KPM, showed up and gave us an estimate. The gentleman were very polite and on-time. We got a few other estimates and to be honest they were not the cheapest, but they left us with a good feeling. We called them scheduled a time and date. They showed up with all the material. Again they were ontime. they worked very efficiently and while I was nervous about the porch columns, I was afraid that my roof would fall. They had no problem. it was done before i knew it. The new porch looks amazing! My only regret is that I waited so long! KPM cleaned everything up I will definitely use them again.

While having a dish put on the roof the installer noticed a soft spot on the roof. We called a roofing companing and a few other recommended people. We called KPM remembering that we had used them for other things (most recently a porch). And to our delight they did roofs!! Jason and Tim came out and gave us an estimate. They put us on the schedule and within the week the soft spot was repaired. Which was amazing due to the fact that we did not even know about it and the spot was so bad that we were one good storm from having a waterfall in the house. KPM was professional and efficient. I will definitely use them again.

Everything was great from the beginning to the end. As a realtor Licensed in VA and MD and VP of my HOA, I have access to many roofers. I Interviewed many companies and picked KPM because of Jason. the one that comes and do the bids. I like a roofer who goes up on the roof for and estimate and not just look at it from the ground. I was looking for someone with great service and could back it up. Also a person who can give me a written quote and explain the work an not sell me on what others do or do not do. They finished up in one day and cleaned up and went around my home many, many times thoroughly looking for nails . I am 100% pleased and am using them for other jobs of home repairs. I highly recommend KPM for roofing replacement and other work. BTW they even did power washing for me last week.

We started with an idea as to what we wanted and began interviewing contractors. The wall removal quickly became an issue with several of the contractors leaving us with a bad feeling. Other contractors were slow about getting together an estimate for us or seemed to want to put more into the project than we anticipated. We interviewed several neighbors and friends about their experiences and finally settled on Jim Kirsch. We never looked back and consider it to have been a great decision. The wall removal, which was the sticking point with several contractors, was dealt with as soon as the basement dining area was completed using the cabinets and countertops from the old Kitchen. Plumbing for this basement space was for the bar style sink that was included. Cabinet selection, flooring, layout and furnishing was a product of all of us working together. Information was shared freely and options were plentiful. Realistically, nobody said no but everything had a price. There we no surprises. Ok, maybe a few that involved me saying to have the door to the garage being hinged on the left rather than the right or accepting the granite counter top on the island with one edge when the decorator who went with us had ordered another. Hasty decisions be owners should always be avoided. Plumbing problems were avoided largely by the fact that we didn't move anything but installed new stuff (sink, faucet, garbage disposal, and dishwasher). Cabinets were a major consideration and much time was spent between us and the decorator and the contractor. We finally settled on what we wanted and stepped back to allow the contractor and decorator to decide on the final layout. We joined them at home depot with the checkbook. Two problems we had with Home Depot pushed the final completion date by a couple of weeks since any changes required a piece to be reordered from the factory. One was the panels on each side of the refrigerator were ordered the same height as the pantry cabinets. The pantry cabinets were 93inches so that they could be stood up on a 96 inch wall but the panels needed to be 96 inches. Both were ordered at 93 inches. Flooring was another area that changed during the project. Originally we were going with an Oak hardwood floor that Jim would finish. we changed this to a lower price laminated pre-finished floor that could save a couple of thousand. Looking back, I think this was a mistake. That's it. Jim Barnhardt, The homeowner.

Recently, we had a bad storm that snapped off a tree branch and slammed it into the roof of our house. For the most part, our house was fine! But, not entirely. We had a small area where the roof was damaged. We weren?t sure just how bad the damage was, but we were absolutely sure that we didn?t want to find out what happens when it rains on a damaged roof. KPM came out, assessed the damage, and then made the repairs really quickly. Their team even inspected the entire roof for us, and assured us that the rest of the roof was in fine shape. Best of all, they only charged us $355! I couldn?t be happier with their work. The roof looks great, and we have weathered rain and snow since then with no leaks. I will definitely use KPM again.

Jim was very professional, and easy to work with. He readily shared his experience, and for the work I had done, his price was reasonable. I plan on using Jim for several other projects in the near future as my budget and time permits.

KPM Home Improvement did a fantastic job. I am so pleased with the results. They were punctual, trustworthy and professional throughout the process. They also were able to handle unexpected challenges that arose with a 1945 home such as uneven walls and retro-fitting cabinets around existing pipes. Additionally, they were able to be flexible and added tiling the floor and installing under cabinet lighting upon my request. I would definitely use them again for any home improvement job.

KPM came to the house, very nice, knew what I wanted and made suggestions. He picked up the rack and returned it two weeks later. I am very happy with the outcome and will definitely use them again for other household repairs.
