Being an older home, we did run into some unexpected surprises such as discovering two bath tubs (one on top of the other) and two layers of tile around the bathtub, on the floor, and on the half-wall. Hakan clearly has a lot of experience as he was able to advise us on how to proceed. The great thing is that Hakan did not nickel and dime us when it came to some of the surprises; some things we had to pay extra for after the job started but it was a minimal change. In the end, they worked diligently to get the job done and Hakan was always available by mobile phone and he came by almost everyday to check on the job. They used top quality products (all Kohler Forte fixtures) and I got to choose my tile from their showroom. I have an unusually small bathroom and I eventually found my own vanity but I'm sure I could've ordered that through Hakan if I needed to. I highly recommend them!

I absolutely love my kitchen now. Tracy and Hakan were so nice to work with. They offered a wide selection of granite and tile and we felt their prices were very reasonable. We had four companies bid to compare. I was most impressed with how fast the job was done ...7 days! Each contractor was very professional and I felt comfortable leaving them to work in my home. Great company that I will recommend to my friends.

I called several companies to get quotes on a master bathroom renovation. Most of the companies didn't call me back and the ones that did gave me quotes averaging from $15,000.00 - $20,000.00. I decided to have Bull Run Kitchen and Bath come out to give me a free estimate. Tracey Roach, the designer came out and took the measurements. The next day the Project Manager, Hakan, came out to give me the price and some design ideas. The price was $20,000.00. My initial thought was that's too much. After doing some research I found that the price wasn't too high or too low. The next day I went to Bull Run's showroom in Centerville. Tracey was patient and knowledgeable on the products. I picked out the tile and bathroom fixtures. They didn't have the granite that I wanted for the countertop. Hakan told me that I can go wherever I like to pick out the granite that I want. I ended up going to Best Granite and Marble in Springfield, VA. All of my bathroom fixtures came from Fergusons. I decided to go high end with the shower feature. I picked a shower component with six jets.I ordered my bathroom lights from Lamps Plus. They were expensive but beautiful. I bought the mirrors from Home Goods. I decided to keep my 10-jet whirlpool tub. Because of the size of the tub I decided to upgrade to a 75 gallon hot water tank vice the 50 gallon that was original to the house. I have to say that I am extremely with the professionalism of all the workers. They put plastic on the floors in the entryway of the house. They covered up all the furniture in the master bedroom.They did an excellent job of cleaning up behind themselves. I am very happy with the way my bathroom turned out. It looks very high end. Hakan and his team are professional and highly capable at their skill. I would use them again and I highly recommend them.

Bull Run was very professional, timely and developed a creative design. We will be including Bull Run again for our other upcoming projects.

The company was easy to work with. We received several quotes from various companies, all very close in price and the provider was the lowest cost. All quotes came in with very similar products. We had an extremely short timeline - 2 weeks to get it all done as it was a rental unit and we had renters scheduled to come in. They were available to come out to our rental the day after we contacted them and provided a quote the same day as they did measurements. They worked with us on the design and grade of marble, tile and cabinetry to be installed...working out the design was easy - done and material choices within an hour. During construction, existing plumbing and gas lines proved to be incompatible with our design (couldn't have anticipated this as it was covered by existing cabinets). The provider quickly informed us with a couple options and we had a way forward within the day. In this case - redoing the plumbing and gas line. All handled by the provider with a small adjustment to price During install, we accidently ordered the wrong size refrigerator but the provider caught the error when a local home improvement company made the delivery. The rejected the order for us and had it returned to the home improvement business where we were able to get a refund and order the correct size. They also recognized our existing garbage disposal was rusting out and even though we did not plan a replacement, they provided us one and installed it - within the price of our original quote. We are very happy with the design work, customer service and communication provided by the provider and would recommend them to others. Will get new quotes from them in the future when we redo our rental baths!

Bull Run did a terrific job on my kitchen. They started on the day the day they promised and finished in 7 working days, well ahead of their projected two weeks. I have a relatively small kitchen in a small townhouse and had never done a kitchen renovation. Friends had told me their horror stories about time and cost overruns on kitchen renovations, but I did not experience any of that. The Bull Run team was extremely competent, very professional and easy to deal with. They took pains to clean up at the end of each day's work and were respectful of my home. I checked in with them every morning and voiced any questions or concerns I had, and they asked me about any details as the work progressed. The team made several suggestions that I had not considered, all of which added to overall kitchen and will help with resale value in the future. When I was unsure about how the backsplash tiles would look with the granite counter top, they made a special trip to preview my options on the backsplash wall so I could really visualize it. Between the excellent quality of their expected work and extras like that, I would highly recommend them. I will certainly use Bull Run for my planned bathroom renovation in a few months.

