We are very happy with Bull Run Kitchen & Bath. We had our kitchen remodeled and also had some hardwood flooring installed. I had a few competitors come out for estimates in which we felt Bull Run K&B had a fair quote and great customer service. Their products were very impressive at the showroom. Matt as our Kitchen Designer/Project Manager was very responsive and very helpful throughout the process. He was patient with answering our questions and concerns and made the process as easy as possible. We were very impressed with the quality of their products and their workmanship of their contractors. The hardwood installers seemed to go above and beyond to ensure the floors looked perfect. I would highly recommend this company to my friends and family. Those that have seen the new kitchen and floors are very impressed with the job. I can now say I have a beautiful kitchen. When it comes time to do some updates on my bathroom I will definitely call them.
Description of Work: Remolded kitchen which included demo, new cabinets, new counter tops, back splash, sink, lighting, and flooring in kitchen (Tile). Also had hardwood installed in dining room and hallway, tile in entryway/foyer.
Bull Run Kitchen and Bath is an excellent company that strives to make sure their customers are satisfied. My kitchen renovation was unplanned and done more on an emergency basis. I was extremely unhappy with the first contractor I hired and cancelled the remaining contract. As soon as I vetted Bull Run Kitchen and Bath to complete the work, I knew they were going to be great. They listened to what I wanted and they respected my budget. Not having been through a renovation of any kind before, I valued their straightforward feedback on what would and wouldn?t work in my space both from a functional and a design perspective. Their workmen were very professional and courteous. The entire project exceeded my expectations. I?ve already recommended them to family and friends.
Description of Work: Completed a kitchen renovation, including drywall repair, painting, granite counter tops, back splash, lighting, and appliance installation.

My wife and I have been contemplating for quite some time a major remodel of our kitchen which didn't work well for our lifestyle and family. When we finally decided to take the plunge, we researched a number of local contractors, spent time meeting with them, and understanding what could be done and, of course, at what price. We were fortunate to already have a design done by another party which included the removal of the wall between the rooms and the cabinet layout, so it was a good way to assess pricing across the final 3 providers whom we selected. Of the providers, Bull Run was the last one we had visit our house for the initial measurements and they suggested we stop by their showroom afterwards to choose finishes and discuss the project. We went a few days later and was pleasantly surprised that they already had a 3D rendering of our Kitchen for our discussion and they were able to accommodate some minor changes to cabinets / inserts / etc while we were picking out the remaining materials for the project. We had such a great experience and found the pricing to be very competitive with the other bids that we ultimately decided to move forward with them while we were in-store. Matt was very good about not pushing us towards particular products but trying to understand what we wanted and what kind of budget we were trying to hit. They began work roughly 2 weeks later at which point we met the foreman John and his helper who would stay with us throughout the rest of the project. Both Matt and Hakan visited regularly, especially during the removal of the load bearing wall, to oversee the progress and make sure that everything was being done correctly. They did discover some issues with the framing/support once they removed the drywall but it was fixed without any questions and they didn't try to charge more for doing everything the right way which was much appreciated given experiences some of our friends and family have had with contractors trying to nickle and dime you with every change. At the onset the team told us it would be 3 weeks of total work which we were concerned with giving our toddler but they delivered and we found it to be surprisingly manageable during this period. When it's all said and done the team did a fantastic job and the kitchen looks amazing! My wife and I are very pleased with the work and perhaps the best testimonial to what a great job Bull Run did is the fact that we will be contacting them again in the future to remodel our master bathroom!

