The team, lead by Matt, completed our custom kitchen in five workdays! The custom, reasonably priced, cabinets are one of a kind with amazing features (giant built-in bread box, corner glass, slim spice rack, and cook sheet cabinets). The granite work on the countertops and backsplash are seamless and gorgeous! Our new center island with breakfast bar, wine cooler, and side bookshelf is exquisite and functional. The pantry is amazing with pullout shelves. I could go on and on. Our modestly sized kitchen looks twice the size it did before the remodel. I would definitely recommend Bull Run Kitchen and Bath to anyone considering a kitchen remodel.
Description of Work: Beautifully remodeled our kitchen. It is culinary perfection! Great service, superb workmanship and quality!

This was our first attempt at a remodel in our 30 years of marriage. We quickly found out that we needed expert advice in deciding all aspects of this adventure. We had other estimates but Bull Run Kitchen & Bath rapidly became our go to. It is a one stop decision place with quality products Bob, in the showroom, walked us through the decision making process with no pressure and the utmost patience. He wanted us to be happy with the decisions we were making. He listened to our likes and asked questions. He double checked to make sure he understood. BRKB gave us the impression that they truly cared and valued us. After we left, it only took us our drive home to decide we wanted them to go ahead. After signing the contract, Bob came again to the house to measure and with the samples we chose to make sure this was what we wanted and to see what we thought of the samples in our space. I really appreciated that effort. After they started to renovate our 1970's bathrooms, they did find some odd little quirks. They told us there would be no problem to remedy these at no extra cost. One of these was our framework inside the doorway. They cleaned it up and made it beautiful. I have to give the highest praise to the crew that worked tirelessly and effortlessly to transform our two bathrooms. I never saw them take a break other than lunch. They knew exactly what needed to be done and when. They always put cloths down in the hallway to to keep everything clean. They vacuumed every evening before they left. Every evening, they gave us a recap of what was done that day and what to expect the following day. If I had concerns of any kind or changed my mind about something, the project manager came here to talk me through the change. They were always easy to talk to. Before putting the products in, they made sure if this was what we wanted. BRKB also upgraded our mirrors and faucets, with our consent of course, because they felt the others were faulty or wouldn't look as nice. I am pleased to say, I am thrilled with the upgrade. I have heard so many horrors stories of remodeling but our experience was first-rate and would not hesitate to do it again with BRKB when and if we decide to have our kitchen remodeled as well. I gave BRKB an "A" for price because it was well worth every penny in quality, looks, service and peace of mind. I am just so impressed in how honest, hardworking and personable everyone was that we came in contact with. I can't believe these are our two bathrooms. They are incredible. Our only regret is we should have had this done years ago.
Description of Work: A complete remodel for the master bath and the hallway bath. This included new tub/shower, sink, vanity cabinets, mirrors, toilet, wall tile and floor tile. New paint on wall and ceiling. They also updated lights and wall outlets

Our bathroom remodel experience with Bull Run Kitchen and Bath was excellent, from the initial reception at the shop, to the installation, and follow up when the work was complete. Hakan and his team were highly professional, and personable as well. We felt as if they were truly committed to ensuring we the best possible service. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to do renovation work. Go ahead and check out other companies as part of the comparison shopping you have to do; I am confident that once you match everything up you will come back to Bull run to do the work. Okay, now for the details. Bull Run was the fifth place we looked at for our master bathroom remodel. We went to the design centers at two big box stores, and did online work with a small business, and went sat down in one other aside from Bull Run. All were in the same price range, but BRKB offered the most amenities, and provided by far the best overall experience. They offer a great variety of products and style choices to help you figure out what you want. We felt no pressure to choose a particular brand, there were no attempts to upsell within a certain product line, and there was no pressure to commit right away. Our questions were answered honestly and patiently. When I asked, I was immediately shown all business licenses and insurance documents. I even got a chance to speak on the phone with a previous customer. It was the middle of a business day, so the fact that he took time out for our phone call (about 15 minutes) spoke highly of the crew. Our customer service rep, Bob, visited the house twice to double check measurements. I like ?measure twice cut once.? The crew showed up six weeks after we signed the contract, just as arranged. Vladimir and his crew were very courteous and respectful. They covered everything in their work path with plastic, plus all of our master bedroom furniture, and took off their shoes anytime they had to go elsewhere in the house. They worked non-stop for at least eight hours a day, plus on two Saturdays. I don?t ever recall them stopping to eat lunch! At the end of each work day, they reviewed the work done with my wife or me and coordinated the next day?s schedule. They were very flexible in working with us when we were not available for them to work. We had one small bump when the plumbing in the wall did not match up with the new design for the shower. Following the original design plan would have worked, but it would have looked awkward. Hakan figured out the solution, then threw in the extra work at no additional cost! That is commitment to customer satisfaction. The work is complete, and we could not be happier. I waited a few weeks to submit this review to see if any "buts" or problems with the work came up that would test the post work relationship. I am happy to report that there have been none. In fact, that is part of Hakan's philosophy. He accepted the final payment only after making sure my wife was satisfied and that there was no chance for "buyer's remorse." And that doesn't even factor in the two year warranty of work! It gives me peace of mind to know how much Hakan stands by his company?s work. Overall, a great experience in all respects. I can assure anyone considering using Bull Run Kitchen and Bath for renovations that they will have no regrets.

