I recently renovated my third bathroom. I again chose Bull Run Kitchen and Bath since they had done a wonderful job renovating 2 other bathrooms in my home. Once again, they did a great job. Hakan’s unique bathroom ideas were stunning as always. He spent hours at Bull Run showing me various tiles and styles to come up with a unique design. Edwin, Oscar and other members of the crew were always polite, respectful and helpful. Edwin, being a bit of a perfectionist, took the time to be certain the work was done correctly. Edwin provided some options of how to best arrange things in the bathroom. The bathroom and surrounding area were clean and tidy before the crew left for the day. Sana, the project manager, checked in repeatedly to ensure everything ran smoothly.

The small bathroom remodel went really well. The workers put in long days and made sure the work area was cleaned up each day. Ron And Sana made sure I got everything I requested and kept me informed of their progress. The project turned out awesome. I did get three other quotes and Bull Run was the most competitive.
Bull Run Kitchen & Bath After 10 kids and 25 years of wear and tear, our kitchen needed a facelift. Knowing that there was quite a range of options out there, we gathered contractor references from friends and various internet sites. Since we were not radically changing the design of the kitchen, we solicited 7 bids for what I called a kitchen upgrade. (i.e. new floors, cabinets, counters, appliances, backsplash, lighting, paint). We were looking for not only a good price, but more importantly, best value. Although Bull Run came in 2nd in price, we decided to go with them for two reasons: * The Team: Our experienced Project Manager was Rashed. Our sales guy, Matt, was also the designer so there was limited opportunity for slipups. Matt was not only very knowledgeable, he listened, and paid keen attention to detail. * The Approach: Bull Run had a very practical design approach without a lot of up-selling. They have good quality materials, and their labor is backed by a better warranty than most. The project commenced with demolition on Feb 5th, the day we left for a week in California. We told Matt that we were entrusting our home to his care. He did not disappoint, constantly texting us pictures of the work in progress, and soliciting our comments. The project was completed on Feb 25th; less than 15 working days. The crew chief assigned to us, Orlando, was quite talented and versatile. When something was in question, he asked or texted me for my preference. The crew exercised great caution to move, cover, and protect our home furnishings, sealing off the kitchen, and placing dust filters on the HVAC intake vents. Matt, Orlando, and crew willingly handled minor change requests, and even suggested some minor improvements as the project proceeded, without adversely impacting the contracted price. The crew was very careful to protect the new floor, cabinets, and granite counters, as they installed the new appliances. On the last day, Orlando and crew finished the project, cleaned up the site, and uncovered and replaced all of our furniture. The crew took such good care of every finishing touch up and detail, that I had NO outstanding punch list! The best part of this exercise, however, was the quality and finish of the end product. Our new kitchen is gorgeous in every detail. My wife is very happy, and is very complimentary of Matt, Orlando, and crew. The kitchen was finished on time, within budget, and exceeded my expectations, .... truly a best value. I would highly recommend that you put Bull Run Kitchen & Bath on your project short list when considering a remodeling contractor. We were delighted with their work. Mike & Ann Hadro
I can’t say enough good things about BRK&B. They remodeled my kitchen very quickly and with very impressive and detailed craftsmanship. The materials and installation went very well and with little problems as well as the area was kept very clean. Sam (the project manager) had everything scheduled very well and addressed any issues that came up. Ron (the sales rep) was wonderful and helped me to select styles, colors, and textures. I am very happy with the results and hope to love this new kitchen for many years to come.
After meeting with several professional remodeling companies, we chose Bull Run Kitchen / Bath Design for our long awaited kitchen remodel. Bull Run’s estimate proposal was more affordable than the other companies we’d considered, but that was only a small part of why we chose them. Our designer, Tracy, put us at ease without pressuring us. When he met with us at our home and then again in the showroom, he won us over with his friendly demeanor and his obvious experience and confidence. Our project manager, Sana, was conscientious and accessible from start to finish. The day before the project was to begin, a family emergency took me out of town for two weeks. Before I left, Sana assured me that it wouldn’t be a problem; that he would stay in communication with me. He is a man of his word. Throughout my absence, Sana texted information, called when explanations were needed, and sent pictures in order to keep me apprised of the daily progress of our project. He coordinated all aspects of the project and communicated with the various professionals to ensure the proper installation of the cabinets, granite, plumbing, electricity, and even a new window. Sana researched the best deals to get the exact lighting fixtures I wanted, even when they appeared to be out of stock everywhere I’d tried! When the fixtures were being installed, Sana showed his design skill in giving me helpful suggestions on how to best display the unusual fixtures I had picked. He brought me samples of tiles when it was time to pick the backsplash and advised me on the appropriate size tiles for our size kitchen. In essence, Sana assured me nothing was a problem and earned my total trust and confidence. When small issues came up, Sana consulted Hakan, the president of the company, or worked with Orlando, our construction manager, to arrive at a good solution. Orlando and his crew were top notch. They were punctual, polite, hard working, and skilled. They carefully protected our floors, which were remaining in tact, as well as all of our other furniture and sections of our house. They worked some long hours, always quite neatly and efficiently. Each day they completely cleaned up their materials and took any trash away. As the project was completed, I barely needed to sweep or dust before putting away our items in our new kitchen. Our remodel was completed within the agreed timelines and the written design agreement. We are thrilled with the construction and remodeling, and we love our new, beautiful kitchen. We are so pleased that we chose Bull Run Kitchen / Bath Design, and they will be our choice for all of our future remodeling projects. We highly recommend this company. Sana and Edwin and his team did another great job. This was the second bathroom they remodeled for me. While the room was bigger than the other one done in August, I wanted the same finishes to ensure they were cohesive. They clearly strived to do a great job and wanted to make sure I was pleased. They quickly answered any questions I had and addressed any concerns I had to ensure everything was the way I wanted it. I would use them again on other projects.

