Wanted service/repair of my water heater. Technician arrived on time, then proceeded to manufacture a leak that hasn’t dripped before or after him being in my house. He performed zero diagnostic work and jumped immediately to must be replaced. He quoted it more than triple the local average cost to replace. He then started to point out other false problems in an assumed attempt to run up the price or sell their subscription service. No thanks, run far and fast away from MyPlumber Plus.

My AC broke down and I purchased a mid level (but expensive unit) from My plumber plus. I was told that since I was going from a 4 ton to 5 ton unit they would need to install the outside unit on the ground vice the pedestal that the 4 ton was sitting on. I was also told that they would arrive the next day between 8am to 10am. I took off work to make the appointment. 10am came and went and I got no call, so I called them to see what happen and that is the time they told me my appointment got pushed to later in the afternoon and put more installers on the job to speed up the install. They didn't arrive until almost 4pm. I could have worked and not taken PTO if they would have been upfront with their scheduling. The install seemed rushed, the outside unit was installed on the pedestal that my 4 ton unit was sitting on, and the system worked for about an hour before it stopped working. During the time it was working the outside unit was making a weird noise. Since it was an hour after the install, all of the workers had left. I called the first thing the next day about the system and they said they would send the next available tech over. I took another PTO and again they arrived so late that I could have worked and came home before the installer came. Almost 4pm the tech comes, looks at the system and he thought the problem was with the thermostat so he leaves for an hour to get a new one, and it turns out the issue is not that, he leaves one more time without telling me, this time he is gone for two hours. When he arrives he comes back with nothing, so im guessing he went to get dinner. After another tech arrives the system is now cooling. It seemed to be a wiring issue. The next day I noticed the outside unit making a loud noise from time to time, I call my plumber plus and they said they will send somebody on Monday. I took video's and sent it to them. The tech called me Monday mid morning saying they think the compressor is making the noise and they put it on order. The part would arrive in 5 to 10 days. It took about 6 to 7 days. The next day after the install the unit was making the noise again. They installed some rubber padding but the issue is still there. They said that they could put the outside unit on the floor but they would charge me $1,500. Im not sure why are they charging me $1,500 for something they said they were going to be in the beginning. #myplumberplus

Timing is good. Work completed (not without some issues). That's what two gold stars are for. Other three stars that I didn't give go to management and billing of this company. Estimate does not match the bill. Amount paid for work that didn't fix the issue does not get applied towards the next (more expensive) solution despite that's what was promised in the beginning. A a lot of back and forth and not returned calls, a few silly lies, and a TON of my time trying to work it out with them... I decided that this is not worth it. My Plumber - Never Again!

I had MyPlumber install two Noritz tankless hot water heaters. Once installed, I had hot water and didn't think much of it. A little while later, I the control panel went dead. I called the company to see about getting a replacement. When checking out the issue, I noticed the second tankless heater wasn't even plugged in. There is no outlet to plug it into. So when the company did the installation, they tried to make an extra buck by not even installing it correctly. I asked the person who came out to check the control panel and he had electric come out. He said that it didn't matter that they didn't install it correctly, he would still charge me for the extra outlet installation, effectively charging me twice for this portion of the installation. This is complete bull. I don't know what kind of scam MyPlumber is pulling, but if you are thinking of using them, my advice is to run the other way.

The plumber came out and gave an estimate of $400 to replace the PVC pipe. I declined his work and he left. Called another plumber who was at my house for 20 minutes and replaced the pipe for $240.

My Plumber nightmare continues. Mistake allowing Issa Daahak into my home. Problem with master bathroom faucet not returning off. Minor repair per a YouTube video but I didn't have the tools. Issa forced me into installing a new faucet for almost $600. I showed him the YouTube video for the easy and less expensive repair but he refused. That night, the sink started leaking under the counter causing $356 damage to my neighbor in the unit below me. Issa mysteriously had a $1,000 toilet in his vehicle. He aggressively told me that he would sell it to me for $1,000. I refused. My unit had passed the leak inspection that morning and both my toilets were in great shape. I was in Portland, Oregon for work the next week when our lead engineer called me on Tuesday to let me know that the neighbor below had reported a wet spot on his ceiling and that the master bedroom toilet was seriously leaking. After an inspection, he said that someone (Issa) had intentionally damaged two parts. He proudly wrote his name on the copy of the coupon that he refused to use, telling me that he would be back tom"help" me again. Guessing that sleazy Issa was thinking I would take him up on his $1,000 toilet.

Really bad. Contract says you have to keep the service for a minimum of one year, "until" you give them written notice to terminate.. The plumber who signed me up guaranteed if I didn't like the service I could cancel if I provided written notice. Pointed to the clause in the contract which says you keep the service for one year "until" you provide written notice to terminate. He told me it would be no problem to terminate the contract any time I wanted.. When I tried to terminate the contract the billing office said it was a one year contract, you can cancel it with written notice but you still have to pay for one year. They slyly use the word "until" instead of "unless". The plumber was clear when we talked that I could cancel with two weeks notice without incurring further charges.. Anyway, this company is as crooked as they get.

