Courtesy Electric did a fantastic job. Jose had 2 employees with him and it only took 1 hour to make the necessary cuts for the 6'" cylinders as well as replace the switch to a dimmer type one. Jose supervised the entire procedure as he had a trainee with him. My kitchen is now so bright; just like daylight! Love it!

Purchased a Deal of 2 Hrs Labor for $149.00. Jose was able to get me on his schedule within a week. The primary need was the garage outlet, but had him do the other work since he was here. Very nice that the owner/master electrician did the work.

Jose was prompt and arrived with a second person (which he had asked if I was OK with during scheduling). His associate worked on the light while Jose worked on the switches/outlets. Turns out I the outlets I had pre-purchased weren't child-safety compliant as required and he installed his own which was very much appreciated. Both he and his associate were professional, courteous, clean, and cleaned up after themselves. The 2 hours of labor split between two guys was sufficient for the work I had left to do in the house. Jose was also very flexible when I had to cancel/re-schedule my appointment at the last minute and fit me in later in the week. Thanks Jose!

Contractor hasn't come and do the job yet. We kept coordinating over text messages and last time agreed on meeting during the morning and called me around 1pm and I already had plans I couldn't change. I think this contractor has poor professionalism and I'm really disappointed. It's been since May 26th that we start coordinating and work hasn't been completed.

The fellow was very energetic and he knew what he was doing. Even though we couldn't fix the problem because one of the magnets in the system was outdated and what not, he explained how to take care of it when it comes and what not. We were satisfied with what he did. We had to call him two or three times, I guess he was busy. The day he said he would be there, he was there.

Everything turned out well. I was very pleased with the results.

I guess it is partly my fault for not asking up front, but upon paying for 2 hours of service, I was instead given 2 men for 1 hour each. Makes sense, but I would have likely not bought the deal had I known what I was asking would have to be fit into 1 hour of time. 2 men at 1 hour each usually does not equal 2 hours of one person - the old mythical man hour book at work. That aside, the amount of work covered in an hour was fine - but what I needed was ceiling fan troubleshooting - something that one person could do, and the 2nd person was likely a waste of time. It was determined that my ceiling fan would have to be re-wired in order for it to work as my circuit was found to be in working order. Good information, and definitely helpful, but I ended up doing all of the work myself in less than 2 hours to get it re-wired and re-installed. So, what I feel like I paid for was a $200 evaluation of my screened-in porch wiring. Helpful for sure, but I am not sure I would pay for the same deal again given my situation.

It turned out wonderful! They separated all the circuits for me and were very thorough. They followed up with me a week later to ensure I understood how the generator works. I am actually having them do more work for me in the future.

tusThe company showed up two hours late after calling and leaving messages to find out if they were coming out or not. They did not have my home address and had to ask for it again. Once the company actually showed up, the price to install the ceiling fan changed from $275 to $325. I was told the reason for the change in price was because I have a two story family room and instead of two guys installing the fan they would need the third person to stay and help hole the latter. I was told the 3rd person had planed to leave an give someone else and estimate, HOWEVER, I told them I had a two story family room when they quoted me the $275.00. One of the lights recessed lights over the fireplace was hanging down a little and they charged me $25.00 to push it back into place and putty over a pin hole next to the ceiling fan. the work was quick, efficient and the guys were nice and professional, once they got started and the work looked fine. The low rating for was for punctuality and changing the price once they arrived.

They did a great job. The fixture was for my dining room so they had to move my big, heavy glass table, remove the old fixture and install the new one. They were careful, methodical, polite and professional. They cleaned up afterwards and were very nice.

Absolutely professional. Always returned my messages. Accommodated a last minute request. Will definitely use in the future.

They were creative due to the space that they had to install one of the lights. Great Job!!!

Everything was great. We have an old house and it's full of electrical mistakes.

The provider was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He explained the problem and how he was going to fix both items. He listened to any concerns I had and advised me to contact him if I had anymore questions or problems.

The provider replaced a burnt out dimmer switch for the overhead recessed lights. The Provider was punctual, and knowledgable. He explained the bulbs wattage was too high for the switch and likely caused the switch to burn out. My only "complaint" was that the Angie's List Big Deal was $49 for the service call to include $100 applied to the bill which ended up being $120.00 for an hour's work.

It turned out great. The gentleman showed up, did his work. I had no issues there.

Used $49 Angie's list deal to have provider install an indoor outlet in an unfinished closet, as well as repair an outdoor outlet. Provider arrived 30 minutes late due to traffic, but was apologetic, courteous and professional. Two workers completed the work in about an hour. Charged me an additional $55 for electrical supplies installed. Am very happy with the work and price. I would use again, especially with an Angie's List deal as it was a bargain.

I saw this service provider's offer and called him (Jose) beforehand to see if what I wanted done (the offer was for 4 light in one room and I wanted 4 lights in a T-shaped hallway) was part of the deal. He said yes so I purchased the deal. We scheduled a couple weeks later for an 8 am start. The owner (and his co-worker) arrived 10-15 minutes early which was fine with me. They set up quickly and reviewed the job. On his advice, I had space (at 8 feet apart) for a 5th recessed ceiling light which was fine with me. We also discussed the pros and cons (cost, energy savings, length of use) with the type of bulbs (incandescent, CFL and LED) and decided to upgrade from incandescent to LED. They worked efficiently and professionally. The LED recessed lights (while more expensive) look great, are much brighter and will use a lot use energy. The sliding dimmer adjustment gives them even more functionality. I am going to upgrade all my recessed light from incandescent to LED. The owner does all his own work. I would definitely recommend him and will consider using him again the future.

Our only issue is that the final price was a surprise. There were separate charges for each hole drilled, each cut to drywall ceiling, and for each patch of those cuts. The workmanship is fine; I just wasn't expecting to write a check that big. I suppose it's my mistake for not getting a detailed estimate.

Jose was great. Team showed up on time and went straight to work. Before I knew it, fan was installed and ready to go. Would definitely recommend and use again in the future.

I used a coupon from an Angies List deal. Apparently my purchase "fell through the cracks" as I had to contact Angies List after some 3 weeks to find out why I had not been called. Jose, the owner of Courtesy Electric, thought he had contacted me and apologized for the miscommunication. He and an assistant arrived as promised within 2 days. They were both courteous and very professional. The work involved removing an outside light and replacing it with a new one. They also replaced an inside kitchen hanging light with a new chandelier base to which I later added all the pieces. The light looks wonderful but there is a bit of a jagged edge around the plate on the ceiling since this plate was smaller than the original one. Something I will have to fix myself. A bit disappointing since the last time I had a company in to replace lights, they repaired the ceiling to "better than new".

The technician was running late so he kept us aware of when he was going to arrive. When he came he took a look at th ejob advised us what he had to do and completed the task very quickly. We are happy with both fixtures. We plan on using this company to install our recessed lighting.

He was fantastic. Very polite, very professional.

These guys were awesome. Showed up on time and got right to work. Installed a light and rewired an exterior light to use a switch instead of light sensor that kept breaking. I would most definitely use them again. The Angie's big deal was $45 for the service call. They charged me $85 for the actual work, and I gave them a $15 tip.