Summary: We strongly recommend Bull Run Kitchen and Bath (BRKB). In fact, we have already recommended BRKB to a neighbor and a friend. The experience, from beginning (sales process) to end (delivery and follow-through) was outstanding. Sales process: We found BRKB via a search on the Internet - and then reviewed them on Angie's List. As you can see, their rating on Angie's List was almost all "A". Their overall and individual category ratings were better than any of the other companies we were considering. After doing our "on-line homework", we went to their store/showroom in Manassas, VA. The showroom was a good size, nicely laid out, and clearly displayed their products (cabinets, hardware, tile... etc.). Upon our arrival we met Hakan (the owner) and Matt (aka Mo). We worked with Matt throughout the whole process... from sales, throughout delivery, and even a nice box of chocolates at Christmas. Matt always took our calls, made himself available when we needed, and followed up on every aspect of the project. It's not often that you get the level of personal attention (and attention to detail) that Matt provided to us. One of the best aspects of BRKB's sales process is their 3D design system. After visiting our house, spending a couple of hours talking and measuring - our next visit was in their showroom where we sat in front of a large TV screen to see the design that had been done. The system BRKB uses allows the placement of the actual product that will be used - so you can switch out various components to see how it will actually look when completed. This was a huge help in determining what we wanted - and is a "selling point" for BRKB. Matt told us that once we decided on the design - the product would be ordered and they would start three weeks hence. This is exactly what happened. Delivery: As noted - the project started when Matt said it would. The whole old kitchen was gutted and removed in one day. That same day, the new materials/product (primarily cabinets) arrived. The next day, the work on the new kitchen began. Two people did most of the work... John and Jobani. They were both very skilled in every aspect of the work that they were doing (installing the cabinets, drywall/paining, electrical, plumbing, tile work... etc.). They arrived on time every day, worked hard, were very pleasant, answered any questions we had, responded to any issues we raised, and cleaned up everything before leaving for the day. After about one week - the granite team arrived on a Thursday to measure the counter tops - to then cut the granite (slabs) we had selected. They then arrived on Saturday (two days later) and installed the counter tops. Another excellent job. Matt arrived at our house almost every day to inspect the work and answer any questions/issues we had (or thought we had). Matt was also always responsive to our phone calls. The timeline/schedule was followed just as Matt had indicated it would be. He said the work would take roughly 2 to 3 weeks to complete. It did. In fact, the span of time was about three weeks - but, the actual work was only about two weeks. This is another reason why we recommend BRKB... Not having a kitchen is disruptive. Many companies will tell you the work may take anywhere from one to three months. BRKB's ability to complete their work in three weeks (or less) - and retain the quality - is of huge value. As with any project, there are problems here and there. In other words... nothing's perfect. Matt (as well as Hakan) responded quickly, and without any disagreement, to any and all concerns we had. In other words... BRKB's customer service was outstanding. Price: We looked at, and received pricing, from two other companies in addition to BRKB. BRKB was the least expensive. (In one case by almost $20k - in the other case... BRKB was half the cost.) This actually caused us to "pause" and wonder if we were overlooking something. In comparing the companies... BRKB's product was as good or superior to the others'. BRKB's process (and timeline) was better than the other companies. Obviously, with any unknown - there is a certain amount of trust required... so we went with BRKB. We were not the least bit disappointed. In fact, BRKB is a very good value. As a result, we will shortly be talking with Matt about remodeling out master bath. Again... we highly recommend Bull Run Kitchen and Bath.
Description of Work: Full kitchen remodel - including... - Tear-out/removal - New cabinets - New granite counters - Back-splash tile work - Dry-wall and painting (in kitchen and adjacent family room) - Installed sink and appliances (stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, range hood, disposal) - Associated electrical - Associate plumbing

