They did a great job. It was not the easiest in our condo ceiling, but they got the job done and I am very happy. They arrived on time and cleaned up before leaving. Will have them back for more work in the future.

It took months before they came. But, the person that came, did a very good job. But, the time it took to go back and forth with them about coming out, was a hassle. There was no additional cost. The work was good.

I Victor Figueroa, went to your house. You wanted me to install a Home Depot product (strip surge protector). I was telling you that there was a better system than that. Just by looking at your panel I saw 3 violations. You told me that you had 3 contractors, and that Nine of them never ever mane tinned the violations I found in your panel. Don't know what kind of contractors you have hired in the past, but anyone real electrician would of have said the same things I said to you. I even said that I am willing to install the product you bought, but that we would not warranty it, you got upset because you felt as if I was trying to up charge you. And that's not true I was trying to educate you so you can have an understanding as to what was going on in your panel.

Courtesy Electric came out initially to see where we wanted the installation of the lights. It was in a room that already had one recessed light so wiring already existed for project. They used an existing wall switch and provided a dimmer switch which, in my opinion, is NECESSARY for LED lights because they are ridiculously bright. Courtesy Electric mentioned there would be an charge of $40 if we wanted LED lights . That ended up being $40 per light so there was an upcharge of $160. The work was performed professionally and the lights work as intended.

Well according to this customer, she said that she left me Victor Figueroa, 4 messages. I assure you, if you leave me a message, I will listen to it, and respond with in the same day. The sad part is when I saw this review, I tried to call her and her number was disconnected. I ended up calling Angie's List to get some more info. Both numbers that she has on were disconnected. Now you explain to me, how am I suppose to reach you, if both of your numbers were not working. Angie's List members had a hard time getting a hold of you as well, you have 5 or 7 different accounts with them, with all different accounts. I finally had to send you an email, and you acknowledge that you gave Angie's list bad info!!!

Sam and J.R were very kind , knowledgeable and professional. I would gladly welcome them both to perform electrical services for me at any time. Unfortunately the same does not apply to the company management. They scheduled the initial appointment for installation and when the time came forget to put it on their schedule therefore having to delay the work and reschedule the appointment. My biggest gripe is not getting responses back in agreed upon time frames and then when I received a response it came with excuses. Any company should never agree to respond back to anyone by a certain day and then never do, it's unprofessional. It's not my job to keep trying to contact them for answers to questions because they are supposed to be providing a service.

I purchased the Angie's coupon that says installation of four recessed lights, including labor and parts. I am totally astonished by the way they do business and I suggest people to avoid them. When they arrived, I was told that the price does not include a leg switch installation, which is the wiring from the switch to the lights. I was shocked because this is like charging extra for ketchup when you buy fries. And they set the super-high price whatever they want. Installing four lights (labor+parts, > 3 hour work) is about $400, but a leg switch alone is $189.58 (it takes them less than 5 minutes to do it). They know people do not know the nature of the work and a lot of people especially women tend not say no in front of the people. They eventually charged me two leg switches (189*2, I still do not understand why there are two of them),another gang box (they claim there is fire hazard and safety concern, $235, takes them less than 10 minutes to do it), a dimmer switch ($35, the switch should be included in the coupon but they claim it does not apply to my switch, which is a very common switch). In total, I eventually spent about $1100 to install four lights ( it took them about 4 hours, close to what a typical installation) and left two big holes in my ceiling (I understand patching and painting is extra work from the beginning, I refused them to do extra work, they ask me for for $300 for patching the holes, I know they are going to bankrupt me very soon) Just for my curiosity and for my need too, I asked another company (LV electric) to install six recessed lights in another room, they came and did not ask for any extra charge. This includes the so-called "leg switch" and LV electric even patched the holes for me. I consider myself an easy-going and reasonable person and I do not expect the service cheap. I usually do not easily say no to people. But the tactics of this courtesy electric is very questionable. They pretend there is a great danger in your house ( at one point, I thought they need a whole night to finish their work) and then charge you a huge amount by doing less than 10 minutes work just because you do not know much about electric. I contacted Victor later about the pricing of my service, he said I orally accepted all the price so I can only blame myself. It is kind of true but they deeply disguised me. They claim their IPAD is broken so there is no written agreement. After the service, I immediately received their "coupon" asking me referring them to my friends so I can earn some small money too. This is also a questionable practice. If you do a good service at reasonable price, I will refer to my friends even there is no bonus. Now what I can do is letting them avoid this Courtesy electric as much as they can!

Dear customer, Let me start off by saying nothing takes 10 minutes. When my guys arrived at your home, they did a walk through with you, before they did any work! If you would read the fine print carefully it specifically says "coupon is for existing circuitry". If you did not understand that, then you should of picked up the phone and called us and asked us what that means, A switch leg is a wire that goes from the switch to the first light. You did not have a light in your ceiling. That's why we charge extra. It's not like buying fries, and you have to pay for ketchup. You are not comparing apples to apples sir! My guys found numerous of code violations in your home. They found live wires behind your walls, that did not have a junction box. We charged you a second switch leg to demo the old wires that were burning up, which my guys physically showed you, and re run a new wires. We did not charge you a demo fee. Second of all the coupon also says "does not include drywall repair" I explained all of this to you when we were on the phone. At the end of the day you wanted a great, professional service, at a very cheap price. We do not and will not operate in that manner. If we find a code violation or a fire hazard in your home we want to fix it at a reasonable price. The prices that we gave you were fair prices, not over priced as you say. I really don't appreciate when you try to compare my company to another company. The products that we use are all commercial grade products. If you would recall the electricians that you called to do the other lights, you told me that you hated there service because when they did repair your drywall you said "they left a mess", and that the patch work was poorly done! We gave you up front prices, if you saw that the price according to you was to high, all you had to say was no. Yet you allowed us to do the work, and then you bash us by saying that the prices were outrageously high.

