Bull Run Kitchen & Bath

It was excellent. They worked with us in coming up with choices for designs. And then spent considerable time with us going through all the options for cabinets, shower design, bathtub design and tile design. Execution was outstanding. They took care to keep things as clean as possible. Once again, they asked for inputs on those things that were not chosen exactly at initial design. And the people they had doing the work are very competent and took the time required for an impeccable job.

Using Bull Run Kitchen and Bath was a very good experience. The process was made easy by both the designer, Hakan, and Sam the project manager. The work done was excellent and the customer service was great. The few very minor issues encountered were taken care of immediately. I took my time on choosing some of the fixtures and hardware and Sam was very patient. Never did I feel pressure to make a decision. Richard and the other members of the crew were very polite and left the job site clean each day. I would use Bull Run K&B again and recommend them to anyone looking to remodel.

Our kitchen was a challenge since we wanted a bigger feel but no room really to go -- Hakan, Sam and team are amazing - not only did they spend hours going over designs but they responded to every question in a matter of minutes -- the kitchen was completed on time and on budget. We are beyond thrilled of the quality, professionalism and overall experience with Bull Run Kitchen. I have already recommended them to many and will continue to do so. --- Our kitchen was completed last year and I just called Sam the other day to get our cabinet fixed ( with the garbage and recyling) not only fixed it but replaced it --- no questions asked.--- He responded to me within minutes even after a year.

Everyone that we worked with was very professional and easy to work with throughout the duration of our project. Haakon helped us design our bathroom and gave us good advice based on our needs and wants. Sana oversaw the project and with Romero put the project into action. . If we had questions or concerns they were addressed immediately. The attention to detail was most appreciated and the quality of work was superb. We were also pleased that they cleaned up every day before they went home. In light of Covid-19, they took precautions to make sure that everyone was safe, including wearing masks and social distancing. This is the second project that we used Bull Run Kitchen and Bath and we were just as pleased with this project as the first one. In fact, we are planning to have them completed another project for 2021.

After having a service bar installed in the basement and two-and-a-half bathrooms remodeled in our present home, we contracted once again with Bull Run Kitchen and Bath Design to renovate/remodel our entire kitchen. We are again extremely pleased with the quality of workmanship and professionalism of the entire Bull Run team who coordinated and performed the renovations. The excellence of this work (especially so during the Coronavirus pandemic) was made possible by the professional kitchen design of Hakan Boke; the intense, close, and patient day-by-day oversight and coordination of all work in progress by Ahsanian ("Sana") Ferdow, and the dedicated installation team led by Orlando. Our new kitchen is stunningly beautiful! We highly recommend Bull Run for any home renovations and would hire them again for any future home improvements.

We are very satisfied with the excellent workmanship for this kitchen remodeling. Would we hire them again ? Absolutely! In fact, we are going to have them remodel our bathroom also. First, I like the fact that the contract was itemized and detailed. We had talked extensively with 4 other contractors before we finalized on Bull Run Kitchen & Bath. So there was a difference even in the professionalism and detailed nature of the contract. Our project manager, Sam, was extremely responsive. There had been delays and a few problems as there would be in any project. The difference in contractors is how they would deal with the problems and delays. In that respect, Bull Run Kitchen and Bath was very good and responsive. Sam went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and the project stayed on track. To the point where he had the countertop delivered late evening just to keep up the timeline so that we could see the kitchen 98% complete by the promised date. He made sure that the downtime was minimal so that we still had a fully functional kitchen very quickly. He cares that we have we are happy with the outcome of the project - both quality and timeline. Even though the job was small - condo kitchen - we were still considered as important customers. Workmanship is excellent. Love the kitchen! And the lighting is beautiful! The cabinet doors are good quality. The drawers are modern. The flooring is beautiful. We have received many compliments on our new kitchen!

