Once the company actually showed up, the work was quick, efficient, and looks fine. The low rating for punctuality comes from the bad scheduling. The company double booked my appointment time and didn't realize it until I called them wondering if they were ever going to show up. He apologized, but that did not make up for my missing an entire day of work (I dropped my car off in the shop that morning, thinking I would be at home for the recessed lights). We rescheduled for the following Tuesday late afternoon so I would not have to miss as much work again. The price via the Angie's list deal was good, however, the charge to patch up holes in the drywall that were necessary in order to run the wiring was outrageous. $70/hole just for some spackle! Also, the additional charge to use a toggle switch instead of a flip switch was more expensive than buying it from the hardware store. So these things averaged out to a C rating. Overall, the rating would've been higher if there was better customer service and more acknowledgement of the inconvenience caused. I understand that mistakes happen, but it would've been nice to have seen a bit more remorse.

You know what I appreciate? Respect. As the name implies, Courtesy Electric were courteous, but moreover, they respected my time with prompt communication and punctuality; my intelligence in respecting the deal I had purchased without trying to tack on extra charges, as pretty much all the providers of Angie's list deals will do; and my property with taking care to be clean, and installing the product as I wished it. They were right on time, and vacuuming up the dust in just a little over an hour later. They were flexible with my schedule, they installed the lights efficiently and without any dawdling, and again, they didn't try to upsell me on anything. No hidden charges, no checks written for things I didn't expect. The deal was the deal, and I got a great deal. I *will* be using them again for future projects.

They were very good. They worked very hard to deal with some difficult electrical issues I had. They did some additional work in repairing the drywall on my ceiling and the did an excellent job. They were very timely. They came exactly when they said they would.

Jose was very responsive to my request for service, scheduled and appointment and and actually came early. He was very professional in finding the problem, a difficult task. He continually explained what he was doing, to both me and the apprentice he had with him. I was impressed with his professionalism and the way he tutored his apprentice.

The work went fine. They arrived on time and very professionally covered their shoes to protect my flooring, did the work and cleaned up afterwards. Jose also offered to help me move the furniture back. I don't know why I waited so long to make this change in the bedrooms. It's great.

A little bumpy on scheduling, but once we set the date and time - the two man team arrived on time. They had to do a bit of cutting of drywall because there turned out to be obstacles where we had planned to install the lights and then the wall switch was blocked. It was amazing- that even with the cutting they were meticulous in controlling the drywall dust (really amazing I didn't have any dust to clean up). They were able to get the lights installed and kept me informed along the way on what they were doing. Thanks so much for recommending the LED light fixtures... We are very pleased with our lighting and the room. I would hire them again and would recommend them to others.

water was dripping into refrigerator from no visual site. the drain line was frozen and water could not drain from the freezer properly. He cleaned out the proiblem, added a tool that would help drainage. He answered all my questions and completed the job promptly.

Service was great. Jose was very good to work with. We had some bad luck scheduling as it rained every day we had it set up. Jose was very responsive and would always text or call me when he said he would. I will be using him in the future and will recommend him to family and friends.

Amazing! We are on a tight timeline with lots of different contractors coming in and out. We needed these light fixtures changed quickly so our painters could finish. Jose and his crew went out of their way to squeeze us in on the weekend, though we never felt they squeezing our job in. We were able to be flexible and he kept us informed of his schedule and likely arrival time. When they arrived, Jose ensured his team made maximum use of the time and they did a beautiful job in a very reasonable time period. Even took great care to figure out why our chandelier wasn't hanging straight, and corrected the problem. Cleaned up nicely as well. We will definitely use Courtesy Electric again!

The electrician was very professional, honest and patiently explained that the outlets were actually working. This was very unusual because he could have lied and 'fixed' something that did not need fixing. I would hire this provider again and also recommend their services to anyone needing electric service.
