Charles M. is a WONDER! I learned SO much from him! Not only did I discover small, "prior-to-crisis" preventative procedures I could perform on our system, but, Charles also uncovered long-neglected maintenance needs that should be attended to, sooner, rather than much later. Charles M. went several steps beyond just pointing out our system's passes and near-fails. He also took the time to explain and detail the reasons for HOW the items arrived at their state of existence, and, WHY its important to either do homeowner-initiated maintenance or decide to call in the professionals ... like Charles! Bottom Line: Charles is a KEEPER, F.H Furr! In Charles M., you have much more than HVAC Service Technician ... Whom you have in Charles M. is an extremely skilled and knowledgeable expert who is detail oriented, customer focused, and, the absolute pièce de résistance -- friendly, colloquial, and, approachable professional. The quality of work was excellent but they were seriously over priced. I got a discount from Angie's List. A job that should have cost $200 and they charged $500. It took the tech about 30 minutes to do the work. The materials cost was under $6.00. I talked to the company and they disagreed. I probably wouldn't use them again. A wax ring, a little over priced. The person who did the wok was very nice, knew what he was doing and was efficient.

It went great, the electrician was very knowledgeable, courteous. Explained everything in detail and provided instruction for safely using the electric with the generator.

They do our heating and air conditioning, so they do the service. They check and make sure things are good seasonally. The air conditioner was just under warranty, their ten-year warranty on the parts, and they worked to get me the part with the manufacturer, at Trane, to get me the part, the warranty price and what-not. I was very, very pleased with them. This has always been air conditioning. That's what they do. We have a unit up in our attic with two vents and a unit downstairs for the main part of the house, so it was two different parts. I think it was all under warranty. I think I had to pay something for the parts. It could have been in the thousands of dollars, and I think we ended up paying $300.00. I can't even remember to tell you the truth. I have lime disease, so that's probably the best I can do for you. If they hadn't have done great on the previous visit, I wouldn't have called them back. It's so hard to find someone you can trust. We had another technician this year who was exactly the same way as the last, but I don't remember his name. I ask a lot of questions because I'm cynical. Explain this to me. So he explains everything to me. "So if this part on your furnace goes bad and you don't catch it, then that makes the other part go bad." And he says if I find that hasn't gone bad, and I mean it can be something as they start at the beginning and they blow out this pipe to make sure there's no congestion in it from the a/c, the dehydration process, the condensing line, they blow that out, they showed me how to do it so I can do it every now and then. Just that kind of thing. Things to keep my furnace healthy so that I don't have to have service calls.

We have a service plan with them and they've been very good. We had a part break and they were good at getting them at warranty for us and making sure we got the best price. I didn't ever feel like they were trying to push us into something or up the price or anything like that. They were very good. They are hugely responsive. They call you when the tech is on the way and the tech calls you. They're all around a great company. They wear covers on their feet. When I ask questions, they always answer me in laments terms. They etched everything out for me if we have this scenario, then this would happen and if we have this scenario, then that would happen. They were assume. We're getting another service contract with them. Just one person came out. This time they went up in the attic and I believe they had to fix something so they came twice. The first time they were here about an hour or hour and a half and the second time he was here for 20 minutes, put the part in and moved on. They have a technician, Chris Samuels, he was our tech and he is phenomenal. He is just a down to earth, paints me a picture of everything, the scenarios and was just the most professional. Chris Samuels was just the bomb. He's just great!

I recently signed up for heating and AC systems maintenance plan for one year with F.H. Furr. I am pleased with my first experience and I will continue to use their services as long as they retain well-qualified and honest techs, such as Reuben M. He was absolutely wonderful. He arrived on time and placed covers on his shoes before coming in. Reuben was not only professional, polite and knowledgeable, but also very patient and took the time to answer my many questions. I watched him work and his expertise and attention to details was so remarkable. He explained everything, a superb educator! Unlike my previous experience with most techs, he didn’t push for any repairs or sale on us. Reuben is a very honest tech I have come across in a very long time and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking HVAC services. I enthusiastically look forward to getting my AC systems serviced by him in spring.

Technician arrived within 90 minutes of my call and did an absolute perfect job. Have used FH Furr in the past and will use again. Prices may not be the cheapest but you get what you paid for. Prices are not by the hour but flat rated by the job no matter how long it takes. If you request additional services not previously asked for they will accommodate you

I remember calling and I was scared because I hate water issues, and he came out as soon as they could. It made me feel very relaxed. Another thing, everything they did they explained and they showed me, they showed me why they had to fix something.

It went well. They showed up on time and did a good job. Overall however, FH Furr is much too expensive for my budget. We will seek other vendors for similar tasks in the future.

Juan (and the tech before him) were very professional and thorough. Did a great job of explaining what they were doing. He replaced a lot of parts on a five year old unit that Furr did not install.

Michael completed both projects with expert knowledge, excellent quality and efficiency for both repairs. He took the time to consult with another peer for the best way to approach the repair of the leaking water pipe inside of the wall. I appreciated his detail and concern for the right way to approach this repair.

The installation went extremely well. The workers arrived at 9:30 a.m., as they said they would. They were all friendly and professional.

We were able to get an appointment the same day and our plumbing technician Michael Bowley was excellent! He diagnosed the problem quickly and ensured the leak was fixed and gave us helpful advice for ensuring the problem didn't occur again.

When he found out I was interested in learning more about my system he walked me through the routine maintenance and troubleshooting any owner should know and really took his time to explain the basics. Replaced blower unit on furnace and replaced internal air filter, also cleaned coils and stopped vibrations on external unit. Obviously well trained and knowledgeable technician. Organized and neat performance. Offered available discounts and recommendations for customer's preventative maintenance as well as annual agreement. Very professional.

It was flawless. Brandon was articulate, professional and great to work with. I felt no pressure to do more work than I choose to do and he explained everything and answered every question. I never felt like a question was dumb. If I could, I would specifically ask that Brandon come back for any other electrical needs that may arise in the future.
