F.H. Furr Plumbing Heating AC & Electrical

It was part of the contract and so basically it was free. I didn't pay anything for it. I have been using them for years and years before I discovered Angie's List. I've had my kitchen faucet replaced. They did some work in my bathroom on the tub - tightened up some things. They installed the A/C for me. I also have had them install a new furnace. They've done a lot of work for me. They upgraded my service panel from 60 to a 100 amps. They've done a lot of work for me. I'm on their special list, where you pay for each month. You don't necessarily get top priority service, but if you get on that list, you'll get a visit within the same day if you have an emergency. They will kind of bump you up on the list a little bit. The quality is excellent. When you call with a problem, their technicians come in, they listen to what you have to say, they go ahead and investigate the problems, they give you a good cost estimate. If you authorize them to go ahead and perform the work, they generally have what you need on their truck. They definitely come to your house prepared. They don't have to go back to the office or go back to the warehouse, very rarely do they have to order anything.

FH Furr was timely in responding to my call for assistance. Please know, we have a maintenance agreement with them and it helped! The technician, Drew, was polite and thorough. He explained his findings and discussed what was needed in order to get our AC cooling. He wore booties in the house and responded with "yes, Ma'am.." or " No Ma'am". Overall he was here for less than 1.5 hours.

Richard Killeen came to inspect and fix our AC system when it went out during the hottest week of this summer. He quickly diagnosed our problem, realized it was still under warranty and ordered the part on the spot. He came back a few days later to fix the issue and now our AC is working better than ever. Richard is a consummate professional and was a pleasure to talk to while he did his inspections/work.

Juan came out today to provide my annual A/C inspection. He was exceedingly professional and helpful - providing tips and suggestions on how to maintain my system and even walking me through the steps. I am rather curious and tend to ask lots of questions regarding what/why the technicians are doing things and he thoughtfully answered all of my questions without a hint of irritation. He made reasonable recommendations based on the conditions of my unit rather than trying to sell me services - which I greatly appreciated. Excellent experience! Regarding F.H. Furr - they have provided consistently knowledgable and personable technicians. The only frustration i've had with the company is their inability to provide a specific window for service - my suggestion is to request the first call of the day as they can give you an expected start time for the technicians, thereby providing a window.

He was very informative, discusses longevity of units, explained the overworking of system outside burned off the paint and rusting has occurred. Reviewed the benefits of routine maintenance . Uses protective shoe covers in the house and made sure fence was closed and locked to prevent loss of my dog.

Our experience with them was pretty good. He came with a truck and he did not have the proper tools. He was trying to use something to screw something in. It frustrated my husband. He could have come with the right tools.

It went very well. The man who came was friendly and professional, explained what needed to be done, explained what had happened to cause the break, and performed the work quickly and well.

Jimmy Cody, our technician, was thorough in explaining all systems and their operation status. When encountered with a question he did not know the answer to, he did not hesitate to call on another technician he trusted with more years of experience to ask - that alone was quite impressive and showed his humility and persistence. He gave good, solid suggestions to keep the system running in top condition. We were very satisfied.

I have used FH Furr in the past and they provide exceptional service. My old AC unit was not working and with the heat increasing throughout the day, FH FURR was able to work me into their work schedule. The technician, Russell, showed up at my home on time and ready to figure out what was wrong with the AC unit. He quickly did an analysis and determined it was the capacitor. Provided me with recommendations to help the unit run better - once I agreed, he got to work. The AC unit was up and running in about an hour - total cost was just under $1100 bucks. I know have a cool home. Good experience with FH Furr and their professional employees.

Kyle Henderson completed a flawless modification to pipes to affix a water adapter for my refrigerator. He was polite, knowledgeable & efficient. Although FHFurr was able to complete my priority club member service, the cost was VERY excessive as all I needed was to have a valve installed to attach my existing water line for an ice maker. Prices are mandated by FH Furr & I will definitely seek out more cost effective options next time.

I was referred to F.H. Furr by Costco. I actually ended up going with a different vendor but had a very positive experience. My system broke down, so they scheduled a consultation for the next day. The representative, Mike Korwin, did a great job explaining the work that needed to be done. We initially planned to use Furr, but later reconsidered. When I called to cancel our order I expected a heavy handed push to change our mind, but they accepted our decision with respect.

Kyle Northrop, the F.H. Furr plumber, was very professional. He covered his feet so as not to dirty our floors. He carefully explained to us what type of plumbing needed to be used for our home to be sold. The company came out the next day and completed the work that same day. We would highly recommend F.H. Furr to.our friends and neighbors. The price was very reasonable.

Kyle Northrop (Plumber Technician) was an excellent problem solver when the job presented new challenges for him that he wasn't expecting. I applaud his professionalism for representing FH Furr Plumbing properly and for keeping me informed about the job as he progressed. He was also able to address the review of work completed, speaking coherently and in a very polished, calm manner. I have not met such a polite plumber in my experience in hiring these kinds of services. I have done this type of work myself in the past for many years and decided to hire it out this time. I felt no pressure to buy additional services when he was here. Kyle deserves recognition for his strong work ethic and professional demeanor- something that is very hard to come by these days in any line of work.

Mr. Andrew Johnson is a season and senior technician with the FH Furr team. His can do attitude and professionalism makes the customer feel at ease and the job at hand an interactive process where he and customer sees first hand what where how why to resolve the issue. He went about his job and called the customer at times to explain what is occurring at major steps. He was personable and converse of other home issues that he has confronted on his residence and what to look for in keeping your house and best order as possible. For example, he asked me if I had proper installation in my attic and we talked about a venting exhaust unit I had installed on my roof. He explained that sometimes the unit's blades will warp or bend from wear and tear and they should be inspected to reduce noise level and proper operation. I truly thank him for his insights of home maintenance.Over all, his performance and professionalism was tops TOPS TOPS.

Both gentlemen arrived a little earlier than expected which was great since I didn't have to waste time waiting around for hours. The company called prior to each arrival to ensure the timing was okay. Patrick Close performed routine maintenance on my HVAC unit in a timely, courteous and clean manner, and included a check of the duct work. He made recommendations for me to consider to enhance the comfort of my home - I will consider having the work performed in the future. We discussed power surge protection for the HVAC, and I'm considering power surge protection for the whole house. I would recommend Patrick for any HVAC needs and would definitely use his services in the future. Chase Scott performed the plumbing inspection of my home and showed me everything he was doing. Chase recommended I replace a rusted supply stop on one of the toilets. He performed the recommended replacement timely and the area was left very clean. I would also recommend Chase for your plumbing needs and would use his services in the future. Overall, I'm very happy with the services provided by F.H. Furr, and have never had reason to complain about any of their employees.

FH Furr did an amazing job to offer a complete solution to our issues. The flooded basement caused the water heater to be replaced as well as our well tank and water conditioning equipment. They recommended a custom built shower pan be built in the basement and relocated all items inside the pan to protect the basement from any future water leaks. Could not be happier with the exceptional work the their team did.
