The work was done very professionally and to my satisfaction. The only improvement I would like to suggest is to be upfront in the deal about extras. In my case, I was not aware of additional charges for drilling through joists and patching of holes.

Owner initially showed up and checked out the damage & determined we needed a new door plus rot repair. He asked us to select a door online let him know than the work could begin. We found a door contacted him several times and than nothing. We ended up getting the work done by someone else. Before the coupon expiration date we finally spoke to him and he said he would do some electrical work for us in order to make good on the $200.00 coupon. After not hearing from him I got his e-mail address from Angie's cs & wrote to him asking what was up? A call was received by someone who said that the owner was on vacation and that he was no longer associated with Angie' s list. Courtesty Electric took our $200.00's and left us with nothing for it. He arrived earlier than scheduled, which was fine by me. Carlos, the electrician was very pleasant and polite, he was tidy in packaging up the disposable items (boxes, styrofoam, plastic, etc.) and he was very efficient in accomplishing ALL of what I wanted done within the time provided. I would definitely recommend, and WILL use again, especially since they provide general Handy Man services in addition to the electrical services.

The representative left holes in my kitchen ceiling and said he could not do anything about it at the time, but if I wanted to order new kitchen lights, the holes could be patched up during that install. So, he did fix the light fixture from hanging by the wires. He also did state that whoever installed them the first time did so incorrectly (the lights were already installed that way long before I moved in) and could not avoid making the holes in the ceiling. And I'm sure he was just doing the routine sales pitch and upselling on behalf of his employer. But. There are still holes in my kitchen ceiling that weren't there before he fixed the light fixture.

MEMBERS BEWARE!!!!!! I have never dealt with a shady company before. Nor have I bothered doing a review. I am doing this as a public service. Bought the $99 deal for $200 worth of service. When the technician showed up, he said their standard troubleshooting charge was $478. Technician work on it for 20 mins and found loose wire connections and paid extra $300. Go figure, this company consistently has a "promo" for $99 and $119. I was close to filing a consumer compaint but i guess this company is desperate so they need it more than me.

Technician was proficient and accomplished requested services. Amount paid on Angie's List was to go toward service, but really didn't. Additional amount paid, I learned, could have covered the cost of the project...without paying the come-on payment.

I called to schedule an appointment. The technician came the same day and did not charge for the consult. I will DEFINITELY call again for any electrical needs.

I can change a lightbulb myself, thanks. Everything else was outside the coupon, including charges for trips to home Depot. A bait and switch type deal. Got a refund, so thanks.

I purchased a coupon from Courtesy Electric for four hours labor to replace woodwork anchoring my front screen door. Courtesy Electric refused to either tell me in advance what materials they would need, or use their own materials and bill me for them. They insisted that either I or they go and purchase materials while the labor time was running, which means less time for them to actually do the work. They said that purchasing the materials could happen while doing the tear down. But there is very little to tear out. So the purchase time would greatly eat into the labor time in any case. They were very inflexible, telling me that they would not be making any money anyway, so that justified their inflexibility. I got the strong impression that if they did the work for me they would not have my best interests in mind. So I cancelled the coupon and work.

The employees were great and did their jobs well. Their management, however, is abysmal. I paid $99 for the work. I would advise anyone using this company to get out your stop watch and make sure YOU agree with what their start time was. The reason I say this, is that the clock started the second they arrived at my driveway. And they ran 15 mins over...so their company owner made them come back to my house after several hours to ask for a $130 check for the extra time. I was so angry, which I shared with the employee, but I just paid it--I don't have the energy to fight with them over something I thought was so outrageous. Anyway, good workers. Make sure you come to COMPLETE agreement on when their start time is when the company comes to survey what work you want ahead of their worker's visit. And make sure to have your own stop watch.

Was looking for a professional to fix the powder room bathroom walls as the wallpaper was peeling off. Made the initial request on 3/7/17. He had schedule conflicts but finally showed up on 5/13/17. He brought a coworker and was here for about an hour. The ad said 4 hours of drywall work. He broke my Toilet tank lid and said he was sorry and would get me a replacement. I gave him a second chance to come out and perform the vanity install. (9/16/17) When he showed up he stated he never read my emails and would get to the bottom of who did and call me back in 45 minutes. He just says whatever and makes things up as he goes . I try to give everyone at least 2 chances and he is all talk but no substance. I can't imagine anyone trusting this person . Here we are in October and I still have not been reimbursed for the broken toilet tank lid.

The men who came to my home were very nice. They were professional, courteous, and left my house clean. They were not able to complete the flooring project in one hour, as they would come and go together for cutting and measuring, but helped me figure out how to complete it myself since I had taken the day off work and had a washer installation that afternoon. For all the positives of the men who did the work though, I was a bit frustrated by their manager (or, whomever I emailed with prior to the work date). He was nice and fairly responsive in communicating with me, but I had asked that one man come for two hours, rather than 2 men for one hour, because the space I needed work in was so small. I had also asked that they not come before 9 am, as my building has "quiet hours" and my downstairs neighbor is vocal with his complaints. The two men came at 8 am - punctually - so I was doubly unhappy that they were working so early and that two men were trying to do a one-person job in a tiny closet. For full disclosure, i did not get back in touch with the manager I had corresponded with to voice my frustration about this mix-up.

It didn't. Sending an email without speaking to me and setting an appoinment without confirming with me is not acceptable. Then saying you knocked and called me on the day of the appointment after I let the second contractor in to do his work is also not acceptable. Angie's List was kind enough to refund my money and I found another vendor to do the work.
