Great, team was professional.

They were punctual, explained everything and willing to do a job that others refused to do.

During the evening of January 7, 2013, we lost water from our well. Since we have an equine business, this is a serious matter for us. Those providing services today seem to lack a professional attitude and pride in their work. That does not apply in this case. I called Monticello Pump Service late at night, and my call was answered. By 8:00 AM the following morning a crew of three was on the job. Repairs required a new control box and pump which had been destroyed by a power serge. Since the new pump was one not commonly stocked, it was necessary to order it. The same crew with control box and pump was back on the job the next morning accompanied by the business owner who remained until the work was completed. I was given a kit to test the water for chlorine, a test of the well water for minerals at no cost to us was arranged, and we received not only a kit to test for bacteria but also the name of company nearby to provide the test. Normally the service would have ended at that point, but not in our case. If the owner had not explained the cause and assured us that therefore the repairs where covered by our insurance, we would not have filed a claim. He then assumed responsibility of justifying the claim personally with the insurance company. I filed the claim by phone; he justified it by phone, and in approximately a week, we had a check. I have never had better service. It was provided with pride in work, professional knowledge, and concern for us.

I was very pleased with how detailed Paul was. We have not had a home on well and septic before and he was able to confirm much of what we suspected. They were very thorough, detailed and cleaned up after they had finished. That is dirty work! Many thanks to Paul and Monticello!

They are very pleasant and knowledgeable. They are thorough in explaining what needs done and what can wait. They don't pressure us to repair everything right away and they fixed the leak.

Overall, the professionalism, the friendly/want to help/can do attitude was honestly astounding. That the team wanted to take time to answer all my questions calmly and continue working at the same time had me sold. Before they had even finished I was totally convinced that I made the right call, contacted the right company and was being treated professionally, fairly and above all honestly. We are on well water and suddenly found ourselves without any water in the house on a Sunday afternoon. I called Monticello and the phone was answered by Paul. I explained the situation and he talked me through some diagnostics and got our pump running again! Not an easy thing considering I am clueless when it comes to fixing things (that's my husband's job and he's out of town!) I will definitely be using Monticello for all my pump and plumbing needs in the future. Outstanding customer service. Thanks, Paul!

They were very good. The owner came out to our house. He was very polite, very reassuring, and made me feel better. They were very careful about everything in our house and did a very good job.

A few days ago the pump began to work erratically and again we called them. After testing the electronic component - which seemed to perform correctly - it was assumed that the pump must have gotten clogged which made it unable to operate properly to maintain pressure. One theory was that last years' earthquake could have caused some collapse inside the well and surrounded the pump with mud. The pump was lifted, a couple of feet were removed from the pipe and the system was checked. This time the pump operated normally and was able to maintain pressure and cut off at the right time. Three people and two trucks had come to my house, Paul, the company owner, Jason his grandson and future hair to the business and a helper. They worked for about an hour, not including their traveling time, yet Paul decided that I already had enough problems and did charge us. This was a very welcome action considering that they had every right to do so since the issue was not related to any work they had done before. I have recommended them without reservations not because they did not charged us but because of their responsiveness, demeanor and overall professionalism.

You get what you pay for: excellent and courteous service, and an extremely knowledgeable installer (Jason) who explained everything from what the new equipment does, to what changed in the new system as compared to the 12 year old system being replaced. Fastidiously neat work - Jason and his co-worker even removed their muddy shoes outside of the house before entering the basement. Clean up was superb with no trace of any parts or pieces was left in the basement, in the yard, or on the driveway. Jason provided a very good estimate of both cost and time of completion. This is a family-owned business and it shows in Jason's pride in his attention to detail and excellent workmanship. We can call them anytime if we have any questions or problems. Everything is working perfectly. We received a 10% discount on the labor charges even though the coupon, on the company's website, had expired the previous month.

This is top of the line equipment with brand new technology. The equipment is wonderful. Over a period of six months, they had to come back out to make some adjustment and also to reprogram the computer to fit our needs. They always came out in a timely manner.
