They were good. They have been out for one service call. Everything was good with them. He came out and solved the problem quickly and easily. He saved us money because we thought that it was going to be a bigger problem. I would them again.

I am very pleased by the service provided by Preferred Heating & Cooling LLC. The technician (David) from this company arrived on schedule. He was very courteous and explained me all tasks to be performed. Although I was recommended with certain product for a worry-free maintenance in future there was no pressure to buy it. Overall, the tasks were performed to our satisfaction. We will hire them again if needed.

Called company and they were able to come out next day to provide service using an AL coupon. I was very pleased w/ that! The gentleman that came was very courteous and explained certain things and recommended other things, but no high pressure, just recommendations that I already suspected. He even changed a light bulb in my attic and notified me the electrical up there was not working. After that service, I booked another for my heating in the fall. Seems to be a good company. This company caught my eye, because of the coupon, but also had just seen their truck on the road w/ the nice company logo/mural and caught my attention when I saw the coupon and thought I'd give them a try. In my last home, a town home, a very popular local company we had a contract / for 19 yrs. kept insisting we needed all kinds of upgrades. Afterwards, we felt that company gave us products we did not need, and did not need so soon, so we did not want to use them again. I think we'll keep this company.

It went well, just was asked to buy another deal to give service to the other unit, but owner of the company didn't inform his employee that the other unit was going to be serviced for free. That's why the reason of the refund.

Arrived on schedule and performed the work in a professional manner. Gave me the options and recommended replacing the unit.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. They were great. They were on time and the gentleman was very helpful. He was very polite. We haven't had any issues since. They did the work the same day we called. We paid around $500 so there was an additional charge. It went very smoothly. The contractor that came out to our house was extremely nice and very knowledgeable and very polite. He spoke English and I felt comfortable because I was home by myself.

Preferred Heating and Cooing were awesome! Bill Drake and Dave (the tech) came over and spent about 3 hours going over everything. Unfortunately this was a short sale property and the cost to replace the units was not something my client was willing to incur so he withdrew his offer on that unit. We found another and again had Preferred Heating and cooling run diagnostics on that unit. The tech was super, thorough, professional and explained everything that was needed. He quoted an upfront price range for the parts and work required and the seller (not a short sale this time) covered the repairs. I ONLY use Preferred Heating and Cooling. They don't try to sell you something you don't need, they don't upcharge you and they are always punctual! They are the definition of true customer service!!!!

Professional, honest and knowledgeable. Gave me great advice and answered all my questions. Will definitely use again in the future.

We couldn't have been happier. I called in the morning and the woman was friendly and professional. Within two hoursThe technician was here. Dave was friendly, professional and efficient. He explained everything he was checking, and identified the problem and fixed it. We feared we might need a new unit and were very relieved there were no major problems. We would absolutely use them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Serviceman called ahead, arrived on time, and provided professional service in every way. He was cheerful and helpful in offering thoughts about the condition of the A/C unit and the need to recharge refrigerant.

I called Preferred and someone was at my home within an hour. Richard was very thourough and professional. He showed me my gross air filter which hasn't been changed since I moved in a year ago, (my bad). This and low coolant was what was causing my system to work improperly. He said we needed to wait a day for the coils to thaw, there was ice all over it due to my dirty air filter. The next day Dave came, diagnosed everything within an hour and I was up and running. Completely professional. I will use them again and again.

Fantastic. I believe the service technician's name was David. He was delightful and knowledgeable.

It went very well. I called PH&C after the contractor send by my Home Warranty company told me I needed $2,300 in repairs that did not make sense. They checked out the system and it turns out the it did not need as much work as proposed. The eventual cost of repairs was about $400.00. The technicians that came up were courteous, knowledgeable and did what they said they were going to do. I am extremely pleased with results and would highly recommend this company.

So far so good. It is running well and have a 1 year warranty.

He showed me how dirty and clogged it was. He cleaned it up. I only wish he was a little more informative with his inspection. I had a different contractor (he was a mold inspector, not even an AC specialist) take a quick look at the AC unit about 10 days after the service. He made two minor recommendations that were very helpful and I wondered, "why didn't the AC guy tell me that."

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it went very well. I had sent an email to the company, congratulating them on their excellent perfomance. They came out the same day that I purchased the big deal. There were extra charges, because the big deal was for the service call, and I needed some parts, as it turned out once the service technician got here. It was a very hot day, and I called a couple of companies which were unable to respond on the same day, and I tried them, based on their Angie's List review, and I got a very nice response from the person who does the dispatching. She said she would get someone to get out here the same day. Indeed she did, and her name was Mellisa. She told me that the closest technician was over an hour away at that time, and he wasn't even there, he was on his way, and that she would keep me informed of his timetable and he could come out the same afternoon. She called at 3 in the afternoon, to say that he had just finished what he was doing, and he would be here in an hour. She gave me a bio of him on email, so we would know who was coming to our house when he arrived. She sent me a picture and the experience of the individual, and indeed he was the one who showed up here about an hour later. His name was David, and he was and extremely acommodating, helpful, service technician. He looked over the unit, and he could not find what would have caused the most recent problems, but he did find that the electrical contactor, that engages and disengages the pump was burnt from years of failures, and he replaced that, to make the unit more responsive and stronger. I agreed with that, he had one on the truck, he fixed the unit, and we haven't had any more problems. I think the price was the same as I would have paid anybody else to change the contactor. Mellisa had kept me informed throughout the afternoon.

The two-man team worked until 10:00 at night to complete the installation in a single day. Everything went very smoothly. Great company!

Professional, courteous, knowledgable. Second time I have used them. I called after hours and they called me back immediately. Fit me in the next morning at 7:30am. I purchased a Diagnostic Coupon online and that was all that I was charged...$49. Can't beat that price. Love that it's a small company too!

Our air conditioner stopped working in June and so we called. They came out fairly quickly. The gentleman who came out was very nice and said all we needed was more refrigerant. He also aided us in purchasing a coupon to make the visit less expensive. He was very nice and walked us through everything.

Service went well. He explained why the AC unit failed and provided options on how to have it fixed. The cost of the service except for the Freon install will be provided if I upgrade the AC unit within the yr. of serviwork provided. The unit is vairley old so we will probably take this offer before the yr is up.

Scheduling the appointment was easy and they were more than willing to accommodate the time requested. They called to ask if the service tech can come early since we were the first call on his list and are on his route to work. The technician came ahead of time but waited outside until the time window they gave us before ringing the doorbell ? shows that they care about customer?s expectations. The service technician, David, was courteous and very knowledgeable and he took the time to clearly explain the issues. A very pleasant experience.

It was a great experience with this company. They were exactly what I was looking for...small and personal, yet available almost immediately. I left a message in the morning and received a call back with an hour from Melissa. She was super friendly and helpful. She sent David out to our house within a few hours. David was very thorough with his work. He worked hard and long. He is was very honest about what we did and did not need fixing. Explained everything to us fully. Was more than fair on pricing. We are hiring them again for maintenance on both of our units. They are a great group of people at a small personal company. I couldn't have been happier with my experience.
