I think that they do a great job. They also have a very competitive price. I also appreciate how clean they are, being conscious of how they respect my home. Craig was the representative that came to our home. He was professional, pleasant, and not overly aggressive. He was straight forward with the facts, pricing, and also their warranty.

They were ok. In terms of professionalism, they sent me the information wrong. Their follow- up was not that great.

My shower had a slow leak so I called FH Furr first thing in the morning. They had a serviceman at my house 3 hours later. He checked out the leak then gave me an estimate to repair the valve. The estimate was $299. I had another bathroom with the same type valve and he recommended that one be replaced as well even though it wasn't leaking. He said it would be another $299 to repair that valve but if I did both today, he would give me their Preferred Service Club discount (15%) so the total bill was around $500. I didn't have the time to call around for other quotes so I had them do the work. Well, I learned my lesson. After he left, I dug the part he replaced out of the trash and looked it up online. The valve cost $20 at a local home warehouse store. The faucet manufacturer has replacement instructions on their website so I could have done the job myself for less that $50. The technician was very professional and the quality of the work is good but to spend over $400 in labor for a job that took 15 minutes is extreme. If you are considering using this company, definitely get additional quotes.

Our experience with them was not positive. When they put the unit in and we went out to look at it, the whole unit was leaning as it was tilted. We had to call them back. They came back and told us that it was going to be okay as it did not matter. They told us that we had to put three bars and four seats so that it would not fall further. We showed them the check that we had written. We told them that we would not be doing anything and that they would pay for it. They fixed it but we had to fight for it a little bit. There were some issues with it. When we called them, they acted like it was no big deal and it was the way that it was supposed to be. We felt like we should really like the way it worked when we paid so much for it. They came when they said that they would. They were very nice but the only thing was that they did not want to re-do it.

They were very nice. Their quote was at the best price, and they were fine. I got a lot of information out of them. They were very knowledgeable about what my needs were and what I need to consider when I made a choice. They didn't ruin as far as the work that I had done. They were responsive, very professional, and very knowledgeable. They seemed to know what they were really doing. Their financing program could have been better. They definitely knew what they are doing. The person that came out was really good, and I really liked him.

The plumber assessed the problem and had materials on-hand to make the repair.

The reason I wouldn't have them come out again is because of a heating issue. While they came out the same day or the next day it seemed like there was always something wrong and I felt like I was being sold a new part and so forth. I just didn't appreciate that. There were bugs on the part that lit the furnace. I didn't like that, so I canceled my monthly plan with them. I then decided to find someone else through Angie's List. That's how I became a member. I felt they were dishonest and trying to sell me things that I didn't need. They made a point of coming out right away and it was great to have same day or next day service. I didn’t like the hidden sales, but they were professional in their demeanor. I do understand the sales part because I'm a salesperson myself. I just don't care for that kind of sales. They didn't have me buy something that I didn't need; it's just that I didn't need it right then.

I asked for a afternoon appointment because my wife works late and sleeps in the morning. The morning of the appointment, I was called because they had a cancellation and would I like an earlier time. I explained again that I wanted an afternoon appointment. Twenty minutes later another call, the service tech is on his way - I again refused. Twenty minutes later, a knock at the door - guess who. He comes in looks at the work and pulls out a price book. I wanted two faucets installed (I provided the faucets), two drippy showers repaired, and replace the trap on one sink. Price - nearly $1200!!!! He wanted over $300 for one part that was about 1/2 hours work. I sent him home and refused the work.

We had decided to update our HVAC system since it was around 24+ years old and there was a govt. tax credit. After getting estimates from 7 dealers, ee found most all prices the same between dealers - the differences were due to models, capacities, and add-ons. I decided to use FH Furr based on cost and their reputation and the system proposed. The personnel I dealt with were all courteous and always arrived on time. each tie, they called before they arrived to let us know they were on the way. When they came to install the units and remove the old one, the first thing they did was protect the carpert on the hall, stairs, and basement living area. The installation team was effective and it was apparent they had worked together for a long time which made the job go more quickly. The HVAC was installed in the middle of December so it was not easy working outside in the cold, but neiter man complained. Afterwards, they went over the operation of the system and even programmed it for me so I would not have to struggle with learing a new system. This Trane system is quiet and very effective in handling both the winter heating needs and this summer's heat. We're happy with the unit and the copany.

They were good overall. Nothing really stood out. I rate them high overall.