Working with Hakan and his team was one of the best experiences my wife and I have had with any kind of home contracting service. We initially contacted Bull Run Kitchen and Bath as part of our research into local companies to simply get new flooring and counter tops. Hakan was very responsive and had great suggestions for us after getting an idea of what we wanted. There was absolutely no pressure to do more or get something that we did not want and Hakan encouraged us to check with other companies to see how Bull Run compared. My wife and I continued our research and ultimately returned to Bull Run given our experience with Hakan and team as well as the price estimate that was provided. While researching, my wife and I decided to get an estimate on a full kitchen remodel and not just flooring and counter tops. After he came out to the house to measure and get an idea of our kitchen layout, Hakan spent several hours with us in his showroom showing us different options for flooring, counters, cabinets, etc. Hakan has a great sense of design and kitchen workflow and created a custom layout/design based on the things my wife and I wanted. The design took advantage of unused space in the kitchen and now we actually have open counter space and cabinet space that is not overcrowded and even has empty shelves. The cost estimate was quite reasonable given the quality of materials that we would be using and was below what we had been quoted from other companies. Hakan made the process of deciding both easy and fun and my wife and I were very pleased. One of the best parts of working with Hakan is that he does not start jobs/give a start date until he has confirmation that all materials are available. This helps to ensure that his install teams will not be delayed and that we would not be without a kitchen for an extended period of time. The original goal was to have the kitchen done within 10-20 days and Hakan indicated that he felt it could be done within 10-14 days. I am happy to say that the full renovation was indeed completed within 14 days. This was all done mainly by two installers, John and his helper. They too were great to work with because they answered all of my incessant questions professionally, pleasantly and with great patience. Additionally, they always showed up when they said that they would and had the materials needed for that days work. Both were also very detailed in their work and the results certainly show this attention to detail. During the whole process, Hakan stayed in touch with us via text messages and by stopping by several times to check on the work being done. Whenever my wife or I had a question for him, we simply texted him and he would typically respond within 15 minutes. The only issue that we had was that the under cabinet lighting stopped working on the same day that the electrician installed it; however, I contacted Hakan the next morning and the electricians came out again later that day and resolved the issue. What more can I say about Hakan and Bull Run Kitchen & Bath? The best endorsement that I can provide is that my wife and I would have no problem using their services again in the future nor would we hesitate to recommend them to our family and friends! Thanks for everything Hakan!

Great! First, let me start by saying that I looked at quite a few contractors for both pricing competitiveness, selection, availability etc and Hakan and his crew (including Chris) were absolutely incredible in getting our job done on time and within the agreed budget, and it only took 3 days, Again, done within the time promised. Their pricing is very competitive. I almost went with someone that quoted less, but when he couldn't even produce a contract or invoice upon offering a down payment, I decided I needed to keep looking around and man I am SO glad I did! From the first visit to their store thru the last exchanges both in person and on the phone, this store/contractor is awesome! There is no pressure to buy anything that you don't want, they answer your questions and their professionalism is top notch! Hakan's attention to detail and wanting to do the job right the first time is something you don't always see these days. There were no shortcuts taken. the old flooring was completely removed, and prepared for the new tile. Even in the space under the appliances, time and care was taken to ensure that the tile and grout work is excellent. All of the tiles were spaced evenly and repeatedly checked for level. The grout work was great as well, and done given care to make sure that it was spread evenly. Daily trash pick ups were made so that no debris was left out in the yard over night. This helps a lot with areas that have HOA's and HOA representatives that like to nit pick over stuff beyond your control. I don't want to leave out Carlos either because he was very important to the overall remodel process and was onsite doing the flooring and plumbing reinstallation. The granite counter tops are AWESOME! During the scheduling process, Chris made an appointment for the following weekend to meet with us at a local granite slab supplier to pick out the slab(s) to be used. The first supplier, while having a lot of choices and a nice facility, didn't have the color we wanted, so Chris took us to a second INCREDIBLE warehouse that had an extensive granite slab selection to choose from. Chris was very helpful and knowledgeable about the options available and worked with us to help us locate and choose the slaps for the countertops. His flexibility and being punctual at the beginning of the project made a good lasting impression of the overall work ethic this company strives to maintain. The granite fabricators showed up on time to take the measurements, measuring twice for every piece to make sure they were cut correctly. The granite installation process, again, done during the 3 day kitchen makeover, went very smoothly. The new countertops fit perfectly, they are beautiful. The workmanship and again, attention to detail are excellent! After the countertops were done, Carlos installed the new faucet and garbage disposal the same day so that we could begin using the sink right away! I would not hesitate at all in hiring Bull Run Kitchen & Bath again for any future projects. The fact that they were sensitive to my timing needs, willing to work with me to help minimize the time I needed to take off of work to be home, and their respect for my house and property speaks volumes about the quality of their work. These guys rock!

