Description of Work: Very poorly! The $349 Big Deal only gets you 4 holes drilled in the ceiling and running a wire for a dimmer switch provided by them. If they make a hole in the wrong place or when they probe by poking holes to find obstructions, they don't fix those holes. In kitchen, they made 3 holes, 3"x3" squares so bad I had to re-do the whole ceiling at additional cost, not to mention finding labor and time. What was worse was their dishonesty. The big deal is for incandescent bulbs. They sold be upgrade to LED for $65 each saying they are selling me that at "their cost". Found out later that I got ripped off. Also, amateur work!

Description of Work: The came in to put 6 recessed lights with the deal on Angie's list. They proceeded to cut out 12 holes in the ceiling and 2 in the wall for the light switch. Saying that they made a mistake. | |They then wanted another $1000 to patch and paint the extra 6 holes that they created!! | |They told me I would have to make another appointment for sometime next week for them to come back and patch the holes, prime and paint. |I was going to be left with holes in my ceiling for a week!!!! | |They tend tried to sell me on paying another $1000 to check my electrical outlets!! | |I will not recommend them to my enemies and would definitely not use them again!!

Description of Work: I bought a 50 dollar Buy now deal which included the service call and 100 dollars towards service. I paid an additional 65 for a light installation. I thought the extra 65 seemed a little high just to have a light installed but, the service was excellent and we would definitely use them again. In fact we have already had them come out to give us an estimate on more work.

Description of Work: We had a difficult time scheduling, but Courtesy worked with me. Two representatives saw me at the end of the workday and handled all I needed done within an hour for the negotiated price. Professional and neat. We discussed estimates for future work & two proposals were received within hours. I would use Courtesy Electric again. It was a pleasant experience.

Description of Work: After buying the service, I gave 3 dates and times for preference. There were no responses. I called and left messages 5 times and still no response. At that point I thought it was a good idea to cancel service with them. Money was refunded by Angie. | |If they are too busy to return a call, then it's a good indication not to do business with them.

Description of Work: Courtesy Electric was running an Angie's Special. We needed a motion light replaced outside of our garage plus a few small touch ups. Our needs were just slightly less than their coupon but they treated it as respectfully and helpfully as if it were a major job. We were exceptionally pleased with both their work and advice and will contract with them for future work.

Description of Work: This company is the worse Ever! Firstly they arrived late (that's after I had called 'Jose' to find out what's going on.) I've been waiting for there arrival for approximately (1) one hour. They went to the wrong condo (Really! Did I not have my name and address) when they arrived they Never apologized for there tardiness! It took (2) two guys to change out (3) three wall outlets, (2) two light switches and (2) two outlets that I had done for myself but was not able to complete (It was a Total disaster! I Was Not able to go to work for 1030am because what was suppose to be less than an hour job took these sorry men 4 hours!!!!! And the sad part of it is; they Never came back nor call to complete the job that I had to pay another contractor $150. to complete! When they left I had partial power in my condo they could Not figure out what happen just by changing out some light switches and wall outlets. Then they blamed dominion power " a fuse was blown" " we do not have no control over that" but everybody in my building was Not affected. I called Jose to let him know that the engineer in my complex said it was there responsibility to repair what they have broken it had nothing to do with dominion power they had cross wired something. He (Jose) said "he will call me back." To this day I Never heard from him or no one else from that company they Never reduce the cost of service or apologize for to me since I wasn't able to go to work till they left which was about 1pm |I purchased this special on Angie's list plus they charged me $90. extra and I had to pay $150. more to another contractor to do repairs on what they had created.