Our bathroom remodeling experience with Bull Run has been an eye opener. We have discovered through this experience that there ARE honest, hardworking, professional and talented people out there you can hire!! And they work at Bull Run Kitchen and Bath!! We had three bathrooms in our home (built in the 70?s) that were in desperate need of a total re-do. We consulted several different firms, but Bull Run was the chosen provider. Our designer, Bob, was just plain honest about EVERYTHING! And he asked questions to help him in the design I would never have considered?but they ALL turned out to be important pieces of the puzzle. The week they were scheduled to start, my husband had emergency brain surgery. I stopped by the showroom to tell them, and all they were concerned about was his health. Not only did they eagerly say we could put off the job until he was out of the hospital and fully recovered, the owner offered to cancel the whole job, no questions asked, if that would make my life easier at this difficult time. Their concern and compassion truly spoke volumes to me?.the almighty dollar was NOT their primary concern. Once we were able to start the renovations, the crews arrived and they worked miracles. This outfit gives new meaning to making sure the customer is happy. When problems were discovered during their work (such as pre-existing cracked lines), they just went ahead and fixed them. No discussions about any additional money to be charged since this was not in the original plan?.they just fixed it!! Also, when it was determined that extra insulation in the garage ceiling would help the temperature of the bathroom over the garage, they just DID it! No questions asked. Their tile man is an EXPERT. And it is very obvious he takes pride in his work. He was here over 12 hours one day; he asked if he could stay late because he wanted to finish the job and get it right. It was beautiful. The shower glass team was great. The first time they came to install the glass, they said it was a quarter of an inch off and they wanted to re-order that particular piece. Not that we would have noticed it, they just wanted to do it right!! Imagine that!! Management made regular weekly visits to the job site, always paying special attention to making sure WE were happy with what was being done. Their biggest problem was probably me. I have an attention to detail which drives my husband insane. I could find that needle in the haystack if it was just slightly out of place. I pointed out teeny tiny items that I thought needed attention and every single time, my concerns were addressed and NEVER questioned. Making the customer happy is clearly their number one priority. And believe me, I tested that theory to the limits!! They were responsive to every single item I asked for, every single time I changed my mind (which was multiple times), and they never ever questioned my desires, my requests, or my direction changes. I saw my husband biting his lip several times!! Their willingness to do whatever it was going to take to make me happy was so refreshing. Although we are both retired and could be at home while they worked, we never felt anything but comfortable when we left them alone. We trusted their work as well as their integrity. In summary, this has been a very pleasing experience. We are totally in love with out three new bathrooms, and so very happy that we have discovered a company that puts people, quality, and honesty above the bottom line! I feel as if I have made new friends. Kudos Bull Run, job well done!!

The entire team at Bull Run did an amazing job. Matt, our designer and project manager, was very helpful in selecting tiles for us to consider and brought the project in on time and on budget, even during the busy holiday season.. Edwin, the tile installer was extremely thorough and efficient and did a great job, his attention to detail was excellent.. Even though it was a small job, we felt like we had their support throughout the process and the end result is top notch. I will definitley use them for additinal jobs in the future.

The cost was very fair and project manager worked with us to get what we wanted in the price range we could afford. This company was one of the few willing to upgrade the areas of the kitchen we wanted without replacing things unnecessarily. For example, we wanted to increased the size of our island and instead of making us buy an entirely new island for triple the cost, they added cabinets and a wine rack and matched them to what we currently have. This not only saved us money, but shortened the total time of the job and it looks amazing. We are all about restoring and reusing whenever possible and Bull Run helped us keep what we could and only replace the essentials. Our granite countertops and glass tile backsplash also match perfectly with our current cabinets and our style. The remodel team was very professional and worked with us throughout the project to ensure we were happy with the progress.