We are recent homeowners, and the tracks on our kitchen trash bin cabinet needed to be replaced so I reached out to Bullrun Kitchen & Bath for the repairs. I initially spoke with Hasan who was very helpful and quickly connected me with a Project Manager, Sam, to assist me with the claims process. Sam is kind and very patient, and gave clear instructions on what measurements he needed to expedite the process. Materials were promptly delivered prior to installation. Throughout the process, I always felt that they were being very candid with me and really cared about the project. Since this was my first time dealing with a project like this, I was worried that it would be a stressful endeavor, but overall I had a wonderful experience working with Sam and Bullrun, and I am looking forward to working with them more in the future.

Rosario and his crew did an outstanding job. They arrived when they were supposed to, worked very efficiently, did a beautiful job and cleaned up after they were done. We would definitely hire them again.

The kitchen renovation could not have gone better! The workers at K&B are professional, creative, cost effective, polite and a pleasure to work with. The work was performed quickly, neatly and cost effectively . I will definitely use them again and recommend them highly.

Even though the project was necessarily delayed by several months because of the Coronavirus epidemic, but my project manager was able to reschedule according to my wishes. Once begun, the project continue uninterrupted until completion about three weeks later. The crew showed up every day at 8:30 and worked until about 4-4:30. They were extremely careful about cleanliness and left the house swept clean at the end of each day. The project manager was diligent in keeping me informed about progress, and he brought needed decisions to me when appropriate. From beginning, with the planning help of Hakan Bose, through completion under the management of Sana and workers Cesar and , the work was performed professionally, on time, and on budget. Bull Run Kitchen and Bath was the best remodeling firm I have had the pleasure of working with, and I have undertaken several remodeling projects over the past 20 years. Bull Run stands head and shoulders above the rest. The master bathroom is now a wonderful spa, which will be enjoyed for many years to come.

It went great! I contacted Bull Run Kitchen and Bath to let them know that the lights under our kitchen cabinets were not blinking. Orlando came out at no chanrge a year after our warranty expired and replaced the transformer. They didn't have to do that.

We can’t recommend Bull Run Kitchen and Bath highly enough. Our 80s kitchen desperately needed remodeling, but none of the contractors who came to see it and bid impressed us at all. Not true with Bull Run. We first sat with Tracy who created a mockup of our kitchen on the computer, helping us visualize and choose the elements, materials and layout that would optimize our kitchen’s look and utility. Once work began, Bull Run’s crews were friendly, super-professional and highly skilled. They worked tirelessly each day to bring the new kitchen to life and execute the design. They kept a clean and tidy work site and also protected us by providing a plastic barrier between the kitchen and our family room and by always wearing masks when in our home. Our project manager, Charlie, kept the whole operation running smoothly by keeping us in the loop with project overviews, informed on any issues that came up and what the crew work schedules would be. Our D- kitchen is now an A+ beauty. We will definitely be using Bull Run again for a bath remodel in the future.

Contracted for two bathrooms: one remodeled prior to pandemic shutdown; 3 months later contractor re-engaged and completed second bathroom; skilled craftsmen and attentive project managers ensured we got what we ordered; each time we encountered minor issues with the install and both times our concerns were addressed; only real complaint was that during the first remodel the take-down materials, including a bathtub, were left on our front lawn for several days before a truck came to clear the debris; the second team was much more responsive-different project manager, different crew; Note: remodeling always takes longer than you think

Overall it went very well. Covid19 hit before they could get started but as soon as they could they were here working. Everyone was very conscientious about wearing masks and social distancing. We were very impressed with all involved (Sana, Juan, Edwin, Lalo, and others)

It turned out beautifully! The designers at Bull Run Kitchen and Bath helped us select all the elements, and verified all our choices before starting the job. Sam, the project manager, stopped by regularly and kept us informed daily as to what was going to be done next. The workmen did beautiful work—truly artists! They were so NEAT, that there was no need to clean up after them, as they vacuumed and swept up every day when they were done. All the different craftsmen were scheduled so there were no delays. Everyone coming into the house wore a mask, and were very professional. We were very pleased with every aspect of the job, and would highly recommend them.