We recently remodeled our kitchen with Bull Run Kitchen and Bath (BRKB). This project started with an idea two years ago. At first, we were thinking of painting existing cabinets white and upgrading the floors. During this phase we used Houzz to get ideas and advice from Houzz community. After feedback from Houzz and others we decided that entire kitchen remodel would be wise investment. We started searching for kitchen design companies in our area. Houzz and Angie’s List were extremely helpful and this is how we found BRKB. We contacted BRKB and scheduled an appointment with their designer, Rhonn. He met with us to discuss our requirements, showed us a detailed sketch of the kitchen and also gave us excellent ideas for making the kitchen modern and more functional at same time. After several meetings we finalized the design and then signed the contract to move forward with the project. Let me introduce you to Sam at BRKB. He was the project manager assigned for our remodel. He came to our home with Rhonn and Hakan (owner) to take final measurements after the contract was signed. Right away we could tell that Sam was well aware of our project. He gave us a high-level overview of how the project will progress and the shared schedule details (which was in line with Rhonn's original plan). Once project started, Sam was in constant communication with us and onsite every other day to make sure the project is on schedule and that work is being done to our satisfaction. We felt he was part of our team and made us feel comfortable throughout the whole process. He was very detail oriented (took notes, pictures and explained everything to the guys performing the work). No project is without problems, we had an issue with countertop fabrication process. This is where Sam's project management skills really shined and helped us. He worked with the fabricator to resolve the issue to our satisfaction and kept the project on schedule. He treated our home like it was his own. Along with Sam, BRKB sent us a great crew which included Orlando, Ronaldo and Rosalio. These three are expert craftsmen and their work is magical. They arrived on time, kept us updated, made us aware if there were any issues, kept our home clean and were very courteous. This is the fantastic four team!!! We are tremendously happy with the work BRKB has done in our home. From the owner, designer, project manager and the guys working in our home, everyone was dedicated in making our project a success. They delivered the kitchen of our dreams, within our schedule and most importantly within our budget. This is where we will make new memories with friends and family. We highly recommend Bull Run Kitchen and Bath to anyone considering a home improvement project.
I decided to get an estimate from Bull Run Kitchen and Bath (BRKB) after reading the reviews on Angie's List. My in home estimate ended up also including an initial design consultation which was a pleasant surprise as I was just expecting the estimate. My consultation was with the owner/President Hakan Boke. Hakan is a very engaging personality and it was clear from our conversation that he took pride in delivering a quality customer experience. Hakan provided the initial ball-park estimates for both the Master Bathroom and the Guest Bathroom. Both were at least $5000 below the next closest estimate per room. I also had some leaking ceiling issues which originated from within the bathrooms that Hakan has agreed to repair (i.e. replace the drywall) when the bathrooms are done - included in the baseline quote. A few days later I (along with my sister who was my co-designer) decided to visit the BRKB Showroom (walk-in) and ended up spending an entire afternoon piecing together my vision of my future master bathroom - with lots of help and guidance from Hakan in between his previously scheduled appointments. I got there around 1:30 or 2:00 and we were there until 8 o'clock which was 3 hours AFTER the store closed and everyone else had clocked out. But by the time we left, I knew that I was ready to move forward as Hakan had given us a sneak preview of our project using some type of design simulation software. I returned on Monday morning to seal the deal. A day or two later Hakan and our Project Manager Sam (Salih) came to do the final work scope assessment; materials measurements, etc. We didn't set a firm start date at that point - pending receipt of the project materials. There were some hiccups getting all of the desired design materials in but we were finally all systems go (i.e. we'd reached a point where materials were either in hand or assured in transit and our Project Manager Sam felt confident that the project could be started and completed on a smooth interruption free schedule.) Sam really went the extra mile trying to locate a vendor with a couple of my widely back ordered item(s) in stock and even had one of their drivers go and pick up certain items rather than wait for shipment by the vendor. When one of my "stylistic" trim tiles ended up being discontinued (despite the vendors' earlier concurrence that they were in stock and available for shipping) Sam had one of their guys bring a sample of a next best thing (most similar design) to my house to save me the trip into the showroom. We finally started the project the Monday after Thanksgiving with a hard scheduled completion date of within 3 weeks (just before the weekend going into the Christmas holiday). This falls within their 15-21 days standard delivery turnaround time. In that time my remodel job has gone from total demo to a beautiful new bathroom and was actually finished a day ahead of schedule. I am anxious to get Bull Run started on my next bathroom followed by my kitchen, my powder room, and anything else that falls under their area of design and remodeling expertise. That's how pleasant and satisfying the experience was! Some random high points or things to like about working with Bull Run (and