The representative from the company wasn't very professional. We wanted to install an electrical outlet outside and he did that well enough. However, there were some light switches in the house that we didn't know what they were wired to and he couldn't find that out for us. When inspecting some of the light switches, he caused sparks 2 times and shocked himself a bit one of the times. Prior to leaving, he asked to use the bathroom. I said yes and he proceeded to use the bathroom without shutting the door all the way. He left without even flushing the toilet. We will never use this company again!

I had bought the two hours Big Deal.The electrician who came, for two hours he could not figure out how to make the two way switches work. But he was able to replace the light fixture in 5 minutes. When I complained to Mr Doyle and requested a different electrician to finish the job, he agreed but only if he charges me $55 extra. The new electrician came and fixed the switches within an hour. I was happy the problem was taken care of but I did not feel the Big Deal was such a good deal since I had to pay for an extra hour to compensate for the first electrician lack of competence.

Ben ran late for our appointment but called immediately to tell me and to see if the later time would still work. I have no problem understanding when a contractor gets tied up on another job. I just want to be informed of the change, which he did. He was very knowledgeable and efficient. My home was built in 1830 so electric work is not as straight forward as on a newer home. He was able to give me a rough quote on the additional work we would like to have done and I will use Doyle Contracting to have it done.

I had 3 light fixtures installed, 1 foyer and 2 hall. The workers took their shoes off upon entering my home which was nice because not all companies do this. One of my light switches did not work so one of the guys installed a new one at no additional cost. The deal was actually for 1 hour of service with 2 workers and the job in all took an hour. I wanted some other things done but ran out of time so will need to schedule another appointment for that.

fixed several items, evaluated a couple others, and generally finished everything I asked very quickly. Gave me enough information for a couple of issues that took some thought on my part.

Performed work as asked. I would have like the tech to wear "shoe" protectors when walking inside the home from outside during the winter weather but was ok. They worked the entire time they were here - two man-team showed up for the 2 man hours; each worked to complete the work assigned. Everything worked flawlessly when they left- so I was very pleased to have them perform the work pleasant & nice worker.

The project ended exactly the way we anticipated. Ben goes out of his way to ensure his customer is 100% happy.

He was a nice guy and came out shortly after we purchased the deal. He came in and did the work. I have not had any issues. It was a minor job and he was on time. I would use him again.

The work turned out fine. I wasn’t quite as happy with the quality of workmanship that was performed but it was acceptable. It was a big deal purchase. I did not spend more than that.

Job was completed quickly and cleanly. Can't remember the name of the man who did the work, but he was professional and very pleasant to work with. He cleaned up all debris from the job, including removal of the old fan/light assembly and disposal of the box from the new light/fan.

This was a new installation. The electrician had to do everything from stringing wire, installing the box to hanging my wrought iron chandelier. They were very meticulous, consulted with me to make sure it was located exactly where I wanted it and left no mess. Highly recommend this provider.

This worked out great. We had no issues working with the company regarding scheduling. They were very accommodating. The technician showed up on time and was able to get the work done within the two hour timeframe. I purchased the fan from them and they installed. Since the work was done, I have had no issues with the fan. Overall, this was a good experience and I am very satisfied.

He was prompt did everything we asked and was done in good time

Angie's List special deal for 2 hours of electrical work. They - installed a new outdoor pole light and photo eye- dimmer switch for chandelier - 2 switches for kitchen overhead - 2 plugs. I provided most of the parts, but got some from them at a decent price. Wish I had a few more things to do, as they was still a little time on the clock, but a good deal.

I had all the products so they just did the work. I paid for 2 hours of service but they came with 2 guys and did one hour of work. They did what I wanted and actually did a little more so I was kinda okay with that.

Workers arrived on time and completed work in the specified timeframe.

I could not have asked for a better service. Their communications was outstanding, in making making sure on a date that would accommodate my schedule, which to my surprise was on a Saturday. Unfortunately with old age, I can't remember names, but the gentlemen was extremely polite, friendly and prompt. He explained the process made recommendations to me for the way to proceed. Once we both agreed on the way forward he went to work. Surprisingly, I thought this would be a two man job, but he ran the line by himself and even lifted the microwave and installed overhead microwave by himself. He then took 5 more minutes to install a new light switch for me. Lastly there were some other items I was interested in and instead of just taking my money, he recommended some cost efficient ways of doing it, without needing to pay someone to come out and do the work. I will have no problem with using DOYLE CONTRACTING LLC in the future or recommending to friends.

One word. Outstanding! I requested that they bring a certain part, which they did and they did an outstanding. They were on time, did not attempt to charge anything extra, and did the job well within the time frame quoted.

They also caught existing items that could have been dangerous, such as wrong breakers for our AC unit & were kind enough to reinstall the cover to our service panel (had been off for more than a year, due to some water coming in). In short, I appreciate the professionalism, quality work & what I would say is a fair price. Will for sure use this company for any future needs.

It went very well. The two electricians were very helpful and didn't waste any time getting to the issues I had lined up for them. It was money well spent, but the customer just needs to be ready and realize in two manhours of electrical work, only so much can be done.

Installed two ceiling fans. Before I purchased this service, I called to inquire if the installation of two ceiling fans would be within the two man hours and was told yes, as the wirings were already there. First of all, two men came, but it looks like one of them is really an a assistant. Even though they said they are familiar with such work, it took them one hour to install the first one, and half an hour to install the second one. I had to pay additional $80 for that half an hour. After they left, I read the instruction, and realized that the fan was setting for warm weather rotation, not the cold weather in order to move the warm air downwards. The fans work fine, but it would have cost me less if I had used a handyman instead.

It was probably the best experience we've had with an electrical contractor. Scheduling was quick, easy and on the calendar within days. Two Doyle employees arrived actually ahead of time and got right to work. One of the repairs was something we probably could have done ourselves if we'd looked at it closely. The other repairs had been attempted by other electricians who were not able to fix the problems and we had left them un-repaired (in two cases) for several years as they were not frequently used. Doyle was able to fix them easily. One problem involved Doyle's electricians making a complicated repair to the circuit for some outdoor, under the eaves fixtures. Doyle's electricians were able to complete all of the work we had hoped and several repairs we hadn't anticipated they're having the time to get to. Very impressive! They looked at a couple of other problems we knew we would need to address in the future and, in one case, explained how we could repair it ourselves. Both electricians worked quickly without stopping for the full two hours, were very professional and left everything clean and tidy. I would absolutely recommend Doyle Contracting to others in need of electrical work. Our experience with them could not have been better.
