Prospect Hardwood Flooring really came through when I needed my floors refinished quickly. Upon making the call, I spoke with Jodi who was very pleasant and scheduled an estimator to come out within a few days. Mike came out on a Saturday and within 20 minutes had assessed the situation and offered me an estimate on the spot. I was waiting on another estimate before committing (that company never called back) so on Monday I called to schedule the flooring work. They were available as early as that Wednesday which was fantastic because I was trying to get this done very quickly before we moved our furniture into the house. We scheduled the work for Saturday and the crew showed up on time and worked straight through for 12 hours to get the three rooms done. They were amazing and worked quietly and diligently to get the job completed which also included shoe molding in each room. They left the house looking spotless - you would not have known they had spent the entire day there except for the fact the floors look amazing! They took all the trash and old molding with them and vacuumed all the floors on their way out removing any dust or debris that traveled. Kudos to them as that was a long day and the crew did a really fantastic job. Jodi was also particularly helpful to me and spent plenty of time with me on the phone as I was worried about whether I had to get pets out of the house; she also explained where they would need to plug in the equipment, when the floors could be walked on, etc. I don't know how the price compares b/c I did not get any other estimates, but I am just disappointed I didn't have them do ALL the floors in the house because it really has made the bedrooms look amazing; the floors I thought were in good shape now look pretty shabby! Everyone I dealt with was very responsive, punctual, friendly and helpful from start to finish and I would recommend Prospect to others and will certainly use them again when the time comes to do more work on our floors.

We are very pleased with the work Prospect Hardwood Flooring did in our home. Mike and Jodi were very responsive to our initial inquiries for a quote on the project. Their quote came in way less than another estimate we'd received from a contractor with whom we'd worked before. Given the timeline PHF gave us (4-5 days to complete the whole project), plus the good reviews we read online, we decided to go with them. We were on a tight deadline to get the project completed by a certain date, and PHF was able to accommodate our schedule. We moved all the furniture out ourselves, but the crew helped us move an upright piano that was very heavy. The crew arrived between 9am-9:30am each day (Mon-Fri). My husband and I both work outside the house, so after my husband would let them into the house, the crew pretty much had the house to themselves the whole day. They were very reliable and courteous, worked rather late sanding/replacing the floors those first two nights (till about 8-9pm), and did a very good job of cleaning up before they left the house. The sanding process is not 100% dust-free, but they did a very good job of keeping it to a bare minimum. For the color test, we picked out 4 colors to test from the Minwax color palette; the crew accommodated our request to mix a few combinations of colors until we had the one we wanted (Jodi did advise us against trying out too many colors as it makes the decision harder; she wasn't kidding!). We decided on a Jacobean-Espresso mix. The crew did the staining on Day 3; when we inspected the work in the evening, we found a few places where the staining came out much lighter than others. We emailed Mike/Jodi and sent pictures that night and they responded first thing the next morning that they would have the crew check out our concerns. Sure enough the crew corrected the areas right away. Over the next two days, they applied 2 coatings of polyurethane. They also did touch up paint on the moldings and walls. On these last three days the crew was usually done by 3pm, so they would call my husband when they finished, so he could come home to lock the door after they left. Trying not to step on the floors till after 11pm (when we could be sure that the floors would be dry) was a bit of a challenge. The smell of polyurethane is also very strong. We'd decided to stay home through the whole process, but in hindsight it probably would have been a good idea to stay somewhere else on those last few days (my eyes did sting the first few nights). Mike came to inspect the work on Saturday and gave us some great advice on maintaining the floors. His crew also came in that morning and helped us move the piano and some of our heavier pieces of furniture. Overall, we couldn't be happier with how the project turned out. We would definitely hire PHF again if we have any flooring projects, and gladly recommend them to our family, friends, and neighbors!

Great job. The project manager was terrific and stopped by to inspect and keep things on track. The crew worked long and hard to get everything done on time. Made a big difference in the look of the whole interior.

Absolutely fantastic group, from start to finish. I've now used them for three major projects in my home, including the installation of wood floor in my master suite, the total refinish of all my first floor wood floors, and the installation of a laminate wood product in my basement. Mike, Jodi, and the entire team are super communicative, professional, and honest. Their crews complete the jobs ahead of schedule, and are clean and organized. Very fair prices. Couldn't recommend Prospect more highly.