having Sam as Project Manager): Everyone is soooo professional! Sam was constantly stressing that nothing is considered done until you're completely satisfied and he is always asking whether you are satisfied and whether there are "any things that you are not happy with because we can fix them". Sam was constantly stressing that it's about you and the way you want it. With our most recent bathroom remodeling experience having been with one of those "handyman" operations which resulted in all kinds of negative feelings and fears and all kinds of contractor apprehension, we were still in the "we're going to watch you like a hawk" mentality and we were constantly questioning the process to assure that no corners were being cut. Sam was so patient with us. He understood our fears and concerns and did not take them as a personal attack. He would just calmly answer the question, re-explain the process, reiterate the schedule, etc. then ask us if we were feeling more assured and promise us that when the project was complete we were going to be so happy because it was going to be perfect and beautiful. The professionalism and commitment to quality work on schedule by the various team members was a beautiful thing to behold. (Led by our Foreman - Juan) The team knocked my sister's socks off on day one when they came in and took so much care to protect our entryway, stairs, hall and bedroom from all of the debris that could be tracked in and out during the project. There was plastic draped all over the bedroom and all around the closets to prevent the demo dust from destroying the room. We joked that it looked like "Dexter's" lab from the t.v. series. We appreciated that they let us know when they were leaving for lunch; when they returned from lunch; when they were leaving for the evening; that they never came wandering through the house looking for us but rather would call out if they needed to get our input on something. They cleaned up and/or tidied up their work area at the end of each day. It's the little things! Edwin, our tile guy had such attention to detail. He obviously takes great pride in his "art" and it was almost mesmerizing watching his work take form. To summarize the work we had done: For the most part we maintained the same footprint except, thanks to Hakan's design expertise, I discovered that I still had the ability to expand my 1989 shower from a tight elbow bumping corner to a modern day spacious shower complete with a bench and no elbows crashing into doors and walls. We shifted some ceiling lighting around. We had quartzite countertops installed on the vanity. The process allows you to go to the marble/countertop vendor and pick out your own stone slab. At Hakan's advisement, we converted a practically floor to ceiling lavatory privacy wall into a "knee wall" which is basically a half-height wall which really had a transforming effect on the spaciousness and the flow of the overall room and which is really all that was needed. Sam provided his cell phone number so that we could reach him directly via either calls or texts with our interim questions and concerns. We didn't have to wait long for a response. We set the daily start time for the project at 9 a.m. and all of the team members not only respected that guidance but also treated as the start time. In our previous experience with the "handyman" type operation the workers would show up early or show up late more than showing up on time. There was a "like clockwork" feeling with the BRKB teams. At this writing, our customers frameless glass shower surround is on order with a scheduled installation in the next couple of weeks. Fortunately, the shower is large enough that it is still usable while we wait. I think I've covered the types of things I like to know when I read Angie's List reviews. I would highly recommend considering Bull Run Kitchen & Bath for your remodeling projects. I would also recommend requesting Sam as your Project Manager.
I hired Bull Run Kitchen and Bath for a bathroom renovation after reading reviews on Angie's List and listening to a friend who used them and raved about it. Now that my renovation is finished, I give them five stars out of five for the job they did. Rather than repeat all the superlatives other reviewers used, I want to mention a few things that were different about my project. My duplex house is 70 years old and the bathroom is very small (5 X 7’). With a house that old, they needed to fix things that were wrong underneath the old tiled floor and behind the walls. The subfloor had to be leveled and bowed walls had to be fixed. With such limited space and a door opening inward, every inch was critical as far as where items were placed (the shower door, vanity, etc.). The workers I had - Grover and William - were true craftsmen and worked through every problem to my satisfaction (and I'm a detail-oriented person). It was amazing how versatile they were - carpentry, plumbing, wiring, drywall, tiling - they did everything! I was amazed they were both able to work on different tasks inside that tiny room at the same time. They gave me options when possible and they were responsive to all my requests for minor changes. Their skill and attention to detail are the main reasons I rate the company so highly. When I had questions or was just stressing out about some aspect of the project, Cem, the Designer/Project Manager, always responded promptly and gave me good advice. He did an excellent job of coordinating when other people showed up to do their specific tasks and he kept the project moving along without any major glitches. Even Hakan, the owner of the company, came out a few times to check on the progress and give directions where needed to the workmen. They were prompt about hauling away construction debris and the project was finished on time and within the budget. In summary, my experience with Bull Run was first-rate. Five stars out of five. I would recommend them highly.

