Miracle Method of Fairfax

We looked at several alternatives and decided that hiring them would practical for us. The cost was fair and was much less than replacing the items. They were very professional and the work was accomplished quickly. The quality of work was quite high. We are very pleased with the result.

The service was great! The owner was the salesperson. He was very attentive and responsive. His wife also arranged for the service. The technician was also very pleasant, did a good job and was clean. They finished in the projected amount of time. They even came back and repaired one small problem that came up with no questions asked even though it was a year later.

I researched them on the internet and hired them because of their good reputation and being a national chain. They were very thorough with the estimate and I scheduled the appointment for the work. They don’t normally come out to Culpepper, but they already had a job in the area so they fit me in. They provide a five year guarantee with their work. They were easily available through phone and emails as well. Whenever I called them, they got back to me immediately. They were able to complete the work without having me there and let me pay with my credit card over the phone. Everything worked out just fine.

I chose them based on it being their specialty and not many other companies do this type of service. It was easy to schedule the appointment. The work and quality was excellent!

It was a very inexpensive way to redo our bathrooms. I was not completely pleased on the uneven areas on the shower floor when the work was complete. They were very pleasant to work with. Overall, the work turned out fine.

He was very friendly and on time. He told me exactly what I needed to do.

Decently. We had been concerned about leaking within the grout, etc., before and anticipated a lengthy and costly re-do of the shower. When the Angie's List Big Deal came up, it seemed at just the right time. Cost and time seemed to be pluses. The end result looks very nice and appears to have solved the potential leakage is resolved. Now that we've lived with it for a while, there are cons. You can't use just any old cleaner on the Miracle Method surface, so we have to be very vigilant about mold, as we don't have the same "nuclear" options to blast away the mold. Also, we can't wipe or bush too hard near seams, as that might cause a break. Miracle Method did come back and fill in some sections that didn't seem to set/needed more application to remain solid. We were informed about being careful with the cleaners, and they left information. They were helpful in coming in to do the re-application as a warranty measure. We'd certainly use the company again -- but the Miracle Method itself is something we'd want to be sure would work for that application. It's definitely worth checking out as an option.

The tub looks like brand new. They were supposed to fix one chip (per the estimate) but when the technician examined the tub he discovered two more chips..without asking repaired those also. Then when he was going out the door he mentioned that he redid the caulking around the tub as it was failing. I think I got more than my money's worth.

Went well. We got an estimate; agreed to the price, set up a date; they arrived on the date, on time, and started work. They covered everything, blocked off fumes from exiting the bath as much as they could; installed an exhaust fan to exhaust fumes out one of the bedroom windows (no window in the bathroom). New finish is exactly as selected and agreed to; bathroom looks like new. Subsequently sold the house (we were planning on moving prior), and the appraiser only noted the bathroom as being in "good" shape, not renovated, which was a disappointment, since we had all new finishes and new faucets, etc. The smell was also stronger than I would have liked, but to be expected for the type of work, which is essentially a thick paint coating. But I would definitely reuse the company and the product again if I wanted a simple redo of the bath.

This work had been arranged 3 months in advance, so it could be done during my summer break. Was called by Laurie 3 days before the work date to make sure all was ok, work to begin on 8/26 at 8:30. Owners son Blake arrived on time as scheduled and work began. Quite the process to clean out old caulking, clean the walls, spray on a primer, the color selected and then put on a clear protective coat. This took most of day one, and about an hour of day two. Drying was required before the door could be installed, so on day 3, Aug 28th, Blake and a senior co worker arrived on time and installed the door. The overall affect on the master bath is astounding for the good, has changed the bath completely to get rid of the old color. Wall has a bit of texture to it, and color is uniform throughout the surround. A very professional job and my thanks to Brent, Laurie and Blake. Have had three neighbors in to look at it and they are all considering doing the changeover. If I had more bathrooms that needed a changeover I'd bring them back to do it.

Good communication with Laurie, who is co-owner and does all the scheduling. The technician arrived on time both days and was extremely professional. We had just had the bathroom remodeled except for the tub, so we were worried about the glazing process doing damage. He did a fantastic job protecting tile, faucets, etc. and after he left the space was good as new. We've only had the tub in action for a few days, but have shown it off to friends and everyone agrees it looks like new. Would highly recommend this company and this process.

The technician, Blake, did a fantastic job, he worked from 8am until 9pm to complete the job and was incredibly professional. I could not be more pleased with his work and the end result.