Everything went great. They were very friendly and professional. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Overall, everything was fine. They delivered everything they promised, and we got the best deal. Total was over $10K but with the govt' tax deduction and a $1K refund from the manufacturer, this was the most competitive bid for the top residential heating unit and ac unit, as well as a new water heater. Also included was removal of all the old pieces.

My wife was there for installation, but she said they were in and out in good time, took away all debris, left the area clean, and were polite and professional.

I last interacted with them years ago because of which I have set up biannual visits so they are taking care of my rental home. I spend about $20 a month. They do what they say they are going to do. They send a thorough biannual visit reminder whenever they are scheduling with my tenants. It's worked out fine and there are no complaints from the tenants or from the company. I would continue to use them in the future.

Their estimate was extremely high. We saw thought some of the stuff they recommended was not necessary. We got someone to do the job for 1/3 of the price. They treated us well. They were nice and seemed thorough.

The cold water valve under the bathroom sink was leaking. I had turned the knob all the way off and the leak stopped. FH Furr was very responsive and came that evening. The plumber informed me that the valve was not leaking and there was no need for the repair. I found this hard to believe since the cabinet was still wet from the leak. I asked to have it replaced anyway and also to replace the hot water valve. Our house is 25 years old so I am sure it is time to replace valves. I was surprised that it would cost $400.00. Of course, I wanted to get the repair done and not have to call several plumbers so I caved in and paid the price. The next day I called several other plumbers just to get a comparison since we have three other sinks in the same condition that need to have the valves replaced. There are several other plumbers that are half the cost. I would highly recommend checking other plumbers. FH Furr is great if you need service within the same day but if you can wait; you can have the work done for half the cost.

They were good. I would assume their price was reasonable but they certainly were dependable and worked hard. I don't know how to compare their price to others because I didn't get estimates. I think they did a really good job. As a matter of fact they are rebating me my money that I had to spend for the oversized water belt. When you have a genuine leak and you have someone to come out and repair it, if you send them a letter explaining it to the water authority along with a copy of all your bills just to prove it was something like that, they will refund most of your money. They did call me the other day just to tell me that they were refunding most of my $375.

Price is kind of a hassle because they come at times when I merely work. Otherwise, they are pretty good. They don’t seem to kind of rip you off. They are some things that they could have done but they didn’t. There are some things that I could have fixed myself but I expected them to do. They come when I am working and I take time to come here. I usually get the same person and I try to leave him alone to do the work. I have not had any problem with any of them. They are courteous and make sure they solve all the issues. I will continue to use them.

They were the contracted vendor for Home Depot. I went with someone else and saved over $1,000. I had a good interaction with them and they were not pushy. They were pretty vague when they were writing down the parts, which made it more difficult for me to shop around. They were not very clear.

I spent $90 for nothing. They will do a plumbing estimate for free but not a furnace estimate and that was not clear to me. They offer service programs for around $150. They are very, very over-priced. I did not think the technician was very good. They would not let me use a $15 coupon I had from a previous call. He did not want to fix my furnace, he wanted to sell me a furnace for over $7000. I went ahead and told him to just leave. The company I ultimately used gave me a bid for almost half the price. We got a bid for a water heater for half the price Furr gave us as well. They have a lot of people and trucks but feel they are just into the selling business. They did some plumbing for us in the past. There are some good technicians there but this time did not go well. Their price is almost double their competitors. I had a good technician the first time. After that all the technicians seemed to find extra things wrong. I felt it was time to look for a different company.

They did assessment work when they came here and they were great. They were very professional. They were little too expensive.

After two satisfactory experiences with F.H. Furr for plumbing, I considered switching my annual service contract for heating-AC work to Furr, which offers a 15% discount and other benefits for this $13.95-per-month arrangement. But how to assess the actual value of Furr's contract, since a 15% discount would be worthless if the company customarily charged -- say, for a hypothetical example -- 20% more than competitors? So I asked for Furr's estimate to install a new hot water heater to compare its price with that actually charged by my current heating-AC contractor a year ago. Furr said it doesn't give phone estimates but would send a technician who could tell me the price. After I agreed, Furr called back and said the service manager decided to charge me $60 for that appointment: No, thanks. And no further dealings with Furr.

The plumber ended up running the cable about 20ft. This worked and he reset the toilet. The price to complete this work was exobitant. According to the estimate, the standard rate to do this is $772 and I was getting a bargain at $656.00. Because I had overnite guests at my house, I didn't have time to call around for a better price. The actual work itself did not take more than an hour or hour 1/2. However, the plumber left for approximately two hours because he said he needed a part. Although he may have had a legitimate need, the job seemed pretty standard to me. I will NEVER use this company again due to price gouging