This is the 3rd renovation this company has done for us (kitchen; master bath; full bath). They do great work! Sam, our project manager this time around, is very responsive, helpful, and an all-around nice guy. Juan, the main carpenter, is excellent. The whole crew is very respectful, tidy, and efficient. There were a few miscommunication issues, but overall, we are very pleased with the finished product. I would definitely recommend them.

This was our first ever experience with a remodel and it couldn't have gone smoother! When we requested a quote, they were at our home within a few days and we had an estimate within days. Other companies never got back to us. We were in their showroom just a day later to design it and they started when they said they would. Our project manager, Sam, was very good at keeping us up to date on daily progress and what to expect next. Sam was also diligent about making sure we were getting everything we wanted and fixed items very quickly. Sam also went out of his way to get our project done on time and went over and above by ordering extra trim tiles to complete our kitchen and having our back splash picked up instead of waiting for it to be delivered. Just phenomenal customer service by Sam. He also responded to all our questions promptly and clearly. I'd absolutely recommend the entire company company and would ask for Sam again.

Hasan was a miracle worker. He and his team help to calm my older yet sassy mother down after a plumber had taken a huge square out of her shower to make an emergency repair. The insurance company sent other companies that told my mother she had to "gut" her entire bathroom to fix a shower wall that had only a small square cut out of it. Hasan patiently helped my mother through the process of the estimate, selection of materials, and order. Bull Run communicated via email, phone, and text. Each service person was professional and efficient. The end product was a beautiful fully upgraded shower that my mother loves. I would highly reccomend BullRun Kitchen and Bath to anyone based on professionalism, quality product, service and communication. They really took the time to help my mother understand the process and with me living in another state that meant ALOT!!!

Hakan designed the kitchen and bathrooms for my new house. He did a great job and helped me avoid a few mistakes! The results are beautiful. His workmen were punctual, professional and hardworking. They even returned once to adjust a drawer which needed a tweak. I would highly recommend Bull Run Kitchen and Bath.