Bull Run K&B can be a one-stop shopping experience for bathroom renovations. The cabinets and fixtures on display in the showroom are of high quality: for example, real veneer over plywood rather than particle board for the cabinet enclosures with dovetailed solid wood drawers and quality granite vanity tops. However, Bull Run also allows the customer to order items independently for installation by their crews. We chose to order specific faucets, lights, and over-sink medicine cabinets from online suppliers. Matt both provides cogent design advice and then also manages the actual project through to completion. He was very responsive to our wishes and did not try to convince us to select high cost options when we were interested in selecting moderately priced alternatives. Matt was able to schedule the project when we wanted to begin, and he ensured that the project was completed within the promised time frame (about three weeks from start to final tweaks). Carlos conducted the actual tear-down and installation with some help from assistants. He was a proficient jack-of-all-trades who did everything from cabinet installation, to tiling, to plumbing, to installing the new bathroom lights and fan, to carpentry, to hanging a new door. Matt and Carlos were extremely responsive to our every request for tweaks and small corrections, whether it was fixing minor flaws in the finished grout, straightening doors or drawers. or replacing a cabinet door which had arrived with a factory defect. The biggest fix was modifying a cabinet which had to be sawed and trimmed by about 3 inches to fit its space comfortably. Matt ensured that the modification, which also required ordering and installing new rails for the drawers, was done to our satisfaction. The crews were careful to put down drop cloths to protect the floors and stairs between our entry door and the project areas. Trash from the project was removed promptly. Bull Run K&B is clearly a responsive, customer-friendly business. It provided a high quality renovation on schedule and on budget, and at what we considered to be a reasonable price. Overall, we would rate the performance and the value of Bull Run's service as excellent. Special thanks go to Matt and Carlos.
Description of Work: (1) Fully renovated master bath, including replacing tub with tiled and glass-door shower enclosure, new cabinet, new vanity, new sink, new faucet, new toilet, and tiling of walls and floor. (2) Simple vanity, sink, faucet, cabinet, and toilet change-outs in 2 other full baths and one powder room.