Once I decided that I wanted my master bathroom renovated, I checked Angie?s List to get some good contractor recommendations. It didn?t take me long to find Bull Run Kitchen and Bath. They had great reviews and were located in nearby Manassas. My initial meeting was with Bob. He came out to my house, discussed my needs for the bathroom, took measurements, and made great design recommendations. I then went out to their showroom to pick out materials. It is a wonderful site, and there was a great variety to select from (shower wall and floor tile, cabinets, granite, fixtures, etc). There were a lot of decisions to be made, but Bob was very patient with me as I made selections on the materials to be used. He provided me with a very comprehensive written proposal (including scope of work, proposed start date, material selection, cost, and payment schedule). I also met with Hakan during that initial visit. After reviewing my preliminary contract, he was able to provide me with their best pricing for this type of work. The work crews that were sent out were excellent! They worked very quickly and were highly skilled (in electrical, plumbing, lighting, installing wall/floor tile and cabinets, etc.). The project manager frequently stopped by to check on their progress and to talk to me about any concerns I had. Hakan also stopped by several times during the process to make sure everything was being done properly and that I was happy. He offered some great design advice as the bathroom was being remodeled. He also listened to my last-minute concerns, and he made sure that everything was addressed to my satisfaction. The finished bathroom is incredible! Every time I walk in there, I can?t believe it?s my bathroom?it?s gorgeous! I?m so happy that I found Bull Run Kitchen and Bath. Hakan, Bob, and their team take great pride in their work. If I?m not happy, they are not happy. I recommended them to my sister and brother-in-law, and they also used them to renovate their bathroom. This company also provides a 2-year warranty on their work. If you are looking for quality home renovations, I highly recommend Bull Run Kitchen and Bath!
Description of Work: Complete master bathroom remodeling. Work included removal of old tub, sink, vanity, cabinets, flooring, etc. Installation of redesigned shower (floor to ceiling tile, built-in seat, and frameless glass door), new adult-height cabinets with granite counter tops, new fixtures, mirrors, flooring, toilet, mirrors, recessed lighting, ceiling fan, etc.

We received three estimates to fully remodel our kitchen. Bull Run Kitchen and Bath provided the best plan for the money. Hakan came to the house and had a number of good ideas on how to make the most of the kitchen space that we have. We made selections for the cabinets, floor tile, back splash, and countertop in their showroom. There were many varieties from which to choose. The attention to the details of specific things we were looking for in the kitchen was very important and they went out of their way to find and install special cabinets that were important to the design of the kitchen. The crews that work for Hakan are excellent craftsmen and did an excellent job. They were prompt to the work site and cleaned up every day. All of the crews work directly for the company and each crew brought their own expertise to the job. The electricians provided us with recommendations for lighting that we had not considered and was an improvement to the original plans. The tile guy did an excellent job on the floor and the back splash. We were thoroughly pleased with the level of craftsmanship exhibited. The project took three weeks to complete and they were on time. The kitchen is beautiful and we love it! I have had many compliments on it and we plan to use them in the future for other projects.

Bull Run Kitchen and Bath completed a full remodel of a 5' x 7' hall bath for me in the fall of 2015. Designer Hakan Boke worked patiently with me to design and execute precisely what I wanted to my exacting standards. Hakan?s communication during the project was excellent. Once the existing fixtures were removed, the crew discovered that the studs in the wall adjoining the neighboring townhouse were turned sideways; thus, there was no room to install the two niches that we had planned without the tub placement moving right into the doorframe. Hakan texted immediately with photos to show me the situation. He explained my options to me, and work halted temporarily to allow me to make a decision about how to proceed. One thing I particularly liked about Hakan and Bull Run was that I did not feel pressured to make decisions. Other companies were a lot more aggressive. The cost was neither the least nor the most expensive of the estimates that I got. I feel that the overall value is excellent, especially because Bull Run provides a 2-year warranty on their work, twice what other companies seem to give. On the whole, I?m entirely pleased with the way my remodel turned out. The bathroom went from being usable but not particularly attractive to a beautiful space that I?m proud to have in my home.