Everyone was very helpful and cordial. Tracy, Sana and even the owner were great. Sana is our project manager and keeps us informed daily about what's happening next. His workers are eager to help if we have questions and are always pleasant and smiling. I would recommend Bull Run Kitchen and Bath to anyone who needs work done at a reasonable cost and expects professional results. Their work will more than satisfy even the most demanding client.
Bull Run Kitchen and Bath did a full kitchen and master bathroom remodel. Overall, they were very responsive to all communication and performed the work very quickly. Their price was among the best and their workmanship was very good. All the employees who did the work were very friendly, considerate, and did a good job. Any concerns or questions I had were addressed. I would recommend them or consider them for another project.

Bull Run did our master bath remodel - completed the job in May 2018. Quality and workmanship are fantastic. The workers are very professional. Our second/hallway bath was remodeled in August 2018. Sana, our project manager, was absolutely fantastic during the project. He kept us informed on a regular basis. We hope to work with him on our kitchen remodel. We would recommend Bull Run Kitchen & Bath to our family and friends. Truly a great company with exceptional work ethic/standards.
My wife and I purchased a home in Jeffersonton, VA. We decided to remodel the kitchen. We met with a few contractors and then met with Matt at Bull Run. He was very professional and provided great guidance through the project. The initiail reason we chose them was due to the fact that every other contractor was booked through October. Matt said Bull Run could complete the job by the end of July, months ahead of the others. We were glad we chose Bull Run! Everyone we dealt with was comletely professional and a pleasure to work with. Edgar, the main sub who was at our home on a daily basis was almost a member of the family by the time the job was done. And as mentioned, Matt was really great but due to some outside issues had to turn the project over to Salih. He was also a fantastic partner and acted as our advocate through the completion of the project. We never doubted that he had our best interest in mind and that showed up even more when we had some issues with our new gas range at the end. He worked things out to help us remediate the problem and was a true professional about it. I would recommend Bull Run Kitchen & Bath to anyone.
This was a complete interior gut to the drywall; new hardwood flooring, carpet, cabinets, fixtures total redo of 2 1/2 bathrooms...everything. Staff was thorough and detailed starting with Rhonn and project manager Sana. Very helpful design consultation that made the many choices easier to sort through.. Rhonn kept me informed and project manager Sana was great to work with and very helpful.

After looking around of a few months and meeting with 6 different companies we selected Bull Run for our Master and 2nd bathroom remodel. These were 20+ year old bathrooms that had nothing done over the years. Bull Run made things easy. They provided great guidance during the design phase. We had a good idea going in about what we wanted and they steered us in the right direction with design elements that worked with our tastes. The design meeting took about 3 hours do cover selections for both bathrooms. They did the guest bathroom first and would’ve finished at least a week early if not for the rare 10” offset toilet that the builder used. Bull Run went above and beyond doing the extra work necessary to be able to get a standard 12” offset toilet into the bathroom. This included extra drywall work, totally new plumbing and at least 2 to 3 days of extra work - all at no additional charge!!!! The Master bathroom took a full 2 weeks and thankfully no surprises. We did have a ligh fixture crack due to a manufacturer issue, they sent over a replace light a few days after I called them and immediately called to come by to replace the fixture. Across the board they made this easy and painless. They worked within our schedule, cleaned everything up each night and were meticulous with their work. We did focus on price (who wouldn’t) but their approach, selection and flexibility is what made the difference. They were not the cheapest of the companies we talked to but they had the best approach and listened to what we wanted. We will definitely call them again when we start to look to update our kitchen.

A year ago I wanted to have my powder room renovated. Bull Run Kitchen and Bath was the company I chose for the renovation. The result was a beautiful job. I recently used Bull Run again to renovate another bathroom. I was not disappointed. I am extremely happy with the results. Hakan was always helpful and has a knack for “putting things together”. Sana, the project manager, checked in to be sure the project ran smoothly. He consulted with both Edwin and me. Edwin and his crew were fantastic! Edwin is a bit of a perfectionist and takes pride in his work. The tile work in the bathroom is gorgeous! Everyone was professional, polite, and very helpful. The job was finished on schedule. I have one more bathroom to renovate in the future. Bull Run will be the company to do it!
This was absolutely the best experience I've ever had with a remodeling experience. From the Tracy, the sales professional to Sana the project manager to the hard working Antonio and Iris I couldn't have asked for more. I will hire them again to do projects in this home and others. Thanks for making this experience so awesome. We love our new rooms!
