Description of Work: Performed troubleshooting on wall oven and followed up with a next day phone call, after their as promised attempt to find obsolete part. While the "fix" effort was ultimately unsuccessful, serviceman John's attempts and the owner's follow-up were much appreciated.

Description of Work: We had an awful experience. I was told a repair man would be by Friday morning, so I stayed home from work. I called at 11am and was told that someone couldn't come until "at least after 4pm." I called my wife and asked if she could come home early since I had already wasted half a day. When she arrived at 4pm, she found a note on our door that someone had been by at 2pm. When she called asking if someone could return, as our freezer was leaking, she was told that the repair man was done for the day and that this "wasn't his problem. " No apology, no promise to make it better. These guys sbould be avoided at all costs.

+ -1 moreGarage refrigerator was accumulating ice at the base of the interior freezer compartment (side-by-side). Technician knew exactly what needed to be done with this basic description of problem model. Very knowledgeable with all brands - probably has worked on most of them. After the repair, while writing up the ticket, he commented (and I took the opportunity to ask) about all my other appliances. I have performed some minor repairs on various appliances so I am somewhat familiar with certain issues, and he was more than happy to discuss and give helpful hints and tips. I also discovered later that this technician worked on the same refrigerator back in 2000 and is with the same family owned company. He truly knows his stuff when it comes to appliances. I am extremely picky and I would recommend him and the company at any price. The fact that they are so reasonably priced (labor - they have no control over parts) is the icing on the cake.
Description of Work: Defrost tube of side-by-side refrigerator clogged - manually defrosted and cleaned out drain tube from within freezer compartment.

+ -1 moreIt went extremely well. He was prompt to the minute! He did his work quickly, and he was courteous to my teenage daughter let him in (I was on the way home). He also did not complain about the older model dishwasher (which is more awkward to repair than newer models).
Description of Work: The Fisher & Paykel dishwasher was not draining (this is a two drawer washer and neither drawerwas draining). Mr. Malina cleaned the drain and checked his work. He also made two recommendations that only a plumber can do -- he pointed out that the ring on the drain for the sink was cracked and should be replaced; and he suggested that the dishwasher drain into the disposal instead of directly into the drain line for the sink. He said that would prevent future problems.