Our rental property had a grease fire incident in the kitchen which resulted in enough damage requiring an emergency kitchen remodel. Bull Run Kitchen and Bath was one of 4 or so companies in the area that I reached out to for immediate quote. I worked with Chris at BKB for the initial aspect of quote and contract finalization. He was very nice to work with, and very patient and responsive to the many questions I had for him. He promptly gave me a date for the property visit for initial assessment and quote. I was managing the project remotely from another state, but he was very understanding of this and patiently worked with me and my tenants. Since it was a rental property, I informed him that we wanted good, durable materials but weren?t looking for something very high end or custom made. He gave some very good suggestions and tips to accommodate this request and our budget. Chris sent me several pictures of various components with pricing via email for me to be able to make decisions on the final look. BKB was the final company we went with due to 2 main factors 1) they were able to start and complete the job earlier than others 2) they gave a very competitive quote (not the lowest, but good none the less). And the comfortable feeling I got while working with Chris was a factor as well since I needed to be able to trust the company to complete all the work we agreed to without me being able to check on them in person. After the contract was finalized, Matt took over the project. He kept me informed on cabinet availability and install time frame on a regular basis via phone calls and texts. This helped me coordinate appliance delivery timing etc to make everything smooth. The crew was very timely in coming in for the job and swiftly completed the tasks. Matt sent me pictures on a regular basis to keep me posted on the progress and also how everything was coming together. When a few unexpected issues came up, Matt would call me right away with details on what the issue was and what solution existed. I was very happy about this. All in all, I was nervous about undertaking something as major as a kitchen remodel from across the country, but the Bull Run Kitchen and Bath team made it fairly painless for me to do so by meeting the timelines we had agreed to and keeping me in the loop with regular updates, with great results at the end. I would definitely work with them for any future projects I have.
Description of Work: Demo and remodel of kitchen - cabinets, countertops and appliances.
We are totally happy with our beautiful new master bathroom and found the whole experience of working with Hakan Boke and Bull Run Kitchen and Bath (BRKB) to be absolutely great. Our new master bathroom tile shower, floor, and walls are elegantly beautiful, and amazingly functional. Hakan has a true talent for design! Right from the initial consultation visit with us at our home, Hakan was very knowledgeable and really easy to work with. He asked good questions to figure out what we wanted and made great suggestions on different options. The second step was a visit to BRKB showroom where we were expertly guided through all the design and material elements for each bathroom on a wall mounted 3-D CAD display. Hakan patiently guided us through the selection of each element (tile, fixtures, vanity, drawer handles and granite) for each bath. He even treated us to cappuccino to ease the tedium of this process! BRKB drew up a complete contract with us that was straightforward and clear, with all costs identified by bathroom, so there were no surprises. He had complete information about all the materials they would use for each room. Hakan brought the final contract to our home, which was duly executed and the project was on its way. The schedule called for the bulk of the work to be completed within two weeks of demolition, with the single exception of the glass installation for the glass shower which could take up to 10 days. We were luckily surprised when the glass arrived ready-to-install within three days of the completion of all other elements of the master bath. Hakan, Juan (his on-site manager) and the entire crew that works for BRKB are professional, hard- working, experienced, and just nice people to interact with. Hakan and Juan were in touch with us every day during the project, so we always knew what was going on and what would be happening the next day as the project progressed. BRKB did all of the work detailed in the contract and much more. Our master bath had a history of shower stall repair, including replacing the backer board and replacing rotted studs. So as BRKB worked on the master bath remodel, which involved flip flopping plumbing fixtures from one side of the room to the other, they just fixed whatever needed reworking. We were really impressed by how they solved every problem, and really appreciated that they did it all as part of the fixed price contract. In fact, the only deviation as to price was for the completely unforeseen replacement of the main house electrical panel, which we had been made aware of by several repairmen over the years was inferior and posed potential safety concerns. Hakan?s electrical team came to our aid once again with a high quality replacement at a reasonable price. In summary, the tile work is beautiful, a work of art that was completed with a lot of attention to detail. We now have three elegant bathrooms, each one containing its own unique, high end finishes, i.e., beautifully coordinated tile, fixtures, lighting, handles/knobs, vanity and fresh paint. BRKB kept the work area and our house amazingly tidy while working too, which was both professional and considerate. It was easy to tell that they took pride in their work. Remodeling three bathrooms was a big deal for us. In the end, the completed project exceeded our highest hopes ?all three are truly awesome bathrooms now!
Description of Work: Our bathroom project entailed renovation of 3 bathrooms: (1) the complete demolition and redesign of our master bathroom (new footprint), as well as (2) he demolition and remodel of the upstairs hallway bathroom and (3) the main floor powder room (same footprints). The master bath portion of the job included complete demolition of our master bathroom, including moving a wall, removal and replacement of the old bathtub with a new soaking tub and a separate, spacious frameless glass shower enclosure complete with seating and rain-head fixtures. This also included new floor and wall tiles and relocation of the master bath double vanities, replacement of the original side mounted medicine cabinets with recess-mounted, mirrored and framed cabinets, and perhaps best of all, heated flooring.