My bathroom, which still had the original peachy pink tile from 1971, was terribly outdated. Also, there were several chips in the porcelain tub. Miracle Method came in, prepped my tub and tile surround (including filling in the chips), and turned it into a lovely new white surround and tub. The whole process was easy. The estimator came out the same day that I called and we scheduled the work for the following week. The actual work only took two days. My tub was out of commission for 3 days total, which wasn't a problem. I love how fresh and clean it looks. There is a strong smell, but it goes away quickly. I would be happy to use them again.

I filled out their online form to ask for an estimate. Brent, the owner, called me back and answered some questions that I had. The work was scheduled for the next week. I got a phone call when Murray, the technician, was about half an hour away. He was on time and did a great job, carefully protecting the rest of my bathroom from the spray. He returned the next day to buff and polish the tub. It looks wonderful. My neighbor had them do her tub a few years ago, and it still looks like new. The coating does have quite a strong odor when it's being applied but that went away within a few hours.

The chemicals used in the service cause strong odors in the house; I recommend vacating the house and leaving all windows open during the service. The bath and shower look great; however, we did notice some chipping in the tub after about 6 months. We called Miracle Method and they came promptly to repair the chipping as part of the warranty.

I was on a timeline to get several projects finished for this bathroom. Refinishing the tub was the first item I needed completed. They were able to accommodate the days I needed them to come. The technician, Charles, was prompt both days. Took great care of the surrounding area and cleaned up. He was quick and efficient. There was a slight smell for the first 2 days but it didn't last. The tub and tiles look like new. Will have them back to refinish a shower stall in the future.

IAs my bathroom was badly in need of repair work, the only dealing I had with Miracle method was to purchase a Cardinal shower door with installation. I highly recommend this heavy duty and good quality shower door and love the rain pattern that I chose. The owner stated that I needed some repair work first before any surface refinishing could be done and recommended an excellent repair guy who had his own business. It turned out that it would be cheaper for me to get a whole new bathroom rather than repair and refinish. I took his advice. When I got around to using my squeegee on the shower door, I discovered that the installation guys from Miracle Method had installed the door incorrectly - the side with the pattern was facing inwards, when it should have been facing out. The owner of Miracle Method promptly set up an appointment to have the correction made. Even though the Miracle Method installation guys reinforced the door with extra caulking, water continued to splash out under the rim onto the floor. As I was already utilizing the excellent repair guy recommended by the owner of Miracle Method, he volunteered to fix the floor leak using a superior grade of caulk. So far, so good!

They came out the next day and did a great job saving us $240. They were very professional and explained everything they were doing and how long it would take.

Miracle Method of Fairfax were excellent, I can't tell where they made the repair. They cleaned up, they were very polite, they were very forthcoming with information, It was a perfect experience with Miracle Method of Fairfax.

They were very prompt and very helpful. I had really good customer service with them. I had some questions that he couldn't answer right at the estimate but he got back with me later on that day, both through email and phone. They were a great company. We just chose to do the work in a different manner. Their product was good and their company seemed to be well represented by the people that came out. We just chose to go a different route.

I contacted brent (owner) and he quickly responded in person to look at the job. I felt the quote was fair and the person performing the work showed up on time and did an excellent job. The shower looks like new, saving me a bunch of money.

My condo was built in the 60's and while the other fixtures have been replaced, I still had the blue bathtub that was fine in every way except the color. Miracle Method turned it into a sparkling, white, new-looking tub. I had wanted to replace the fiberglass surround with tile, but it was too costly, so Miracle Method also resurfaced it so that it's shiny and new-looking. There were several color choices but white was what I wanted. For the floor, I was able to choose among several options, most of which were meant to look like stone. This substance also gave a fresh look to the floor. Rather than look new, it looked *fresh*, since it was covering those old mini ceramic tiles as well as the grout. This was a several days-long process. The first day they removed the toilet (for a very reasonable fee), taped all edges and fixtures very well and precisely, and sprayed the tub and surround. The next day, the floor was sprayed. The bathroom was off-limits to me during the whole process but I was able to peek in the door to see the progress. I think two days passed (maybe one) during which everything was left to dry and set. On the final day, the man replaced the toilet and removed all the tape. All was beautiful. Right away I noticed a very tiny chip in the floor surface. It was really by chance that I saw it as it wasn't obvious, but the placement suggested that it might have occurred while the toilet was being replaced. I called the company and they sent someone out to fix it. That part took several weeks for a couple of reasons - first, the company wanted to wait until someone would be working in my general area, and second, I went on vacation and in any case, it was a very minor flaw so I wasn't pursuing the fix aggressively. I have no doubt that a more serious flaw would have been fixed in a much more timely manner. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and professional.

They did an excellent job of refinishing the shower stall floor. The stall had many scratches due to handicap equipment. It still looks like new.