I had already got a quote from a Costco service provider but was becoming weary of their responsiveness (to put it simply) so I decided to look elsewhere. BR had great reviews so I emailed them for a quote and they came out a few days later to see the project. I told Hakan up front that I already had a quote and gave him the same basic overview of the job. He looked it over, made a few recommendations and then gave me a verbal quote - it was better than I had already received AND he would be doing more than the previous provider ( I was basically going to have to be my own GC with the other and would have had to sub a contractor, electrician, gas and appliance install). Additionally, he asked me when I would ideally like to get the job done and I said before thanksgiving ( about 3 weeks away) and he said he would make it happen! The other provider was going to try to fit me into December... I reviewed everything in the formal written quote and signed the contract. The work started the following week with the layout mods and granite measurements on a Wed - we had hoped to get it done before the weekend but the granite fab was so large that they said it would have to be a Sat install... Not the end of the world. The install of the granite went great and then the sink and cooktop remained. The sink was no prob but they hit a snag with the cooktop and had to come back Monday - wasn't thrilled but wanted it done right and they wanted to make sure it was done right. Back on Monday to make the unexpected mods to the cabinet, installed the cooktop, cleaned up and were all done - it looked awesome!!! Hakan came by several times during the project to check and make sure I was happy, his crews (fab, elec, granite) were all very professional and very neat, tidy and polite as well. I will be planning to use them again next year for the master bath remodel!

Matt, the project manager and designer, said the job would be completed in 10 working days. They started demo on Oct 21 and took 2 -3 hours. They took out the soffit to make room for more cabinets space. One cabinet arrived damage and had to be reorder. They installed some of the old cabinets in the garage at no extra cost. John and his helper were very hard workers and the work was done was done very professionally. The only problem was getting the dishwasher reinstalled. The project took four weeks from when the domo started until dishwasher reinstalled. Delays due to damage cabinet and dishwasher reinstalled.

My master bath remodel experience with Bull Run Kitchen and Bath exceeded my expectations in every way. They did an outstanding job at a very competitive price. Hakan listened to what I wanted and then made design suggestions (both structural and decorative) that greatly improved the functionality and beauty of the final project. After coming to the house to take measurements we met at the showroom to choose the materials. I was very happy that Bull Run was able to supply everything needed for the project which saved me a lot of time and hassle. Work started on time and Hakan stopped by often to personally check on the project. He was always accessible via phone or text to answer my questions. Carlos and his crew were hardworking, respectful, and cleaned up every night. When the inevitable issue came up, it was resolved quickly and to my complete satisfaction. One day while I was out Carlos discovered a toilet (from another bathroom) was leaking down into my foyer. He called for permission before quickly opening up the ceiling to keep the problem from growing. Then at no additional charge, he actually replaced the drywall and fixed the ceiling! I love my glamorous new bathroom! I am considering remodeling my kitchen in the spring and will happily call Bull Run again. PS -Did I mention that Bull Run has a two-year warranty on all their projects? : )

We first met Matt at the Bull Run Kitchen and Bath showroom and we told him what work we were interested in having done. He was very professional and made suggestions that would work best for us. Within two days he came out to our house to do detailed measurements and provided us with an estimate. We were very happy with the crew that came to our house to do the work. They were polite, respectful, and very conscientious and diligent in their work. You could tell that they took pride in their work and their goal was to make us happy. Even the owner, Hakan, came out to our house personally to make sure that all was going well and that we were pleased with the work that was being done. We are now enjoying our new master bathroom! It is absolutely beautiful and perfect for us! Thank you to Matt, Hakan, and everyone at Bull Run Kitchen and Bath for making this remodeling process a positive experience.