Wonderful! Prospect did a great job removing the carpet and installing the new wood floors. It made such a big change in our home and we love our new floors. They look great and are very easy to keep clean. Would use them again for future jobs.

From the first contact with Prospect Hardwood Flooring, we had an initial meeting set up. Mike Blot was very helpful and efficient in describing what he thought would work for us. On the day of installation, we were extremely impressed with the installers and their attention to detail, not only with the work but also with the cleanup afterward, definitely a nice surprise. Prospect Hardwood Flooring was amazing from day one. We first contacted them back in the fall of 2016. Mike was super friendly and listened to our wants and concerns. After reviewing the product samples, we instantly knew which flooring product we wanted and the price was within our budget. No matter how many more samples and other companies we looked at, Prospect still came out on top. We didn't have the job completed until this month due to needing to get some other renovations done prior to these floors. We kept in contact with Jodi, in the office, pretty regularly to keep the lines of communication open and communicate our desire to still have Prospect complete the work. Jodi was fabulous! Finally, in late March, we were ready to move forward. The wood flooring was delivered on schedule and had to acclimate to our house for several days. (note, no other company suggested the acclimation time period) Installation day arrived and the crew was terrific! We were not home throughout most of the installation but we had no worries with the crew being in our house alone. They worked hard and with our approval, worked until 9pm each night. Very neat and professional. They finished one day earlier than projected! We are absolutely thrilled with our new floors. No more ugly carpet and damaged hardwoods. What a dramatic change to the interior of our house. We can't thank Prospect Hardwood Flooring enough for the outstanding job and product!!

I had a very large job with lots of details and a tight schedule. The staff at Prospect worked me on the various schedule changes I had and the floors came out amazing. I had several quotes from different companies. The price was very fair and after seeing the work done. I am very pleased with the service and the work performed. Everyone who has seen the before and after can't believe the difference.

Customer service was top notch! The estimator, Mike, was prompt, friendly, and left me with an estimate in hand (unlike some other companies who provided estimates a few days after their visit). The day before the install my wife and I became very sick from food poisoning. We still hadn't moved furniture and accents from the work space. We reached out to Prospect and they were able to push the install date back by two days to allow us to recover and move our stuff. Jodi was my main POC and I really appreciated her checking back to see if we were feeling better. Their flexibility and understanding was very much appreciated. The installers did a great job! The floors and trim look amazing! I'm still beaming from the level of detail they put into the work. With the extra product they were able to finish my pantry, the landing in the basement stairwell, and my front hall closet! I am recommending Prospect Hardwood Flooring to my parents when they are ready to have their floors done and would recommend them to anyone looking for flooring work.

Prospect Hardwood did an outstanding job! The old hardwood floors were glued onto the concrete subfloor and had to be painstakingly removed. That took much work. However, they were able to complete the entire job within the original estimate of four days. They then came back and installed the shoe moulding after the painters put in the baseboards. I recommend them highly.

The entire process was seamless! From getting a quote to walking on my new floors was less than a 2 week process! The floors look brand new and I couldn't be happier! Even the floor we didn't refinish looks like it was just installed! I would recommend PHF to anyone!

We have been trying, since we moved into this house to find somebody to refinish the floors, and I just wasn?t impressed with anybody. They came out, the guy answered all my questions, very professional, very thorough. The first time I?ve had a company tell me they were going to do something and stick to the schedule. His pricing, their pricing is just unbelievable. We had several companies come out and not only did I not like their answers, but their prices were, I thought high. They came out and his crew was very professional. They were in and out of here in 4 days. I can?t say enough about the company. I am so impressed with their work.

The flooring looks beautiful. There was some finishing issues that Prospect Hardwood Flooring willingly and very quickly took charge of and resolved. Jodi was very excellant at keeping us posted on times for when crew would be arriving and leaving. Mike Blot was very helpful and knowledgable - he educated us on the process, the different coats they would be applying and the whys of what they do and also provided us with tips moving forward.

The floors look amazing! We chose this provider over a less expensive estimate because the owner obviously had experience with parquet. We are delighted with the results. The gleaming floors were a major factor in getting multiple offers and selling our house over the asking price.