Referred to My Plumber by an owner in another building. Dripping faucet and non-working guest shower. Part to fix the dripping was almost $250 and decided to just replace the old faucet. New faucet installed the same day and looks nice. Issa ordered the part needed to get the guest shower working. It was three days later when he returned (due to my needing to go into work), he had ordered the same part that the previous plumber, Gidders and Sons, had ordered the previous December. I always had hot and cold water. When Issa was done, there was no hot water. Not sure what Issa did, but he made the problem worse. I paid them in full, $1,054, the day the faucet was replaced, major, major mistake. Only a dishonest company insists on payment in full before the work is completed. Never, never pay for work not completed. Issa put the shower back together thinking it would be fun to only take cold showers. He used the previously purchased part to put the shower back together and took the newly purchased part ($358) with him when he left. The receipt that I received that night was $30 higher with no credit for the part that Issa removed after I had paid for it and did not need it. 3,000 miles away this week and maintenance at my condo called to let me know that there is a leak in my unit. Serious enough to get their attention and horrified as I will not be home until Friday night and they cannot find the key to my unit. Whatever damage is caused, it means praying that My Plumber will do the right thing and cover all the costs. Cannot believe that this company would scam and financially hurt a single female. They now have 100% of my money and left me with a mess that is most likely not only damaging my unit, but damaging the units beneath me.

I used to use them a few years ago. They give you a window of time for their visit. However, rarely did they ever meet that window. I decided to give them another shot today and same thing. Calls from the home office that their technicians are delayed on another project. Apparently they do not have the ability to handle workflow issues as they arise. No bench strength. I’m done taking time off waiting for a company that consistently fails to handle its workload. I understand that some jobs experience difficulties and that this may delay their staff. But they should know this as well and should have a backup plan. And again, if this was an isolated occurrence, I would be much more accommodating. But it seems to be the same story every time.

Terrible wrong. The plumber bent the pipes in the wall making my shower unusable, and then wanted to charge me to install a new shower faucet. I would have expected a professional plumber to stop before he caused damage like this. I completed an online survey, did not hear from them. I called 7/6 to complain. I finally call again on 7/13, spoke to a customer service rep to cancel my membership with them. I finally got a message on 7/23 concerning my cancellation of my membership, nothing about the poor service. I returned the call on 7/30 and left a message. Still no response. On 8/5 they put through the charge for my membership, which I cancelled on 7/13. I called and was now told there is a form I need to complete. This is the first time I was given this information. I was told by the service rep that I would receive the form to sign and cancel my membership first thing Monday morning, 8/6. I still have not received the form, and have not receive a return call on my complaint. I would never recommend My Plumber. This is fraud. They are not the company they use to be a few years back.

This experience was atrocious!!! First, the same-day service advertisement was not honored because you didn't have enough technicians. They couldn't give me a service window like other companies, except 8am-5pm. That's not a service window, it is a service day! Then the first technician said I needed additional coolant. Called back an hour later saying he found air in the line, so another technician would need to come the next day with a second person because purging the line was a two-man job. The next day, we were told three times that the technician would be calling "soon" with an arrival time. Didn't show up until after 4pm. I asked the second technician where his second person was because the first technician told me the fix was a two-man job. He said, "Oh, I saw that in the notes . . ." He then proceeded to do a diagnostic on the condenser outside, and said my compressor had blown a valve and I needed to replace it. When I asked why I should believe his assessment, which would require a much more expensive fix, he said the first technician was "an up-and-coming technician." At that point, I informed him I would NOT be using My Plumber ever again. The same-day service was false advertising. Two technicians with two different diagnoses was incompetent. I now have to start over with another company five days after the initial problem report. Atrocious!!

I scheduled the service appointment through the web-site. I received a call the following day stating that they could not keep the appointment commitment so we re-scheduled for a later day. We were told that the appointment window was from 8:00 AM through 6:00 PM and they would not commit to either an AM or PM appointment. At 5:30 PM, I received a call that they would not be coming that day and would like to re-schedule. At that point, I decided to call a company that actually would keep their service commitment. Unless you want to wait at home all day only to be disappointed, I suggest you try another company.

The plumber arrived on time. He determined he had to cut an under the sink pipe to allow him to use his snake. He did not check basement where the drain had an access to the clogged pipe. He then snaked the drain, reconnected the pipe, ran some water through it and was done. The time used for this procedure was less than an hour. BILL $452.00 , a really exorbitant amount. Dentists and surgeons are not that expensive, and they speak english clearly.

three times, they failed to show up for appointments; when they did come three days later they didn't call ahead. they spent 6.5 hours onsite. without obtaining landlord authorization, they replaced the pressure release valve on the water heater and substituted existing copper pipes with white PVC ones. their fees was top, their workmanship third-rate: the vertical PVC pipe pulls to one side. not impressed.

Fast service. Plumber (John M.) knew exactly what the problem was and how to fix it. My Plumber (John M.was honest and quickly repaired the leak. I was told by another plumbing company it would be necessary to remove the shower tile and go inside to repair the leak. It is a pleasure to work with a company that is honest and capable of fixing the problem correctly without adding unnecessary and additional cost.
