Description of Work: We had two closets built in our bedroom out of empty space and a third reconstructed. We used these closets in all three and they are wonderful. The company was great to work with also. The only drawback is that they are expensive but I feel it was well worth it.

 + -1 moreWe had three companies come and provide designs and price estimates for storage. Closets by Design had the best design plan (although it wasn't dramatically different from the others) and their price was MUCH lower (by thousands of dollars). The representative brought samples of all the materials, which seemed to be higher quality than the other companies' materials. It all seemed to be too good to be true; better design, better quality, and a much lower price. The final product, however, is terrific. We are very pleased with how the storage unit looks and functions. There were a couple of minor glitches along the way, but the company was prompt in responding and took care of everything quickly and well. Would definitely recommend Closets by Design for anyone considering built-ins.
Description of Work: The company representative came to our home, listened to our need for more storage space, then designed shelving and cabinets to meet that need. The company then built and installed the storage unit (built-ins covering an entire wall in our family room).

Description of Work: Two walk-in closets were completely installed. Shawn came to analyze the project; provided options that varied by opulence and cost; and ensured that the company was available to install the desired work on a schedule that met our requirements.

 + -1 moreExcellent. I knew what I wanted and what I wanted to accomplish. The company president ended up making the trip to my house for the complimentary plan and estimate. I was highly improved with his attention to my needs, recommendations to get the most out of the space and keep costs down for me. We were able to build hanging side out to full depth available and, without looking strange, drop the next 2 sections back to avoid interfering with the window valance. By keeping the surface color close to the wall paint most people are greatly impressed by the storage and the fact that it doesn't detract from the overall space. Did have to be dismantled to re-carpet the room but was surprised that the carpet crew was able to pay careful attention to the pieces and reassemble with very little difficulty (though at lest 3 people required). Many commented as I intended....great selling point for this bedroom.
Description of Work: Build in wall to wall cabinets....hanging, shelving for shoe boxes and others, 3rd cabinet section with 4 drawers plus 4 open shelves.

We made several phone calls before we could get anyone to answer the phone. They finally called back to nonchalantly advise us the consultant was in New Jersey. We decided to cross them off our list since we did not believe we could then count on them to order, install, or service with professionalism.
