The electrician and his assistant were on time, but struggled to drill through the top plate of the wall into the attic. Apparently, they didn't have the right tools for the job. After 45 minutes I assumed that they would be near completion, but when I checked on the electrician, he was clearly frustrated. The room smelled of burnt wood from the drill bit. A moment later he burned his drill out. He was clearly close to finishing the hole. I offered the use of one of my drills and he said his bits weren't long enough. I offered the use of my bits and extensions. He said he had another appointment to get to, didn't have time, and that he already lost a drill on this job. I would have to make another appointment. Having nearly burned through the time I paid for, and assuming I would be charged further, I told him I would do it myself. Once the electrician left, it took me about 2 minutes to drill a new hole, and 30 minutes to rewire everything and clean up. After seeing how much trouble the electrician went through, I assumed drilling the hole would be difficult, but that wasn't the case. My biggest issue with the experience is that the electrician didn't have the right tools. Electrical work involves drilling in an array of situations. This means having a good drill, with at least one backup, and sharp bits of different lengths and sizes, The electrician was probably using a dull bit which burned the wood and cost him a drill along with a lot of wasted time. Also, had he been drilling straight, the bit might have been long enough. Nonetheless, he should have had longer bits or extensions on hand. Another issue I had was that the electrician left without finishing the job, even though I could provide the means for him to finish. He and his assistant could have been done in under 15 minutes. Thirdly, the electrician took his frustration out on me. He was curt and in a hurry to get out of there, even before he had been there the whole hour. His attitude improved only after I told him I would do the job myself, probably realizing that I just paid $109 and got nothing in return. He offered to come back, but it was simply easier and, assuming he was going to charge me for the additional time, cheaper for me to do it myself.

Went well. He was honest, sincere and stuck with his promised pricing range. I will call upon him, again!

Doyle Contracting LLC did really great and efficient work, knocking out all of our electrical projects in the two hour timeframe. Ben removed and replaced an entryway ceiling light and chandelier in our living room, along with repairing an electrical issue with a closet light (identified in our home inspection) and replacing a half dozen electrical plugs and light switches in our master bedroom. We are very pleased with the result and consider Ben our go-to electrician ongoing.

Purchased a deal for two hours of electrical work. Very responsive, good customer service and great value. Purchased additional hour to finish all projects.

I had 2 projects I wanted done, and they were able to complete one of them with the deal I purchased. They fixed a faulty lightswitch for us, and it is working great now.

We wanted to put a fan in our foyer but there was no way we were getting up that high. An electrician came out and everything was done in about 35 minutes. Very professional and I will continue to utilize them in then future.

The contractor was responsive when contacted after the big deal. They requested we purchase a new fan in case the old one had to be replaced. They arrived on time, replaced the fan quickly and on time. Nothing to complain about here.

Everything went extremely well. I thought I had all the parts needed but didn't have the correct receptacle for the outside outlet, One of the guys ran to home depot while the other one worked on installing the lights. I'm very please with the work done. My only concern is I cannot change the light bulb on the front porch light. The socket is not secured enough to remove the old bulb. An ovesight I'm sure, but I will be contacting them to see if they can assist.

My experience went very well. The staff was professional and friendly while visiting. They did an excellent job and I would recommend this company to others.

It worked out perfect. The guy was real nice. We took pictures so he had the correct parts when he came and he was punctual. He got the job done in about 30 minutes.

Well. They showed up when scheduled, cleaned up and left. Provided name of dry wall guy to repair the holes.

They got everything done and were wiling to answer many questions about our wiring and future jobs. I tried to be realistic about what could be done in 2 hours and they did it all. The electricians were pleasant and professional. I would definitely call them if I needed more electrical work done.

The service was good and I was pleased with the service.

Three workers showed up on time. One worker did all the work. Other two just watched. Worker removed old outlet and cover and installed new outlet and cover and tested outlet. All three left after about 20 minutes, but did not clean up the bits of copper wire and the plastic wire coating. I cleaned up after they left.

It wasn't two hours, I noticed that it was one hour and two guys, otherwise they were nice guys but I was thinking I would have them for longer. I might miss understood the ad. I felt like I was bitten switched there. They were professional.

It was great! They really worked with me on the time they could come out. I really needed them to come out soon and they were able to come out sooner than I expected. They came out just a few days after I purchased the Big Deal. I purchased the lighting so there were no additional fees with the company. They did such a good job that I plan to hire them again!

It was alright. He was quite fast so he did a couple of other things. He did quality work and he was punctual.

They were very prompt. Daniel was very efficient and knowledgable.

It was fine. The technician was not as knowledgeable as the first tech I used from them before.

Ben Doyle was very patient in rescheduling this work due to the need to have fixtures manufactured. The manufacturer was way behind schedule, and then when the fixtures finally arrived there was a period of cold weather. Ben was extremely neat in the way he went about the installations. He also explained what needed to be done with regard to the non-functioning features that had been installed a few years ago. This was a terrific way to meet a dependable electrical contractor.

Went well. They completed the job in about an hour.

Daniel arrived promptly, and after a little guy BS-ing with the customer, went right to work. I had the Big Deal of $122 for two hours electrical work. Of course I knew that the project would run over due to the nature of the job, correct hole placement, running wire, etc (though 2 tech's might have been faster). Daniel was methodical, experienced, and polite, and most importantly he was polite and personable to my fiance. I hoovered over him from time time, and it didn't seem to bother him, I was just picking his brain in learning a little this and that about household wiring. As I said, Daniel was very professional, and had a great personality. The install went great with no problems or hang-ups, and he cleaned up after himself. I believe Daniel to be a good reflection on Doyle Contracting LLC. We went over by three hours, but the cost was still under all my current estimates for the room remodel, and lets be honest, does anyone think that they can get this type of work completed, if there is no existing infrastructure, in under two hours?

I was very pleased with them. The technician that showed up was extremely professional. The job was done, he cleaned up after himself and it was done efficiently. He gave me some suggestions on other things that could be done. I was very very pleased with the work that was done. If I had the need, I probably would use them again.

It was okay. They did an "okay" job, not a stellar job, but I guess a good enough job. I think they sent junior electricians to do the job who made some mistakes. But, he corrected them and got it all done.

They were on time, efficient, cleaned up after themselves and fixed a wire that was found to be exposed and was a fire hazard. Their electrical work was great and they also replaced the piece of wallboard behind the lighting fixture so I had one less thing to worry about.
