Dean's thorough knowledge of the Lennox heat and air system help us keep abreast of what checkups we need to perform regularly as well as overall improving our air quality. I had an excellent experience getting my hot water heater serviced today. I called F. H. Furr to have my water heater flushed. I highly recommend the tech who came out - Mr. DeMarcus M. I asked if he could also show me how to do this, since I am told this is something homeowners should know how to do. He performed a diagnostic of the electrical components of my heater, then gave me a lesson on my how my water heater generally works, and showed me the flushing process. (Now this old lady knows something truly useful that she didn't know when she woke up this morning!) He then showed me how to safely get to and reset the thermostat button, which might have been why I wasn't getting hot water. What a great teacher! He took time for me to take notes, was patient, did not make me feel stupid, and explained everything very clearly. I highly recommend him for his competence, professionalism, courtesy and kindness. (Any local community colleges looking for someone to give classes for DIYers should call him.) After all that, I was charged only the quote given for the water heater flush. Since my heater is at that age where I might be needing a new one, he also left me with quotes for different options F. H. Furr offers on water heater. F. H. Furr was very well represented by Mr. DeMarcus M., and I will ask if he's available when my older house inevitably needs more plumbing work.

Excellent! Lloyd Ferguson came out twice. Once to perform the inspection of the outlets and the second time to install the GFIs, replace the broken attic fan, and install new garage lights. He told me what time he thought he would arrive and he was right on time. The work was installed in a timely manner. Lloyd was friendly, polite and very professional. I am very pleased with the work he did and I will check to see if he is available when I need electrical work done in the future.

Great!! I was pleased that they were able to send someone that same day. Jimmy did a thorough job of snaking the pipes and explained what had caused the problem (lint build-up from the washing machine). I was completely satisfied with this company's responsiveness and professionalism.

F.H. FURR installed my HVAC system approximately 2 years ago, and this was a free annual check up of the system. The technician was extremely professional and discussed concerns after completing a thorough inspection. He tightened up the outdoor compressor grates as they seemed to rattle upon startup, but otherwise my system got a clean bill of health.... I would highly recommend this company even though they are not the most economical, but you get what you pay for......and in this case it was excellent prompt service.....

Checked electrical connections, panel, GFI, and answered questions and concerns we had about our electrical connections in the house. The tech was very courteous and friendly. Answered all our questions.

Fair he didn't bring the right bathroom fan he left for about an hour to get the right one. I was also told if the work is more than $1500 you get a cruise for two and when I asked if we were going to get the cruise he changed it and said you had to spend more than $2000.

They came when they said they were going to come. They put on booties and kept the house clean. I had to call them once or twice, I had questions about my new thermostat and they walked me through it. They were very patient and very helpful. It requires a special kind of filter that they had to order. I would use them again absolutely. I will have them back out next year.

It went very smoothly. He sat down and explained the whole thing (with all the technical details). It's very comforting to be able to make a decision when you have all the facts in front of you.

The entire process was very professional. FH Furr called to schedule a meeting. Eric Williams explained the FH Furr process of installation, how they use UV protected pipe covers and the difference in they way they solder their pipes. They were also the ONLY company that told us that in Loudon Co, VA you must pull a permit to do the HVAC and furnace replacement.

They always do a great job, whether it's plumbing, electrical, or HVAC. I highly recommend them.

I contacted F.H. Furr to replace my existing wired home smoke detector with a wired Nest smoke/carbon monoxide detector. Brandon arrived to do the installation. He was very professional and extremely knowledgeable about home automation. He installed two devices and set them up on my wi-fi network. Brandon showed me how to access the devices using the Nest on my cell phone. If you are interested in changing out old smoke detectors or adding carbon monoxide detection to your home, contact F.H.
