I was anxiously looking out my front windows, but I didn't see them. After about 10 minutes, I called the company. The representative said, "Are you sure the workers haven't arrived, Mrs. Lyles? They should be in your back yard." I quickly went to a rear-facing window. There they were, busily sizing the grate for the door! Apparently, they had arrived right on time! Reliable Rails lives up to its name. I was extremely impressed by their professionalism, friendliness, and workmanship. It's a great organization.

My first thought when I filled this out: "Is there an A+?" Bina schedule Lawrence to come out for an estimate the morning after I called. Each time we spoke, she had me in stiches: she's lovely to talk with! Lawrence was prompt, professional, and super-friendly. Bina sent the estimate by email that evening. Our family had some budget restrictions, and they were happy to work with us and make the project something we could afford to do now. That is an extra-big relief: this is a safety railing, since we have steep front steps. I had been worried about my mother and our neighbor using those stairs. From the time we accepted the estimate, it was about 2.5 weeks to installation. Lawrence was able to install the railing while we were away from home, too -- it was such a great surprise to come home and find it there yesterday. The work is beautifully fabricated, installed securely, and both looks & functions wonderfully. I'm so pleased!

They have been polite and pleasant, and I've been happy with them so far. The woman in the office called back promptly with an estimate, and she sent me the letters right away through email.

Reliable Rails installed a wrought iron hand rail on our front door steps and also installed a hand rail from the 1st to 2nd floor. The service was excellent from the first phone call through completion of the work. When the installation date was set, they started and completed installation in less than 2 hours. I thought the cost was very reasonable and I would definitely recommend their services.

I had made arrangements for another vendor to do the work. The day before, the other vendor indicated that he could not be at my house to remove the bars before the window installers arrived. I scrambled on a Sunday and talked to Reliable Rails. Through the conversation, I was offered several alternatives of how the work could be done and what it would cost. Reliable Rails arrived when they said they would. They got the work done and returned the same day to reinstall the bars.

This was an excellent experience. Mr. Giles called me promptly to ask me about my issue. He showed up that same day to inspect the rail and provide an estimate. The estimate was reasonable, so I asked him to perform the repair. He repaired the rail two days later by replacing the damaged section of wrought iron. The weld was so seamless that I couldn't detect where he made the repair.

The company representative scheduled an estimator who came to take measurements within 2 days of my request. An estimate was provided within 24 hours. Although I did not proceed with the replacement I was favorably pleased with the quick response and competitive estimate provided. I would consider them in the future .

We chose Reliable Rails based on the excellent Angie's List reviews - and we weren't disappointed. We had several companies give us estimates and they were all within $100 of each other. Since price was comparable, we went with Reliable Rails because of their reviews on Angie's List and the reasonable timeline for the work. All of our interactions with Reliable Rails were friendly and professional. I had several email exchanges with Bina and she was always very responsive, which I appreciate. The work was done on schedule and installation quickly followed. The railings look great and we've been very happy with them. I'd highly recommend them!

Selected Reliable Rails after reviewing customer reviews of their work. I also contacted they and they came by my home within two days to provided a written estimate. The estimate was acceptable and based upon their estimae and customer reviews another homeowner a few doors down also hired them to do repair work on their hand rails. Their price of their work was reasonable and worth the money spent. I highly recommended them to serveral other persons who were seeking to have their hand rails repaired. I would use them in the future again.

Good job, prompt, quality product, good price

Due to a chronic illness/disability I had to have a concrete ramp installed from my driveway to my door. Could have save money by putting in a pipe rail but due to to the length of the railing my wife and I felt we needed something that looked better. We decided on wrought iron and Reliable Rails as the contractor They did a great job on schedule.

