I have been FH Furr customer for a while and I subscribed to their $167 annual contract maintenance through preferred partnership. Recently I requested emergency service and the tech, who came in and inspected the heater, recommended to replace the trip switch for about $500. However, I was repeatedly told that my equipment was over 12 years and after replacement of the switch, they would not be able to offer any warranty on the replaced part or performance of the equipment. Of course, I denied the offer since I would not pay for a service without any guarantee or warranty. First of all, I googled for the replacement part, which costs around $25 in the market and then realized they charge $475 for the labor, which takes about 30 min to complete the work and is unreasonable. The tech offered another recommendation to replace the entire system, which is nearing end of life. The bottom line is these guys always prefer to replace equipment, rather than fixing the minor issue and would love to charge the customers as they wish and drain your bank account. They assume their customers are dumb and can demand money as they wish without repair and warranty on their service. This is how FH Furr run their business claiming their service is above and beyond the quality of their competitors, which they don't in reality. I would never ever come back FH Furr nor recommend to anyone.

Leo was a stand up gentlemen from start to finish. Ran into issues that were out of his control but he found a way to get our drain unclogged. It was pouring down rain and he stayed an extra 3 hours vacuuming out outside water, etc. he wouldn’t leave until he was able to help. I can’t recommend him enough.

We hired Furr to do a heavy up and install an EV charger. We got four other bids and in hindsight anyone else would have been better. Their work twice failed inspection and rather than just cleaning up their mess, they wanted to charge us more to complete the job. Apparently, passing inspection was not included in their original estimate. They also consistently dropped the ball with Pepco and the Montgomery County inspector, so I had to become an involuntary intermediary coordinating the parties. We ended up hiring another company to complete the job, increasing our cost. I’ve used most of the contractors that I’ve worked with over the 24 years that I’ve owned this house for decades, and I can honestly say that Furr is the worst one I’ve ever encountered.

Matthew did a great job. Kept us updated on time of arrival. Was able to come on same day we called. Explained the problem, answered all our questions. Great job on repair.

Jason Reyes from FHfurr came out to clean my ducts. His crew was on time, very polite and friendly, explained exactly how everything would go, the process and how long it would take and that’s exactly how it went. They explained everything that I had questions on and left the house very clean. They even made sure to leave the vents in the same position that they found them. Good experience. Would use them again next time.

Very knowledgeable and skilled plumbing inspection done by Michael Bowley. He fixed a toilet issue and repaired a low flowing bathroom faucet quickly. He also inspected all the plumbing areas in our home and provided estimates.

Michael did a really nice job. He took a good amount of time to explain to me the issues with my specific townhouse, and he laid out a number of options to deal with any future problems. I felt he was knowledgeable, diligent, and honest. FH Furr is my go to contractor for my rental property issues.