Bought a $50 special with credit towards to $100 of actual work. Took a day off to meet up with the electrician but was told the set diagnosis cost was $375. Since my time was valuable and he was already here told him to go ahead with some reservations. It took him ony 30 mins to identify the problem and fix; it was loose wire in one of the upstream plugs. With $100 credit was charged $275. I was out $325 (including $50 or initial purchase) for a quick 30 mins of work. I felt like I've been had and felt like taking a cold shower. I believe in fair pay for a fair work and this wasn't it. Will not be doing business with courtesy again. Stay away from their idea of special.

We sent a professional electrician to your home. You could not figure out the problem yourself according to you. My technician gave you a price BEFORE we did any of the work. As a matter of fact when he found the problem he was able to prevent your house from catching fire, because a few month ago you hired a non electrician to run a wire to power your ceiling fan. We found a loose connection in your wall. It's not fare that we give you a price before hand, and you agreed to the price, and then you give us an F rating? If you did not like the price you could of simply said no. And to give us a C for quality, why would you give us that when we found the problem, and prevented your house from having a disaster? instead of being mad at us, be mad at the person you hired "to save money" who caused all this, and thank us for making your house safe.

It went great, these guys are awesome. They are very clean, brought drop cloths to cover everything in the room, used show covers to work, they let me know what all was going to happen, they used a template to trace where the lights would be installed and had me approve the location before any holes were cut, then they patched up everything (additional charge) but they even came back the next day to put an additional level of spackle on the ceiling so it was well patched. The owner was the one who came and did the patch up himself, to make sure I was satisfied with his guys work, it was a great experience, I will for sure use them again!

Overall service was pretty good. My initial service appointment was a no-show but when I called the manager after waiting all morning for someone to arrive, he was very prompt with calling back to arrange another service appointment. Only real disappointment was the fact that I had already paid for the $249 special to have the crown molding installed but it didn't include painting it. So, that would have been an additional $250 which seem extremely high considering that I was already charged an additional amount for being 12ft over what was covered under the special (so I was told). However, the workers were very nice and provided fast service.

They were okay. They showed up when they were supposed to. They brought two technicians and they did all the two hours between both of them, each one working on one door. They basically told me that they needed a lot more stuff and I should call up and make an appointment. It was a simple thing. They came to get the doors properly locked. They could have just told me, "Hey, don't waste your money on two hours. We clearly won't be able to fix it and you need five hours." But they didn't. So, I basically paid for somebody to come in and tell me that the two hours wasn't enough. The workers were nice.

I had to call them a few times to get them to come out. When they finally did come out they basically had adjusted their prices for Angie's List members who were using Big Deals. So if I were to pay them directly instead of going through Angie's List it would have been less. I didn't think that was good business practice so I decided not to use this company to do the work.

They were asking for too high. There was no additional cost to the deal. We have a light in the fan. If the fan switches on, the lights don't come on. You have to pull it to turn on. They wanted $900 to fix that so we declined. They have three people for a third of the time. The third person was doing nothing.

Now you know what you just said is not true sir! We had three guys at your house. I the owner was their. I had one guy installing the two outside lights. Which one of them did not even had all the parts. Second of all my second guy was there troubleshooting your dishwasher. That according to you,you hired someone that said the problem was the wire, and not the unit. My electrician found that the problem was not the dishwasher, and he physically showed you. I the third guy was walking with you about the fans. You wanted you fans to work off of the switches. We needed to run wires through the ceiling and add switches. We had to do this for 4 ceiling fans. You wanted to get this done with in the two hrs!! That was not going to happen too much work. So I gave you a price to do the work. $189.00 for four switch legs plus you wanted a switch for the fan, and a switch for the fan light. All this takes time. Sorry we could not come to an agreement. Ur you wanted a lot of work for cheap. You even offered to give me $20.00 do do all this work, which is an insult to me and my guys, since I am a master electrician, and my techs are certified. We would not do anymore work for you either.

We purchased an Angie?s List Big Deal for $99 that covered $249 worth of electrical services. We used the Big Deal to have an outlet installed. Victor and Sam arrived on time. They were polite, efficient and knowledgeable. They wore booties over their shoes inside the house to protect our floors, and they cleaned up after themselves when they were finished. The quality of their work was excellent. If I could I would give them an A+ in every category except price. In addition to the $99 paid to Angie?s List, we had to pay Courtesy Electric $231.89, bringing the total cost for one outlet to $330.89. Another company had quoted me a price of $250 to install an outlet in the same location, so the Big Deal wasn't such a good deal after all.

Pretty good! They called me with 24-48 hours. I was a little skeptical, they left a message. They said call us back but I did not hear anything for 30 days. So I called them and I spoke with the owner. I told him about the story and he got me scheduled. The guy came out and he was polite and courteous. He did a great job. Generally when they do a special, they get a tonne of responses and it takes them a while. Probably that is why it took them time. I thought the price was fair.