Working with Reliable Rails was super easy. I sent them photos via email of my rusted out railing that had become detached from my townhouse's concrete front steps. From the photos, they were able to give me an estimate that seemed reasonable to me and because of the company's excellent reviews here, I didn't see a need to obtain additional estimates. They had obviously dealt with rusted-out railings a lot and they knew exactly what needed to be done. Per their instructions, I left the railing in the back yard and they came during the day when I was at work. I came home to find my railing with a fresh coat of paint and it was reattached. The railing is very sturdy and they did a great job. They sent me an electronic invoice, which I paid by credit card. I would highly recommend them for railing repair.

Reliable Rails did an overall outstanding job on creating and installing the handrails that I needed. I emailed the company photos and measurements for the landing and steps where I wanted the handrails installed. Within one day, Reliable Rails provided a quote for the job by email. Their price fell in the middle of the quotes from other Angie's List iron companies that I contacted. Reliable Rails did a site visit to confirm my measurements. I confirmed the style of the handrail that I wanted from photos on the company's website. It took approximately 1 week for Reliable Rails to make the rails. The crew showed up on time for the installation and completed the job within the estimated time frame that morning. The price included painting the handrails black, which the company did at its factory and touched up after the installation. After the installation, I thought that the handrail on one side of the steps left a little too much space between the handrail and the building for child safety. The landing is slightly different lengths on the two sides. On the installation day, I offered to pay the balance due because I considered the additional piece such a minor part of the job. Reliable Rails, however, did not want to process the payment until I was completely satisfied with the job. Reliable Rails came back a few days later to add a piece between the handrail and the building. The piece look like it had been added at the factory, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it blended with the rest of the handrail.

The process of repairing and installing the repaired rails went smoothly. The crew was careful not to damage the new stone walkway and stairs that had just been installed. One workman welded new iron onto the posts while a second workman drilled holes into the stone steps and landing. They set the rail posts in the holes and filled the holes with epoxy. They cleaned up the job site and advised me on how long it would be until the rails were fully set.

From start to finish it went well. Good estimate. Prompt delivery . Excellent product installed professionally. Very satisfied with all the Employees we dealt with.

I contacted reliable rails by email to set up an appointment for an estimate for window well grate, hand rails and a Juliet balcony. He called when a downtown traffic jam caused a delayed arrival and, when he arrived, he was very professional. Within a day or two after, he emailed an estimate that was very reasonable. I ended up putting the job off until spring, but will definitely contact reliable rails when i am ready to get the work done.

Very efficient and easy. They were on time to provide an estimate; were friendly and professional; and the work was completed as scheduled and on time. The old iron fence in front of my rowhouse had seen better days, so I wanted to have it replaced. Reliable Rails came out to take a look and and said that they could build and install a fence that matched the pattern and design of my neighbor's fence. I would use them again.

I called Reliable Rails upon referral from another local company. The owner came out expeditiously. He evaluated my project, took measurements. The office called me with the estimate. I asked them to proceed with the project. However, I did not follow-up with the deposit. A couple of days later, I received a call from the office asking for the deposit. I paid over the phone. My install was scheduled for the next day. The installers came out the next morning and completed the project within an hour and a half. This was a great experience! Excellent customer service! I received many compliments on the workmanship!

I needed two posts replaced on my front railing. They came out to the house within a couple of days to provide an estimate. The estimate was emailed to me within 24 hours. The work was completed on time and with good quality. Payment was done on line through their website. Overall a good experience.

I contacted them before our front steps were finished, they came and did a preliminary measurement and sent a preliminary bid. After the steps were finished the owner came out on a Sunday to do the final measurement and discussion options for the railings. The work was done two days later and we couldn't be more pleased. The railings were installed a week later. The crew was great and finished in about 2 hours. They washed the area down and left it spotless. The railings look great and look like they came with the house. Bina and Lawrence were great to work with. I appreciate the speed with which they responded to my needs. I strongly recommend them and would give them an A+ if it was on the scale.

Lawrence came out in May to give me an estimate very promptly after it was requested, and although I didn't follow up with them until October, they cheerfully honored the original estimate and finished the job less than a week after I finally called them. Bina was always very pleasant and helpful on the phone, and the railings look great!
