The Service Technician, Marco, arrived promptly on time and was very polite and courteous. He took the time to put on shoe covers to protect the carpet and hardwoods from any outside dirt/shoe marks. He was extremely knowledgeable on the operation of both the indoor furnace and outside air conditioning system components and was more than willing to share his expertise. He answered a myriad of my questions, regarding his inspection and maintenance procedures, as well as questions about what he believed I could do myself and those best left to a HVAC professional. He checked all my filters on the system (Humidifier and Air Cleaner) and changed my air filter with a spare that I had previously purchased. I was very pleased with the time he spent with me going over the system and with the recommendations he made for potential future upgrades such as surge protection and deeper cleaning of some furnace components. I highly recommend him and will request his services from F.H. FURR in the future for any of my HVAC needs!

The sales person Josef was very professional and helpful when explaining the various options. The install team was prompt and the installation went smoothly. At each step of the process we were kept informed about who would be coming to the house and when. The whole process was top notch.

Jimmy did a great job. He was timely & efficient. He has a pleasant demeanor and showed me where the problems were & explained the cost.

They gave me an appointment window of 2-5pm and then called me at 10 am asking if they could come at that moment. I could accommodate at 11, but that wouldn't work for them. we kept my 2-5 window, which I came home for at noon, and they no-showed, calling at the end of the window to say they were not coming. When I told them it was my first impression of their company, they got me a special appointment with no window, first thing on the next saturday morning. That guy showed up, on time, and was nice enough, but all he did was tap a box on an ipad to multiply a flat rate for new ceiling fan x 5 and email me the PDF with the total. He didn't really look at anything. Such a waste of time for something that could have been done in one phone call, or even by me online with no interaction. Anyway, the estimate is bonkers expensive, so I'm moving on.

In my previous review, I had given FH Furr 'D' rating because of over pricing issue, since then I had worked with Tiffany, FH Furr's Client Relations Director to resolve that issue, and was able to attain some pricing discount as result. I am upgrading their grade to 'B'.

2 appointments were made with FH Furr and in both cases they cancelled the night before. I can't evaluate much more since i can't get them to show up!

Went very well. Tech knew what he was doing. Service was free with the annual service contract. He did try to u p sell me with two options, but one was very interesting and might do it.

It took 4 days for someone to call me back and schedule. Once Electric was scheduled, I asked if the rep could schedule plumbing and she said no, it was a separate department because it was a different individual. Once I got passed to plumbing, someone scheduled me but couldn’t give me a time window until day because they don’t know how many people are working. Guaranteed someone would come, but with no time? In the day of my supposed scheduled plumbing and electric service, I got a call from a plumbing rep who stated there was no one available to come out and give a plumbing quote. When Kevin fulp arrived (the estimator) he said he was capable of giving both a plumbing and electrical quote. Sounds great but it took him almost a week to get the quote back after he said he would finish and send by end of day. He personally scheduled a follow up visit with us for two weeks from that day. A day before the visit. We got a call from a rep asking if we wanted to schedule a follow up. When we told her we were already scheduled, she said we were not and Kevin was busy. There was much back and forth, eventually Kevin came back but not at the time or date that he scheduled with us. When we went over final requests, we asked Kevin to send a revised quote so we could start the project immediately. Kevin ghosted is. We never heard from him again!!!!! 4 weeks later, FH Furr rep called us to see if we wanted to reschedule our initial plumbing visit. Talk about lack of communication and follow up. We post poned the start of our renovation by nearly two weeks as we waited for a response from Kevin. By the time hey followed up. We were already 10 days into renovation. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY if you want to have a swift and smooth renovation experience.

Service was fine. $276??? With a service contract? To replace an existing thermostat? I signed up for their annual contract after having them install my HVAC system through Costco. That was last year. Yesterday the system stopped working and they said it was the Nest thermostat. I figured fine, it's under warranty. The thermostat is. So I didn't pay anything for that. But then they charged $276 labor to replace the existing thermostat. That's ridiculous. And that's with having the service contract! I am dropping them after this service contract expires.

The technician was very helpful and prompt.

The most technically knowledgeable sales representative out of the 5 different companies I compared prices with. Answered many questions that I had and spent a total of 2 hours with me overviewing the services, equipment, and details of the system. Unfortunately the price was just too high compared to others. Representative also said that I needed to change out my line set because it was too small, but no other company said that. I decided to go with another one and I didn't have to change out my line set.

Took four hours to locate and rewire faulty wiring. He showed us what he was going to do and why he was doing it throughout the process.

Ok. Valve not changed since Marcus said I would need to change the kitchen faucet if this was done. My kitchen faucet is not an inexpensive type so I opted to just shut off main valve if any plumbing needed to be done at kitchen sink.

Parts were required, but the technician was able to get them and complete the project in one day.

Demarcus with HR Furr did a great job. Arrived on time, was courteous and professional. Job was completed quickly and without any problems. Not an inexpensive price, but would hire again as quality of service was very satisfactory.

This organization is great at communicating with the customer and very punctual. Three different reps came to our home for three successive tasks: The service tech miss-diagnosed the underlying problem with our failing heat pump system and cleaned the evaporator coil while then discovering that the blower fan had failed and was not moving any air. The sales rep gave us a quotation for a replacement heat pump system with a piston-type compressor despite our discussion about my strong preference for a scroll-type compressor. The duct cleaning technician removed the floor supply registers and set them on the floor next to the ducts and blew high pressure air at them to dislodge dirt and thus spread dirt/dust all around. But they were all very professional in their appearance and punctuality, friendly and respectful - but their work results fell short of expectations. It's tough to rate this organization overall because they are really great at scheduling, communication, and coordination. Just that the results were disappointing.

They kept me updated with appointment time via text message which was great because the last company I tried to use didn't call and never showed up

Shaun was very helpful in helping troubleshoot the problem and repair the toilet. He also pointed out some other issues that need to be addressed over time. Very professional.

You pay for what you get. Other companies quoted me 1/3 of what I paid FH Furr to have my HVAC/AC unit installed. When my water heater went crazy (which we are still dealing with today) the technician and the manager worked with this mystery. While the problem is semi resolved they are on top of it. All in All I am happy with the service and the skill level of all of the men who come out. They are clean, pleasant, funny, and I don't feel like they are just guessing at things. I have only had two issues with FH Furr in the 14 years (bad technician a few years ago and the cost of this unit) otherwise I would hire them again. But they do not come cheap .