Hakan graciously took on our challenge to design and redo three bathrooms at a reasonable cost with a really fast turnaround for us to get our home on the market. He provided great insight as to what buyers wanted and worked within our budget. Sana kept the project on schedule and adapted to our expedited schedule with ease, working with the team to make sure they met my needs. Juan and his team executed the work seamlessly, even offerring suggestions that would work and look the best. This team went well above and beyond working through the weekend so all three could get done in such a short time. I had heard how horrible it would be to get all three done at once but it wasn't at all and they worked it out to make sure we still had use of at least one at all times. I am so happy with the results and can't wait to hire them again to redo three more bathrooms in my new 🏡.

Bull Run performed a MIRACLE in our master bathroom. I had interviewed several companies to partner with for this remodel - the first time I spoke with Hakan I knew we had found the right team. I had a specific vision of what I wanted our bathroom to look like and our project manager Sam, was really easy to work with. He had some great suggestions and helped enhance the overall design. Unlike other companies, Sam did not have any issue with me selecting my finishings with outside vendors (including a 1940's bathtub I had resurfaced). The real kudos goes to the construction team - Grover, Alex and Caesar, those guys are magicians! They arrived every day on time and were very respectful of our home. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, they came prepared each morning with their masks and were very sensitive to minimize contact in areas outside of the remodel. To this day I am still amazed at the small amount of dust that resulted from such a large project. Each day after work was complete, we met with Sam to go over the progress and he let us know what to expect next. I was so glad to have Sam as our lead of the construction team - his knowledge of material placement and finish assisted multiple times as the idea physically came alive in front of our eyes! I would recommend Bull Run Kitchen and Bath to everyone I know - I can't wait to work with them again!

Bull Run K&B did a fantastic job remodeling our kitchen which was original to the house and in much need of modernization. Hakan did a great job with the floor plan to add 30% additional work space with new cabinetry and awesome quartz countertop. We love the beautiful glass tile backsplash which extends from the counter to the ceiling, and surrounds two new gorgeous picture windows. Orlando and his team are highly skilled, punctual, and very kind people. Sam is a very responsive project manager and communicated well with the crew while our project was in flight. Our project was completed on schedule and our family is now enjoying cooking meals and baking bread together!!

It was great. On time, available for questions, safe and Respectfully socially distant due to COVID. Cleaned up daily, daily update of what was next. Would hire them again.

Bull Run Kitchen and Bath did an amazing job remodeling our master bathroom. They took pride in their work and absolutely cared about the customers’ happiness & satisfaction with their work. They were very professional and kept our house clean while the project was taking place. They addressed every concern we had right away whether it’s big or small. Sana, the project Manager was great. He made sure things were done correctly and that we are happy with the project. For example, Our bathroom was complete and the balance was all paid but we expressed to Sana that we were not so keen on an X mark on the vanity countertop. Sana informed Hakan who then came to check the final work and replaced the countertop because he wanted to made sure we ABSOLUTELY LOVE Our bathroom once it’s complete. We were blown away by their work ethics and standards. We were ecstatic & delighted to get the countertop replaced. We have never encountered any contractor that would be willing to loose money to ensure their customer was completely happy. Bull Run could have just walked away because the project was complete and money was paid up but they didn’t. Instead, they gave us a chance to pick up a new countertop and replaced it for us. Thank you Hakan and Sana!

I highly suggest getting Hakan and Charlie when hiring Bull Run. I would 10/10 hire them again if I got those two. They were amazing, passionate, professional, and thorough. They conducted walk throughs with me consistently, had no problem coming back through and adjusting things I didn’t like, and they treated me like the customer was always right. Charlie was constantly giving me updates and sending me pictures as work was completed, when they were planning on starting the next phase, and they delivered a very high quality product that they stand behind. My family would highly recommend Bull Run Kitchen and Bath! Our kitchen remodeling project took longer than usual because it got started right before COVID hit the country, which is obviously no fault of the business. I mention it because even though it was such an unusual circumstance, Sam, our project manager, worked so hard before and after quarantine to accommodate our family. He and the team were very sensitive to our needs and keeping us safe while also getting our kitchen done. Sam in particular was such a delight to work with during this project. He was extraordinarily responsive, warm, and always reassuring, which, as a first time kitchen remodeling customer, I very much appreciated. His team did a beautiful job and was very attentive to detail on our kitchen! I want to also mention Rhonn, who designed our kitchen. He was so patient with us and really listened to what we wanted. He also threw in a few deals, which was extremely kind and much appreciated! We absolutely love our new kitchen! Thank you all so much!

