Description of Work: Check up on two separate AC systems. Purchased one tune-up discount and one troubleshooting discount on Angies list. Not overly impressed. Service tech that came out only does the basics. Maintenance includes hooking up gages and checking pressure, current, and freon temp. Troubleshooting coupon --- just like the maintenance check --- just the basics. Anything more is extra $$$. I had a massive freon leak due to siding working putting a nail in the line. Tech did not have nitrogen to pressure check the system. Even if he did it would have cost me about $300 more to do that test. I suspected when he told me I had no freon that it had something to do with the siding contractors. Instead of having him charge me for extra, I called back the siding folks. In short if you purchase the troubleshooting coupon be prepared for extra $$$ beyond the basic maintenance ticket.

Description of Work: I suspected my AC coils were leaking. I called Preferred to recharge refrigerant. Silvio inspected AC and confirmed leak at no additional charge. He provided me with several different solutions with quotes. I ended up just recharging for the time being. I would use Preferred again in future.

We have some broken links on our website that need to be corrected. We are in the process of finding someone to handle this for us on a permanent basis.