This review only covers the in-home estimate stage. Bull Run Kitchen and Bath came out and did an estimate to redo our bathroom. They were professional, on-time, polite, and didn't make me feel like they were trying to upsell or push anything too hard. I would completely recommend them based on the in-home estimate. So why did we go with someone else? I happened to get a second estimate from another company--they came in at right around Bull Run's price. The only difference is that my husband and I were able to schedule an appointment at their showroom before seeing Bull Run's showroom. My husband is either very indecisive or decisive. (He once spent 3 hours at a big blue and yellow store choosing a desk lamp.) He decided he liked the other company at their showroom and nixed seeing Bull Run because he didn't want too many options. I jumped on it before he changed his mind. So really, the fact that Bull Run didn't get the sale was just luck of timing and scheduling. I would recommend them.

After getting several estimates and then seeing my neighbor?s beautiful kitchen renovation done by Bull Run Kitchens and Baths, my husband and I decided to go with Bull Run for the kitchen redo on our 27 year old home. I still liked my ?old? kitchen, but knew that it needed updated. With Hakan and team?s assistance, I was able to pick out new cabinets, flooring, backsplash, and countertops in their showroom that I am very happy with. Hakan came to our house several times and worked patiently with me as I decided to remove the peninsula and go with a larger center island. I struggled with the best width and length for the island, wanting to keep a good traffic flow, and in the end it came out ?just right.? Hakan also listened to my suggestions and incorporated them into the design. As senior citizens I wanted the kitchen to work as we ?age in place.? The new kitchen was designed to make our lives easier as we get older, with cabinet pull-outs, better lighting, etc. I have received many compliments on my new kitchen. Hakan was always accessible via phone or email to answer my questions throughout the project and even stopped by the house occasionally to ensure the project was going satisfactorily. Our project began on time and the work was completed within the time frame given to me. The cost of the total project remained the same as we agreed upon in the contract, even though a few changes were made at our request. Juan and crew, the electricians, the countertop guys, the tile guys were all skillful, hard working, professional, and cleaned up at the end of each day. Overall we are very happy with the work done by Bull Run. We are now beginning to consider redoing our master bath and would not hesitate to hire Bull Run again.

Bull Run Kitchen and Bath did an outstanding job for us at a very competitive price. Our project encompassed a complete remodeling of our master bathroom, including a frameless glass shower, new cabinetry, granite counters and Kohler fixtures. Hasan, the owner, was actively involved through the entire process, including dropping by several weeks after completion to make sure we were completely satisfied. He repeatedly stated, "I want to make sure you are happy." We chose Bull Run Kitchen and Bath because of it's excellent reviews and, importantly, because it is a one-stop, full service company, including design capability, with a complete showroom of quality products to choose from. We didn't want to go to multiple providers to select tile, fixtures, cabinetry, lighting, etc. We wanted to deal with just one source, and we found it in Bull Run Kitchen and Bath. We are totally pleased with the final outcome and are very happy we chose Bull Run Kitchen and Bath for our bathroom project. We would definitely use them again.

BRK handled the demolition, cabinet & counter top installation plus the plumbing. I handled the minor electrical work required (adding/moving outlets, phone & cable TV hook ups). Service was prompt, all the routine issues that popped up during the process were handled professionally and in a timely manner. We invited Mo to come by the house and bat around some ideas we had, later we stopped by the showroom to develop a detailed plan, select materials and schedule the project. The project started and completed on time. Mo and the entire RBRK team were all a real pleasure to work with.

Excellent job!. Our kitchen has been completely remodeled. The floor was reinforced to avoid vibrations and new ceramic was installed, wall into the dining room was demolished and illuminated with pendants on a beautiful granite counter, the roof was lit with recessed lights. the lighting under cabinets make a special effect to the backsplash, granite and the cherry color of the cabinets. It is a beautiful and comfortable kitchen ... very good job on the design and quality of the cabinets. The vanity of the powder room was removed and replaced as well as all accessories, it looks beautiful now. Recessed lights were also installed in the living room giving a touch of modernity... we love it. The entire process of removal cabinets, walls demolition, plumbing, electricity, painted wall, lighting, installation of countertops and new appliances, etc., were made with professionalism and over all cleaning and care. Our thanks and congratulations to Bull Run Kitchen & Bath team (Hakan, Mo, John and Yovany) for the great job and excellent customer service .... We are very happy! Clarisa & Carlos M.