I cannot express in words how happy we are with the wonderful job they've done to our bathroom. We didn't want to spend too much money renovating the small bathroom in our condo and we hesitated to work with other contracotrs simply on the high quotes they were givine us. Although comparable in price, we picked Bull Run Kitchen and Bath because of the quality service we recieved from the very begining and we are happy with the choice we made. Kudos to Hakaan and his team for producing such quality work. Some highlights of the renovation are as follows: 1. There was mold that was unpectedly found under the bathtub. Hakaan and his team immediately took action to remove the mold. This set back our timeline by a few days but was worth it to get rid of the mold completely. The Bull Run team's did a great job at containing and treating the mold. 2. The glass shower. We love all the materials and fixtures that we chose. They all came together beautifully. But our most favorite is the sliding glass door to our shower Hakaan recommended. Our bathroom is now a serene space for us to enjoy! 3. The tile work. My husband and I are very impressed with the attention to detail when it came to the tile work. We requested very specific positioning of the tiles and at first we were skeptical that they would get it right. But they proved us wrong. The shower tiles were stacked evenly while the floor tiles were placed in an uneven pattern - they know what we mean! ;) The cubby hole in the shower for the shampoo was also the correct height to accommodate our extra tall conditioner bottle. If you need some extensive tile work, these guys are the way to go. 4. Ad hoc requests. We requested the screw height that held down our toilet be cut a little shorter. Simply cut and (expected to be covered). There is a big hole in the wall under our sink that serves as an access to the water valve. We wanted some kind of a cover for it that still allowed us access to it. Hakaan fashioned a cover that allowed us to unscrew it whenever we needed access to the water valve. Handle to the shower door switch to one side. Hakaan simply switched the shower handles. It's great to have a contractor who listens to your wants and needs and can think of a functional fix for each one. :) Also would like to mention the attention and care we recieved from the Sales team, Tracy Roach. He provided his expert opinion on the materials and fixtures, tapped into his resources to get us the exact items we wanted and was extremely helpful in the design process. Cons: Of course a well rounded review is not complete without it's cons. ;) So here a couple of minor things that we would have liked to have seen. 1. Maybe I've been watching too much HGTV, but it would have been nice to see a contractor rendering of the design on a computer. We were emailed a model but it was a simple design and didn't really capture all the materials and fixtures we picked out. This was not a big deal to us because the actual work that was done is what mattered. But it would have been nice to see a computer model of our design to give us something to look forward to. :) 2. The timeline was a little off. We were expecting a two week renovation but it lasted for about three weeks. The unforeseen mold issue probably contributed to this. Again, no big deal for us because we had the gym to use for morning showers and we had full use of the toilet for most of the time. We would rather have them do it right the first time than rush. We've had this same bathroom renovated before (this is the second time we've had to reno this bathroom because the first cotractor did such a poor job) and they did a rush job and produced poor craftsmanship. We didn't want that to happen again.

Bull Run K&B demonstrated the highest degree of professionalism responding to all of our requirements and using the highest quality materials. They were very professional and gave me great confidence from the beginning that I was going to have a high quality service from them. They were able to come and do a price quote very quickly after I contacted them. I wanted the project completed quickly and they were able to start very soon after I signed the contract. Because I wanted it done quickly I decided to use a showroom approach, so that I could go to one location and look at what they had and "check off the list" of what I needed at one time. The quality of the materials at the showroom was great, a lot of options, and I love the results of the floor and shower tile. Then when they were going to start the project people came to the see the room, measure, and give me some confidence in what was going to happen next. The demolition happened in one day including taking away the garbage so I didn't have to see my tub sitting in my backyard. They worked at my house without me being there and I trusted that completely, they were very neat and I had very little clean up afterwards. They listened to my concerns and questions and everything I asked for they did. When I didn't like the threshold they put down they changed it right away. They also did small touches for me like replacing the doorknob and things that weren't on the original list. They were helpful in suggesting things that I might not have realized, for example I wanted a curved shower curtain rod but the space in my bathroom didn't really accommodate that and they were honest in telling me that. Hakan, who was the project manager covered everything that I needed to think about and was very responsive by email or phone. The finished result is beautiful and they were done in two weeks. The only thing that I will caution is that there were days when they said something would be done and I would come home and they weren't done, usually due to waiting for a custom piece like the granite or if the person doing the service that day, like the plumber, was working somewhere else and the work ran long. I was concerned about this but they communicated back to me right away about why it happened, and what would happen next. But I would encourage constant communication in any project like this and even if there is no delay, you should just keep communicating. As I said, they were very responsive. I would also recommend that you do clear space for them to work around the bathroom, I moved all of the furniture out of the way because I didn't want them to move it, and it worked out great because they did need the space. I am very happy with the results and would work with them again and recommend them to my friends.