We are very happy with how our new master bathroom! It's amazing!!! The process started on a Friday, when we e-mailed Bull Run Kitchen and Bath regarding our interest in having the bathroom remodeled. That very same day, Bob Klink (designer) was able to come by our house to discuss our ideas, take measurements, and gave us a ballpark estimate on the project. Using a combination of our ideas and his ideas and suggestions, we already had a basic plan for what the new bathroom would look like. We actually had been in communication with another company, but after our experience with Bob, we decided to continue the process with just Bull Run Kitchen and Bath. Within a week or so, we met with Bob at the showroom and spent a few hours picking out tile and discussing our plans in more detail. That day we signed the proposal and discussed when work might begin. Soon Bob returned to our home with Hakan, who took over the project at this point. They made final measurements to ensure everything would work out perfectly. The project started right around when they estimated it would. Demolition was all done in one day. They immediately then got to work on the electrical and preparing the space for a new bath tub. There were then two or three days where no one came to work, but we then found out this was because Bull Run had received two broken bathtubs in a row from their supplier. They had to have the tub to continue the work. From that point on, workers were here daily until the project was just about complete. The glass shower door and enclosure were custom made, and it took about a week for that to be ready. Things were already looking great at this point, but the shower glass really was the final main element to complete the bathroom. Then we just waited a little bit longer for finishing touches. Hakan ordered towel bars, hooks, and a toliet paper holder that went perfectly with all of the chrome fixtures. His workers came and installed all of those bars. They gave us some time to live in the bathroom for awhile, and the crew returned one more time for any adjustments and paint touch ups that were needed. All we had were a couple very minor paint touch ups, plus they replaced our mirror. The original one they constructed ended up with a scratch. They happily replaced it for us. Hakan's crew was all very professional and extremely easy to get along with...they worked hard and produced professional, top-notch results! At the end of every day they cleaned up all of the hallways and also the garage, which we had set up as storage for materials. I was very impressed by all of the workers. One man specialized in tile, and he spent about four days getting all of the tile just perfect. There was a lot of tile! All of the flooring in the sink area, the walk-in closet, and the toilet/tub/shower area was done with one style of tile. Then he tiled all the way to the ceiling around two sides of the shower (the other sides are glass) and around the front and top of the bathtub with another kind of tile. We also had an accent piece run around the whole tub and shower, and then a second accent piece in up higher around the whole shower. He also did the smaller tile we had chosen for the floor of the shower (it matches the color/look of all of the floor tile). They also did a lot of drywall work and prep for painting. That all turned out very nice. Juan was impressive with all of his electrical and plumbing skills. We had new recessed lights installed and we also had purchased some cool looking LED tube lights for the vanity area. All of the lighting looks great. He also installing new plumbing for the sinks, shower, and bathtub. Hakan was very helpful in making some decisions throughout the whole process, including a couple small modifications from the original plan. He had a great suggestion about the tile around the front of the bathtub. We had planned to have a different accent piece in the middle of the tile there. He suggested it would look too busy and that was definitely the right call! It looks great because we already have the other accent pieces. We made a few changes from the original plan and we're happy we did. There was one change that happened without us knowing (and maybe by accident?), but it turned out for the best. The original plan had a small shorter wall over part of the front of the shower. We asked about it one day, but then decided it would look best as they were already constructing it. It looks GREAT with all of the glass around the two sides of the shower. Hakan really wanted to be sure things were done properly and ensured the project turned out looking great! We greatly appreciate everything what he and everyone from Bull Run Kitchen and Bath did to make this project a success. Thank you to Bull Run Kitchen and Baths for a terrific remodel! We would definitely do more work in the future with this company.
Description of Work: Bull Run Kitchen and Bath did a complete remodel of our master bathroom. They installed all new tile floors and prepped underneath with cement board, brand new tiled shower and bathtub, two sinks, all faucets, fan, cabinets and drawers, countertop, towel bars and hooks, glass shower enclosure and glass door, replaced and relocated all of the lighting, removed all master closet shelving and repaired the walls and painted, painted the entire bathroom, installed a sliding pocket door in between the two main bathroom spaces (in place of our old swinging door), removed and reinstalled our toilet (we had replaced that within the last year and didn't want to buy a new one), and they also removed some of the drywall to properly prepare the shower and bath area for tile.

