Description of Work: .Every time winter comes around, I think of My Plumber's Heating and Aiir- conditioning. A technician came out on 2/24/2011 because my house was cold and my electricity bill was high. I was told that I needed a new heat pump. I t cost me $6678.76. After installation the house was still cold and my electricity bill was still high. A technician came out. He told me the problem was the ducts . It would cost me $2600.00 Then, I complained to the corporate ofifce . I did not receive a reply. I called the local office. Around the end of 2012,The last technician that came out told me that it was not the ducts. I was told that the new pump is different from the old heat pump because the heat pump that they installed was more efficient . Asa result it did not heat as well as the old heat pump. My husband and I resolved the problem by closing the door in fhe family room and partially in thekitchen and use radiant heat.. We are senior citizens and on a fixed income.I do not want to pay more money. I do not know whether it is the ducts or the supposed efficency of the new heat pump.

Description of Work: I had them install a new heating an AC indoor and outdoor unit. The product is great (Amana) but it did take the installer a while to get it in. Probably because my previous system was so old and because he had to do a lot of improvising to get everything in and working properly. After installation and a few minor adjustments, the system has worked great thus far.

Description of Work: Saturday, Jan 17, 2012 "My Plumber" come to fix my toilet. They replace the tank insides and handle. I just use the toilet and it flooded my bathroom. This was the 3rd time they've been here to fix the same toilet. DO NOT USE: My Plumber (they do not list a address on anything. makes you wonder if they are license) unless you want to spend your time cleaning up the mess your left with and give up your time to wait for them to show.

Description of Work: my plumber installed a gas line for a kitchen stove. they pulled a permit and everything was supposed to be completed and a few months later we get a letter about the permit. Somehow they got the permits switched. We called them to have them take care of it, and they requested someone be home for the inspector to come back. the line is on the exterior of the house and we were not there for the original inspection. It took us pulling payment from the credit card company as without a completed permit the work is not done, to get my plumber to come out and get the permit straightened out. I will not use them again.

Description of Work: I needed a back-flow preventer (vacuum breaker) repaired on a hose bib at the rear of my house. The plumber was courteous enough, but he charged me $194 for about 4 minutes of work (that included the $30 coupon I had). It took longer for him to write up my bill and run my card than to do the actual repair. I have since gone to Lowe's and found the part for less than $10 and it just screws on. Lesson learned.

Description of Work: Came to property to give an estimate as to why the ejector pump in basement did not work. They said it was a tree root issue and would change the pit of the pump but the keep the old motor and wanted $5,000. They also wanted to redo the outside sewer line for $13,500. My regular plumber did the job on putting in a new ejector pump plus a new motor for $3,700 and sewer line was NOT an issue.
