+ -1 morePlease listen to me ignore the jingle, ignore the commercials and the bearded dude on the truck Do not let these guys in your house it is not worth it. At the very least they will overcharge you. At the worst they might leave you equipment worse than they found and not take any responsibility for it like they did with me. We found another company that was willing to fix what they broke for $1200 less than their quote. Just find someone else, anyone else. Congratulations on all your money FH Furr I hope it's worth it.
Description of Work: I hired them to take a look at an issue I was having with my basement being too cold. They suggested that I install two dampers a humidifier and get a new thermostat for $1600. Like a dummy I trusted them and agreed. They came and installed everything but the thermostat because it turns out the guy didn't look at my wiring set up the first time and realized he could not install the Nest thermostat he said he could. This should have been my first clue that I was in trouble. Immediately after he left an error appeared on my thermostat saying there was an issue with my furnace. Please note that I did not hire them to look at my furnace and this was never an issue before they came. I called them immediately and they came back out two days later and said I needed a new igniter switch and I agreed another $385 dollars. You guessed it, it did not fix the problem. They sent a different technician out and he told me that the circuit board for my furnace had gone out. Keep in mind this was not a problem until they connected the humidifier that they installed to the circuit board. To be fair I cannot prove that one caused the other but it seems to me they are related. The technician then informs me that it will be $2200 for the new circuit board an installation. I requested a refund for the installation of the switch because that was work they did that did not fix the problem they said it would but they refused. I requested a discount because it seems to me the work they did most likely led to the circuit board outage again they refused. I argued with them for two days and realized they were just going to keep charging me more and more no matter what I did.

+ -1 moreIn June 2022, I purchased a home with a Lennox system installed by FH Furr in August 2020. FH Furr transferred the warranty and service agreement to me, and I was upsold on continuing the “Gold Plan.” My year of experience with FH Furr was unacceptable. The inconsistencies and unprofessionalism, the promised follow-ups never completed, and the up-sales and mistakes caused significant trauma and other impacts. It has prevented me from settling into my new home, caused damage to my property, created unreasonable inconveniences, and caused me to miss countless hours of work. After this consistently poor service, my lack of confidence in the work done by FH Furr prompted me to pay to have two third-party evaluations completed by Lennox certified HVAC companies. They determined the 2020 installation by FH Furr is not to Lennox standards in several ways.