We generally research any major purchase to death before we make a decision. I'm not for sure if that means we are deliberate or we just dither, but either way we appreciated that once we contacted them and got the initial design they didn?t do a hard sell. We got a courteous ?let us know? email and they didn?t hound us at all. While they were not the cheapest estimate, we got the best feel that they would provide the best quality for the price. We did go with the higher end of the Fabuwood Line of cabinets which for the price appear to be really good quality. We added on a lot of upgraded trim detailing, under cabinet lights, decorative pillars, pull out shelves, soft close hinges etc. Additionally we had a couple of tricky requirements to work around. Adding a propane range, on demand hot water dispenser, moving some lights etc.) Mo did a great job with the design and also managed our project. We were stuck with the same general ?footprint? for the cabinets and appliances but Mo?s design did GREATLY improved the usable space in the kitchen. Removing the bulkhead and using taller cabinets. He was also able to really enlarge the island? we were a bit hesitant that the size would overwhelm the space but he talked us into it and it turned out great . He also came up with a clever solution for our pantry by insetting custom fitted cabinets into the space so we didn?t lose any depth and then trim with crown molding. We actually gained a fair amount of pantry space and it really pulled the look together. The actual install went very well. I think we went into it with realistic expectations. We?ve done a fair amount of home improvement work ourselves which may have made us have a higher expectation but also realize that when you are working with an older house you are ALWAYS going to have something that shows up that you didn?t anticipate. John was our job foreman and did the cabinet installation and all the trim and finish work. He was extremely courteous, professional and efficient. He was always on time and worked diligently until 5-6:00pm. The first day of tiling was great, however, we did have an issue with a different crew that came to do the second half of the tiling and did a poor job. That would normally count for a bad review but as soon as we saw it and contacted them, John came out on a Sunday morning and was visibly upset about it and first thing Monday they tore it out and started over. And we did not have to say a word about it ? they just apologized profusely and made it right. It may have added a couple of days to the project but I think it is a better indication of character for a company to follow through and make sure a job is done right. Throughout the whole job Mo was always immediately available to answer any questions. One final thumb?s up for Nagy (I?m sure I?m spelling that wrong) who did the granite. The granite installation was FLAWLESS! We had to have one small seam which is practically imperceptible. But the opening for the range to slide into is precise and perfect. Even the guy who installed the range was impressed.

I am very pleased and impressed by Bullrun Kitchen and Bath?s speedy yet quality work. I am selling my condo, and had to do quick job to put my property on the market. The price was very reasonable from beginning and no additional charge on top of estimate. Muharrem aka ?Mo? was very easy to reach throughout the process, stopped by several times in person to check the progress, and met the schedule. I would definitely use Bullrun again for my new house. I was checking some contractors from Angie?s List and I stopped by at their showroom one day. Mo quickly acknowledged and scheduled in-house estimate. From there, everything went smooth. After measurement and estimate, I returned to the showroom to decide matching granite color, backsplash design and tile, and sink + faucet. First, Granite dept took detail measurement, and replaced old wonky counter top. The work was done in one day. Next is backsplash. Again one day from removal to installing new backsplash. For backsplash, they used plenty of corner / trim tiles to maintain the overall design. (no additional charge) Next day, sink, facet and disposal were replaced. The entire work process took only a week. Everyone took care of carpet etc. and left no mess or damages. Great job arranging different dept. meeting estimate and schedule. I would recommend Bullrun to my friends and neighbors.