After we got all of our estimates, Bull Run was not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive. Bull Run was very responsive in providing an estimate and initial recommendations. They also had a wide variety of options for all aspects of our project. The design process went very well. Hakan showed us many options. 3D rendering software helped us visualize what our remodel would look like in the end. After we selected our flooring for the first floor and tile for the master bath, we selected our cabinet style and color as well as the countertop. We then had time to select faucets, cabinet hardware, lights, etc. The actual installation went very smooth and efficient. The crew put up plastic to help contain dust, etc. We remodeled both the kitchen and master bath at the same time. Juan and his crew had the expertise for this effort. The crew was very deliberate in their methods and took the time to do it right the first time. Sana and Juan also took our input as the project was progressing so there was no punch list at the end. The crew cleaned up each day which helped make our house a little more livable while the remodel was in progress. The complete project took 5 weeks…which is very good considering the amount of work that was completed. This highlights the expertise of Juan and his crew. In conclusion, we really enjoy our new kitchen and master bath. The new flooring really ties everything together.

I had looked at two companies, but Bull Run Kitchen and Bath had more selections and they listened to what I wanted, making suggestions but not insisting if I declined. Tracy offered a slight change in the layout which I had not thought of; Sana was my Project Manager in constant touch either here checking on the progress, or by text; Orlando and his staff were very efficient in the removal of old cabinets, prep work and installation of cabinets and appliances, but it is Rinaldo whose knowledge and expertise of the work involved that I give the most credit. At the end of each day, he would go over everything with me that he had done. As an aside, Sana saw a couple of the cabinet doors with flaws (unseen by me) and had them replaced. This is a first rate company interested in pleasing the customer.

Last year before we put our townhouse on the market, Bull Run Kitchen & Bath remodeled our 1990’s builder’s special kitchen. They were very helpful in tailoring the design to today’s buyers and working within our budget. We know from the comments that we received, that the kitchen was the major reason for why the townhouse sold quickly and for a good price. We were moving to a 55+ community and into a new build. We were very frustrated with the builder when it came to designing our new kitchen. There were only 2 layouts to choose between, with the main difference being the size of the island. Upgrading to a larger island, cabinets with soft-close drawers and knobs, and/or a nicer granite or quartz was going to cost a small fortune. And then they refused to guarantee that the granite on the island would not have a seam in it. So we decided, that in spite of the hassle, we would get the builder’s included kitchen and then go back to the team at Bull Run Kitchen & Bath and have them remodel the kitchen after we moved in. Hakan designed our new kitchen with us and spent time to make sure that we would be happy with the finished design. We always find his suggestions helpful, but not pushy, and he gave us plenty of time to think about what we really wanted before we finalized the design. It was clear that he wanted us to be happy with the result. We were especially pleased that Hakan understood how important it was to us to have an island without a seam in the granite. Since the granite would not fit around the corner in our stairs, he made sure that the granite guys would be able to use a forklift to lift the granite up to the second floor and over our deck to bring it in through the sliding glass door. Sam was our project manager and was great in keeping us informed during the work. He was also a big help with the backsplash tile choice and when we waffled on the size of the pulls for the larger drawers. Richard and his team did the installation. Richard was very good about asking us our opinion whenever there was a question about something. He and his team did fabulous work – the kitchen looks like it belongs in a designer magazine! And to top it all off, Richard and his team re-installed most of the builder wall cabinets (and granite countertop) in the garage for us to use as a work area. While we did the kitchen design before COVID-19 hit the US, the work was all done during the pandemic. Everyone was very careful to wear masks while they were in our house. And we were fortunate that it was cool enough most days to keep the doors and windows open for fresh air. We also stayed out of the kitchen when Richard and his team were working and also wore our masks when we needed to interact. Everyone was doing their best to stay safe and we appreciated the extra effort to do so. We would not hesitate to recommend Bull Run Kitchen & Bath for your kitchen remodel. We were very pleased with the result not just once, but twice!