I can't emphasize enough how great this experience was. I'm new to the Virginia area and I took a chance on Bull Run Kitchens and Baths. I am very glad that I did. I gave them an extensive list of the changes I wanted to make to a home that I purchased. As I was going over these details, they were measuring everything so that they could give me a very accurate estimate of costs. This was important to me as I didn't want to get an estimate and then find out that they completely underbid the project just to get me to sign a contract. The estimate was given to me quickly. As I had already gotten another quote, I knew they were very fair with their pricing. They completely re-modeled the entire kitchen right down to new plumbing. This new kitchen is now my favorite room in the house. The master bath was also a complete remodel right down to removing the bathtub, adding new plumbing, toilets, flooring, granite and fixtures. The master bathroom is small, but, they took advantage of every bit of space to give me a larger shower. The other two bathrooms required a "3/4" remodel. I kept the tubs and tile surrounding the tubs, as they looked almost brand new. But, the old flooring, plumbing, vanities, sinks, medicine chests, and lighting fixtures were completely removed and replaced with new top of the line Kohler fixtures. Bull Run also replaced the wood flooring on almost the entire first floor. They re-carpeted the other two bedrooms, loft and stairs. They also re-stained the stair railings to match the new flooring. Besides doing the kitchens, and baths, they also put new granite and marble on my 2 sided fireplace. Needless to say, the fireplace looks absolutely beautiful in both rooms. I must admit that I did have very definite ideas on what I wanted, but, they were still able to point out things I hadn't considered which made the entire project even more perfect. All of the work was done in a timely manner which also is a great plus as I opted to rent an apartment instead of living in the home while it was being re-modeled. Apartments are wonderful, but, I was very anxious to move into my "new" home. The subs were great to work with; and every time I visited the showroom, I was made to feel very welcome. All of the people there were friendly and didn't seem to mind my constant questions. I would definitely use Bull Run Kitchens and Baths if I were to ever move again into a home and/or condo that needed updating. I highly recommend them to anyone who is considering updating their homes. Also, their name is a little deceiving. Bull Run Kitchens and Baths do so much more than just the kitchen and baths. Also, I really like the fact that they give a 2 year warranty on their work. There aren't too many contractors out there who stand behind their work like that. To me that is the frosting on the cake!!! Anne

My wife and I highly recommend Bull Run Kitchen and Bath. We initially hired them to remodel two bathrooms and a kitchen. But as time went on and we saw the quality of work they performed, we ended up having them repaint the entire interior of the house to include a two car garage and lay new wood flooring throughout the entire first floor. There were three main people we dealt with at Bull Run Kitchen and Bath. Hakan the owner is knowledgeable and friendly. Because of his background in remodeling houses, he had great ideas on how to remodel our kitchen and bathrooms. Moe the architect is the person who took our concepts and brought them to life with his 3D-CAD program. Because of Moe?s abilities, I made changes to the kitchen I thought I would never do and was exceptionally happy I did. The final person was Juan the foreman, he took our ideas and Moe?s drawings and brought them to life. The original price for the remodeling was $70,000. This was $10,000 cheaper than the bid we received from one of the larger remodeling companies. This price included remodeling a master bathroom, guest bathroom and kitchen. Also included was laying wood flooring in the kitchen, then stripping, staining and varnishing the rest of the wood flooring on the first floor to match the kitchen. However, after seeing the quality of work they did on the two upstairs bathrooms, we asked Hakan if he would paint the entire interior of the house to include the two-car garage, which had never been painted. We also discussed ripping up the old wood flooring and laying new wood flooring instead of stripping and staining the old floor. Hakan agreed to do the work, which added an additional $15,000 to the price. The remaining $5000 of the budget went to additional fixtures and electrical work I wanted done to the house which brought the total price of the remodel to $90,000. My wife and I could't be happier with our house and the choice of going with Bull Run Kitchen and Bath. All of their employees are friendly and go out of their way to help you. I can?t remember how many times they helped me with little projects around the house without charging me a dime. We all have Angie?s List because we?re trying to find a company that will give us great service at a fair price. With Bull Run Kitchen and Bath you get that and more. Thank you Hakan, Moe and Juan! The experience was nothing but smooth. The foreman, Juan, had attended to,every detail and kept things moving along. An attention to detail and making sure that at the end of each work day, the area was cleaned up and things put away. There was minimal disruption although some pieces were delayed by the manufacturer. The job was completed and with every small issues resolved quickly and with minimal disruption. With all the various and challenging changes that were made, Hakam, the owner, was able to shift focus to ensure the wife would be happy with the final results. Very good job

Our experience with Hakan, owner/operator of Bull Run Kitchen and Bath was excellent from the get-go! We first got an estimate from him, and then visited his showroom in Manassas. He was very helpful in making suggestions in the design and equipment phases. When we had some doubts about texture or colors or even where to re-locate the kitchen sink, Hakan's suggestions were right on and made perfect sense. From our initial encounter and up to the very end, Hakan was always a professional. You can tell immediately that he is well educated and shows real enthusiasm for his profession. In fact, my wife and I agree, it was probably his passion for the job that sold us. The Bull Run Kitchen and Bath work crew who arrived daily only reinforced the reasons why we selected this company. These guys (Juan's crew) were simply the best! Always on time, professional, courteous, and all business. By the time I arrived home from work they were cleaning up for the day. Everything (tools, etc.) was picked up, floors were vacuumed, and equipment was put away. Trash was picked up regularly each week. Most importantly, they know what they are doing. They covered carpets with plastic adhesive, and stored all equipment in the garage at the end of the day. The carpenters, granite guys, electricians, plumbers and the painters were all fantastic. A special shout out to the painters. An absolutely amazing job and one which we could never have duplicated. The whole job was completed within the time frame Hakan provided in the estimate. We are very pleased with the outcome and highly recommend Hakan and Bull Run Kitchen and Bath. M & T McGraw

