Replaced three entry door handles including new dead bolts.

Our front door had a half-inch gap that was allowing air and insects access to our home. It was also not closing all of the way. Contractor showed up early and got straight to work. He removed the front door off of its hinges and showed us that the old door sweep was basically disintegrated, which explains why we didn't know it was even there. He replaced it with a new one (brown and white colors only) which cost $50 and he installed it. It was worth the money as not only did it solve our door gap problem but it looks nice. Then he put the door back on its hinges and reset it so that it closed flush with the door frame. Unfortunately he gashed the door frame while putting the hinges back in the door; one deep and long gash behind each door hinge. Putting paste on it didn't help as they are clearly visible and very unsightly. He had some time left over so he adjusted our back screen door so that it didn't slam shut anymore and told us about the companies option of installing front screen doors If not for the door gashes I would have given straight As, but I think they were good enough that I would hire again. *UPDATE* It has been approximately 4 months now since the adjustment of the front door and with the coming of the winter comes also a harsh whooshing sound from under the front door. This is new and it makes our house sound haunted but not in the fun way. We have to constantly keep a towel behind the door sweep to keep the noise out. I have since downgraded the rating from A to C for both the gashes that were made which have now turned dark brown and the noise that is constantly coming from under the door. Now my wife wants a new door.

I was given an appointment time for 8:00-10:00a.m.on the first available date about two weeks from the day I called. Oscar arrived at approximately 8:20a.m. and finished at approximately 10:20a.m. I explained the repairs that were needed, and he worked diligently to accomplish them within the set time frame. He was courteous, tidy, and thorough, checking repeatedly to be sure the seal around the door was secure and that the door operated smoothly and correctly. I purchased the two hours of door work for $99.00 from Angie's list. The materials cost an extra $67.00. Both the storm door and the entry door work better than they did when we first bought our home. I would highly recommend this service!

They were very quick and very professional. I was going to try to hang the fans myself, but when I saw how professional and detail oriented they are, I decided to pay them to do it instead, and I am glad that I did! There were some issues with one of the motors on one of the fans, so they took it back down and replaced it with a different one that I had already purchased. They were very amiable and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. I will be hiring them for other jobs as I save the money to have them completed.

I got one of the Angie's list specials for $99 for $249 of work. They called 30 mins before their arrival and arrived at the proposed window of time 8 - 8:30 AM. We walked thru all the changes I wanted to make and they had great feed back on the best options. Instead of installing a hanging light fixture in the kitchen we added three recessed lights to add good light to the small dark kitchen. Victor & Sam were great, very friendly polite and they were always cleaning up after themselves to make sure the house stayed clean. They looked for opportunities to save me money in the installation process which allowed me the option to add in dimmer's to my new bright lights. They also followed up after all my light installation to see if the add'l drywall repair had been completed and or scheduled. I had a scheduled appt. for drywall repair but the technician got sick so they rescheduled it a week later at my convenience. I had made all my scheduled appointments w/Jose who is very professional and I felt valued as a customer. Luis the drywall specialist showed up promptly at 8 AM as scheduled and quickly worked thru all the drywall ceiling repairs and one add'l repair for a whole in my wall. Luis was thorough with his explanation and next steps of the repair as I wanted to get all the rooms painted and back to normal as quickly as possible. I knew the special wouldn't cover the cost but for the amount of work I had done. I had a little bit of sticker shock when I saw the 1st estimate but I appreciated that the technicians were honest with me and didn't charge me for work they didn't have to do once they starting pulling out the old fixtures. I would definitely use there services again.

I was very pleased with the work done by Courtesy Electric. They completed a complicated job with many stages in a short amount of time. All crew members were polite, cheerful, and worked with intense focus to get the job done. They clearly enjoy their work, and enjoy working with each other. When they identified some problems in my wiring, they gave clear explanations of the problems and offered alternatives for repair. They took care to clean up after each stage of the project. They treated both me and my house with respect. The only downside to calling Courtesy Electric is that the word has gotten out that they're really good, and it's hard to get on their schedule; but they're worth the wait! I am already working with Courtesy Electric to schedule some additional projects.

2 Courtesy Electric arrived well within the agreed upon time. 2 electricians installed the lights. They disconnected a unneeded switched outlet and used that switch for the 6 new lights. Work took less that 2 hours.

They came one day determined new hinges were needed which I agreed after they explained what was causing the door to hang low and very hard to close and lock. They ordered much heavier better hinges and replaced the old ones. The door works great.

It went EXCEPTIONALLY WELL! I was worried I was going to be strung along with reasons why the repair couldn't be performed in the allotted time frame. My experience was the exact opposite. The owner showed up to assess the job with his assistant (who actually did the work) and was pleasant and respected my time and budget constraints. I will definitely recommend them and will use them again.

I bought a big deal for this service and it was fine. The only thing is I would liked to know ahead of time was what the extra cost would have been instead of waiting to get to my house. There was an extra cost for what I wanted and it was rather expensive. The extra cost was well over $100.00. I just felt it was bait and switch. There are various costs to their service. I mean, they did a good job doing it, but it was more expensive than what I would have paid. Basically I just felt like they made their money regardless of the discount that was provided going through Angie's List. I think they were a little late.

I was very pleased with the service and professionalism of Victor and Sam. They arrived when they said they would, explained the work they would be performing and provided recommended light locations based on what the room was to be used for (artist studio). All the costs were explained and approved before work began The work was completed in less than two hours and included accessing a very tight crawl space above the room (flat roof house). It was a professional job executed in an excellent manner. After they cleaned up, there was no trace that any construction had taken place. I will definitely use Courtesy Electric in the future. OUT OF SERVICE - we purchased an Angie's List deal of the day for the installation of pocket lights. We have been trying repeatedly for over three weeks to get a hold of Courtesy Electric to set an appointment. Their telephone number is now out of service. Now I need to figure out how to get my prepayment refunded.

Took companies original deal to initially install front exterior light fixture. While here asked technicians to inspect fuse box and note any code violations or problems. Servicing of the main panel included: 1. Tightening of all grounded and ungrounded conductors which can loosen over time, 2. Tighten main service conductors, 3. Test all circuit breakers for proper voltage readings, 4. Inspect for poor workmanship conditions or code violations, 5. Undo double tap neutrals, 6. Apply d oxidation compound. Installed 3 new circuit breakers in fuse box and electrical switch for water heater. All work was adequately explained and approved before work commenced. I was pleased with the professionalism and how efficient the work progressed to completion. I would use this company again for electrical problems and recommend them to others. Further they make sure about getting back in touch with you concerning appointments and calling before they are arriving within the time frame window.

I purchased the 4 light coupon after discussing the additional $300 to be charged for the additional 2 lights. The surprise came when I was told there is an extra charge to add a j box in the ceiling. That was the reason I called to confirm the scope initially and was disappointed with the extra charge. I knew there would be drywall repair, but the amount of holes created to get this done seamed excessive (about 10). requiring another person to patch and paint (about $400). I would have been better off hiring a handyman that could do the entire job and for less. Additionally they did not have the dimmer to match the standard 'decor' switch so that was an additional task I had to do myself.. They did give me deduct of $30.

No contact, no return calls when I tried to contact them. A big lack in communication and very unprofessional to not return a phone call to a member who purchased a promotion through Angie's List.