Recently our shower leaked into the dining room. A plumber discovered that the fault was with the shower itself and the shower needed to be replaced so we decided to go ahead and remodel the bathroom. After receiving an outrageous estimate from another company we went to Bull Run Kitchen and Bath. We were immediately impressed with the friendliness and knowledge of the staff. The estimate we received was less than half the other one given to us. We received excellent advice on decor at no additional cost. There was a wide selection of options for vanities, tiling and accessories. Work was started immediately. The workers arrived on time and worked diligently throughout the day. They were meticulous in covering stairs, floors and furniture. There was a complete clean-up each day before the workers left. The workers were consistently professional and courteous. Hakan regularly monitored the progress of the work and paid attention to every detail. The final result is better than we even anticipated. We would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to remodel a bath or kitchen.
Bull Run Kitchen and Bath gave me a better kitchen than I dreamed of within my budget and within my tight timeframe. I bought a house and thought a new kitchen before moving day was unrealistic, but I was able to take dishes out of the moving boxes and put them in the new cabinets. It is worth a visit to Bull Run?s showroom in Manassas, but don?t let the slightly chaotic feel of the place discourage you. Owner Hakan Boke and his staff spend their time in their clients? homes, not polishing their showroom. Nevertheless, see if you like their basic choices of cabinetry and granite. The key to Bull Run?s price and relative speed is choosing from their baseline inventory, but customization is always an option. My estimate with Hakan lasted two and a half hours. He explained how he would overcome some plumbing and flooring challenges and drew pictures, showed me photos of kitchens they?d renovated, and took lots of measurements. Hakan will tell you you are the boss, but he is also not shy about offering his opinion and the benefit of his training and experience as an engineer and building inspector, as well as a designer. When I arrived at the showroom for the second visit, 3-D images of my kitchen with the changes we discussed were on the screen. I sheepishly confessed I had completely changed my mind about a major element, so, together, we moved appliances and cabinets in the software. We spent three hours making the kind of detailed changes that left me feeling like I was getting exactly what I wanted. We scheduled the crew to start the renovation in nine days. John and Jovanni (I apologize if I?ve misspelled his name) started the demolition on time, and there was never any delay from that point forward. Hakan and Mo visited the house more times than I can remember and responded quickly to texts and emails with questions. At one point I decided I wanted to shift an entire wall of cabinets a few inches to the left to add clearance space for the refrigerator door. After a single brief phone call with Hakan, they moved six cabinets, the pantry cabinet, gas stove, and microwave, which had all already been installed. Nobody balked. John said he wanted me to be happy. I wrote my fourth and final check for the amount promised plus my two upgrades ? seven LED (vice CFL) lights and the backsplash tile I chose from Architectural Ceramics that Bull Run purchased, picked up, and installed. The kitchen is exactly what I expected. You cannot tell where planks from the existing hardwood floors were moved to patch under where old cabinets had been. The granite is beautiful, and the recessed and under cabinet lighting practically make it sparkle. I have no regrets about ordering the basic cabinets, especially because I was able to add distinctive hardware I really like. They even did a great job painting. Bull Run is growing, based largely on word of mouth, and Hakan and his team are motivated to ensure you are another happy customer.
Description of Work: Renovated my kitchen. They removed existing cabinets and demolished a closet pantry. To change from a peninsula to an island, they moved plumbing lines and patched the existing hardwood floor. They installed new cabinets with pulls outs and hardware, granite counter tops, a new sink and disposal, recessed and under cabinet lighting, and a tile backsplash. They also installed appliances and an additional light fixture I purchased, and they painted.