For several years my husband dreamed of converting part of our unfinished basement into a workable workshop space. One day the Money Mailer packet contained an ad for Bull Run Kitchen and Bath with very positive reviews. On a chance that they did our kind of project, I called and today my husband's dream is a reality. Chris Peters, the designer, came within days and drew up a plan based on our space and specifications. The entire team has been awesome to work with. Hakan Boke, owner and manager, plus Chris, Memet, and all others met and exceeded our expectations. It is almost too pretty to mess up. Work was done in a timely manner by proficient workers who gave special care to protect adjacent areas from dust and impact of construction. They treated our home as if it were theirs. They took a personal interest in our plans and suggested additional outlets and features that improved the overall design and were open to our suggestions as the project progressed, often without any added cost to the contract. County inspectors praised the quality of the work. Hakan, Memet, and Chris personally stayed on top of every phase of the project, responding to our phone calls promptly and ensuring that the final result reflected our wishes and their professionalism. We highly recommend the Bull Run Kitchen and Bath team and will not hesitate to call them for future projects.

I bought a $349 deal from this company and they took my money and then backed out of the deal. They said Angie's list had made a mistake. They didn't offer an alternative or contact me in any other way. Their handling of this has been very unprofessional. I am very disappointed in this provider and Angie's list.

I searched other contractors in Northen Virginia and initially decided on Bullrun Kitchen and Bath due to their prompt response as well as their professionalism. tHere was no pressure In regard to upgrads. The determination was based on what I personally wanted. The designer came up with multiple options. They removed a load bearing wall with ease. The workers were neat and cleaned up daily. I was of course anxious and impatient by nature but they were tolerant. I am very pleased with the work that was done and would use the service in the future.?

Bull Run Kitchen and Bath is highly recommended. For years, I had been toying with the idea of remodeling my kitchen but was afraid of the cost. Bull Run was recommended to me by a very satisfied family member. I met with a representative and spent several hours discussing all the options available. The representative was very knowledgeable about the products. What I appreciated most was his attention to my budget and no pressure sales approach. With his help, I was able to design my dream kitchen with glass door cabinets, increased counter top space with beautiful granite and amazing lighting, all within my budget. During the remodel, the representative was here at every stage of the project to make sure I was satisfied with the work done. The crew who worked on the remodel was dedicated and hardworking. I appreciated their attention to detail and their workmanship was of the highest quality. There was never a "no" to any minor request and it was a treat to walk in the door after work every evening to discover the quick turnaround of the various projects. The work was completed on time and my outdated kitchen was transformed to a beautiful space. It feels like a new house. Needless to say I am a happy customer and I highly recommend Bull Run Kitchen and Bath.

From our first visit to the showroom in Manassas to the final visit post-installation, we felt confident with Chris Peters. While I'm not entirely certain of Chris' title, what he does is everything necessary to make the process stress-free and perfect! The granite selection process was easy because of the choices available in their showroom; when Chris performed our in-home consultation and measurements, he understood the changes we wanted to make and those changes were conveyed to the fabricator flawlessly; and our slab selection at the granite yard was easy and less intimidating to us only because of Chris' experience and expert advice on the lighting in our kitchen and how the granite chosen would look when installed. The granite fabricators working with Bull Run, Galaxy Fabricators, were experienced, seasoned professionals who know how to work not only with granite, but also with customers. On the day of installation, things could not have turned out more perfect with the granite and island installation -- the attention to detail by the Bull Run team was amazing. We appreciated Chris' post-installation on-site visit, to ensure that our kitchen was 100% complete. The final results of allof the efforts by the Bull Run Kitchen and Bath team is that we now have a beautiful updated kitchen that will last for many years to come.