I was looking for a local remodeler. While searching through Angie's List, I came across Bull Run Kitchen and Bath. I decided to stop by their showroom since it was in the area, Bull Run Plaza. I was very happy to see a wide range on selections. They have lots of new styles and colors that I haven't seen anywhere else before. Our designer Tracy was very helpful and knowledgable. He is a great listener. Definitely gave me time to explain what I was interested in. He is also great in providing ideas depending on your taste that are worth considering. Our project manager Hakan is definitely experienced and knows what's going on. He was very professional and on top of everything. He's able to oversee the issues and work to fix or prevent it. He was a great help to us and the workers! We are very happy with our newly renovated Master Bathroom. I recommend these guys to anyone looking for a changed in their home.

This company is utterly fantastic. I gave them my budget constraints and they designed a new kitchen for us right on budget. The estimate was done quickly and professionally and Tracy offered many ideas that we had not even thought about. When we went to the showroom to select the cabinets and tile he was extremely helpful and willing to work out any detail no matter how minute. The estimate and selection of materials was easy. I was given a date when the work would begin and they adhered to that date! Once we got ready for construction Hakan personally visited us and told us what to expect, timeframe, and projected finish date. Once the work began he visited almost every day to see how the sub contractors did that day and to ask me if I had any questions or concerns. He was very hands - on and gave us the best customer service experience we have ever had. The sub contractors made sure the did not make a mess and vacuumed everyday, cleaned up their mess and even put down tarps on the floor to make sure they did not dirty up the carpet and floors. The subs worked efficiently and professionally at all times. I could not believe how well coordinated the whole project was. They finished a couple days earlier than I expected and Hakan visited me the day it was completed and made sure I was 100% happy with the work which I was indeed!!! It was a wonderful experience dealing with this company. They are not satisfied until the customer is 100% satisfied!!They only use top grade materials and their sub contractors are 100% professional. The kitchen and powder room are beautiful beyond our wildest dreams. I highly recommend this company.

Our Bull Run Kitchen & Bath (Bull Run K&B) designer was Tracy, who came to our house to work up an estimate. Tracy was easy to talk to, listened to our wants, and gave great suggestions. Tracy came up with a design to make the best use of the available space to address our needs, and he added special touches that gave the bathroom and vanity area class and elegance. What we also liked was the selection of tiles, granite, lights, cabinets, etc. in their showroom. While Bull Run K&B will install anything you want installed, it is so much more convenient to be able to get everything in one place. The estimate was competitive compared with other quotes we received; after looking at their previous reviews on Angie's List we went with Bull Run K&B. Hakan was the project manager. He came by daily to inspect the work, was easy to communicate with, and was quick to resolve any issues that arose. The workmen were professional and respectful of our home. They asked us how we wanted things done while the project was on-going, and they seemed genuinely concerned with getting it done right. While the working, the workmen were conscious about keeping the house clean, always putting down drop cloths and plastic from the door to the work sites. Overall, they did a great job. We would not hesitate to go back to Bull Run K&B for any future projects that come up, nor would we hesitate to recommend them to anyone else.

I found them from Google. When I called them first time unlike other businesses they were impressed me with their professionalism. Instead of "making a deal" immediately Mr Hakan actually listened to me and understood my needs and my budget. Mr Hakan offered me free in-home quote with no financial obligation. Mr Hakan came to my home the very next day and gave me the quote that I can afford. I was more impressed during the actual remolding process. They were very polite and took care of my home just like it's there home. I am extremely happy with them. For everything they did for me. The bottom line is high quality work with affordable price. I would defiantly recommend Bull Run Kitchen and Bath to anyonewho needs kitchen and bath remodeling.

The kitchen had walls removed, new hardwood on the the first level and the hall way and one bedroom upstairs. Gorgeous Granite - love his Granite guy!!!!! Built wall for my double door fridge and cabinet. Remodeled main level half bath Added vents that didn't exist!!! Fans in most rooms and new recessed lighting. Moved doorway for hall bath and made more room for a walk-in shower/no door just glass. Master bath was totally gutted and rearranged to accommodate a walk-in shower/no door just glass and a tub, double sink with granite than ran the length of the wall Built a new closet in the Master Bedroom where there was wasted space. I would highly recommend this company.......

From the moment we contacted the company to inquire about updating our kitchen we were helped and assisted with our decision making by a very knowledgable salesperson. All details and multiple questions were addressed prior to remodel starting. So when work started things went as discussed and outcome was fantastic! Hakan was the project manager for our renovation. Each detail was explained thoroughly. I interviewed several home improvement companies in the northern Virginia area; none matched the knowledge of product information and costs of construction for completely renovating my kitchen. Architectural renditions were exact to specifications;no last-minute changes had to be made. Prior to the beginning of the renovation, costs and date of completion was discussed along with a time line dedicated to the selection of cabinets, floor, tiles, lighting fixtures etc. The crew assigned to my project were courteous, quick, clean and put materials away each day. I never had to worry about the rest of the house being a dust bowl or cleaning up foot prints. I would highly recommend Bull Run Kitchen and Bath.