At this point they are in the process of putting the countertops and have about 2-3 days more of work, but BullRun has done such a stellar job, I could not wait to share my experience . When I first contacted Hakim, he assigned Mo to my project and Mo came the very next day to give me an estimate. I met with them at their showroom subsequently, made changes to my design several times. They presented me with computerized rendition of the project. Once the cabinets were ordered, work progressed smoothly. Both Mo and Hakim are very professional, courteous in their demeanor and easy to work with . They gave me a clear estimate and did not nickel and dime me throughout the project. As an example, initially they were going to install new flooring in the kitchen and restain the living room floor to match it. However, without even bringing up the issue of added cost they put new hardwood flooring throughout. There were so many details such as hiding the exposed TV cables in the wall that I asked that they did without any hassle. The lighting in my space was a challenge but their team stepped up to it. The materials and workmanship are very high quality and I can't thank them enough for the beautiful job they have done.

Mo did an outstanding job in assisting us. The cabinets were delivered on time, in perfect condition, and with all necessary materials. Installation of the granite countertop required a minor fix to cut an opening in the backsplash to fit a slim tower cabinet between the dual sinks. The contractor returned the next day as promised and made the cuts. The cabinets are of excellent quality and the price easily beat the large box and speciality stores we also shopped. We were so satisfied with the product and service that we have already ordered additional cabinets with Mo for a second bathroom remodel.
Description of Work: Assisted with the selection, delivery and installation of linen cabinets and a double sink cabinet with granite countertops, drawers and other features for a major master bathroom remodel. Included granite countertops and sinks.

YES-- we would hire Hakan again! In fact as soon as the job was done -- we went to Hakan for a quote on our other bathroom. YES --we decided to hire Hakan. Hakan is very easy to work with. Hakan understands our needs. Hakan is friendly and professional. Hakan also makes a great latte at the showroom. Hakan's price is competive. Plus the tile choices are great!
Description of Work: ADA Wheelchair accessible remodel of 2006 Master bathroom on 1st level cement slab. TOP reasons to hire Hakan are: 1. Hakan due to personal injury -- truly understood ADA accessible Bathroom needs. 2. Price was competitive. Much lower than removing tile to replace it with a bath wrap. 3. Hakan has you writing the contract with him to ensure everything you want is in the contract. 4. Hakan was able to do the work to fit our schedule. 5. Hakan's employees work process included placing canvass down to protect the floors. 5. Hakan's employees work process included clean-up each day. 6. Hakan was able to design a work-around when unexpected piping location was discovered. 7. We were able to get exactly what we wanted. We purchased a shower rod system and ADA grab bars that Hakan's employees installed. 8. 10x10 tile floor and 5x4x10ceiling tile shower took 1-week to install. 9. Shower tiles were fancy 3x11 glass--degree of difficulty to work with high. 10. Hakan's employees showed a high degree of craftsmanship including patience, and calmness.

I would recommend Bull Run Kitchen and Bath Company. HaKan, the designer we worked with to redesign our bathroom, is very personable and knowledgeable. At first, I only wanted to replace the 1960?s era blue tub. However, during our discussions with HaKan, we decided to undertake a complete remodeling of the bathroom, replacing the sink and the tile surrounding a new tub, as well as the floor tile. There were many painstaking choices to make and HaKan was very patient as we were making those decisions. Ultimately, we found a deep soaking tub, new tile for the wall and floor, and a new cabinet and sink. The work was done efficiently and competently and the craftsmen who installed the project were professional, courteous and very good about cleaning up the site after each day?s work and at completion. The price was fair. Our many questions and changes were accommodated and we are very happy with the results.

We had 4 different companies stop by and give us estimates for a remodel on our small, shower-only bath. Three of the four were over thirteen thousand dollars and we were not impressed by any of their presentations. Hakan from Bull Run invited us to his showroom, answered all of our questions and met our price. His crew was great. They showed up each day at the stated time and cleaned up, never leaving a dust trial behind. Hakan gave us his cell number and he always responded to our questions in a timely manner. He fixed any issues and also did a small touch up job in our kitchen for no charge. Our new bath is beautiful and we love showing it off - we posted numerous pictures on our Facebook page to great reviews! Hakan is funny and personable and great to work with. We would highly recommend Bull Run to anyone looking to remodel a bath or kitchen.
