We believed that we obtained a very good quote for equipment and installation. | |We determined, based on our situation, expected time remaining in the house, amount of the investment, and current time of exposure to power outages, it was not a prudent decision to have it installed. If there were a medical situation in the household requiring 100% power or we had frequent power outages/interruptions we would have had it installed immediately. Description of Work: performed maintenance on generac 17kw generator and fixed sticking choke by cleaning and lubricating part -- did not need to replace it. Very impressive, punctual service. Signed up for the annual quarterly maintenance program for the generator. I feel relieved that I have quality, reliable service for my generator which is essential to keep my aviary of parrots warm in this cold weather and alive. Very, very impressive work by very knowledgeable and congenial technician. Imparted a great sense of security that the technician was experienced and knew what he was doing. Description of Work: They conducted several site surveys then designed the back up generator system that fit our needs. They performed all work from laying pipes, permits, electrical and quality review. The work was completed September 22, 2014. They have scheduled a final orientation to the new system for us for tomorrow September 24, 2014.

Description of Work: Wow! A service company that arrives ontime! What a novel idea! They came to check out problems with the outside lamp post. They checked my GFI switch in the master bathroom which was tripping and is on the same circuit as the lamp post which had recently been replaced. They replaced the GFI at no charge and replaced the wiring in the lamp post. Demonstrated by covering the sensor that the light on the post was working. I was very happy with the work and the professionalism of the technicians.

Description of Work: This was for the semi-annual generator maintenance. The technician arrived on-time and was very polite and professional. Services were performed thoroughly and expeditiously.

Description of Work: Fixed electrical problem after AC got installed. They were honest about the problem and it needed far less labor/involvement than anticpated. Also hung a chandelier for me and tried to work out a problem with our light switches.

Description of Work: A technician with crew replaced the gas regulator with a better quality regulator, and repositioned the gas line pipes to accommodate it. It all went very well.

Description of Work: They removed two light fixtures and replaced them with two ceiling fans. While installing the ceiling fans one of the worker dropped a tool and damaged a hardwood floorboard. He did not tell me and I discovered it after they left and I had to send an e-mail to their company. This is the reason for the C for Professionalism. Jim Tharp did reimburse me for the repair of my floor, so he was a Professional! It is too bad his employee was not. Other than that they did an excellent job on the installation. Maybe next time they will be up front with customers when an accident happens. The Angie's List Special was $170.00 and I paid another $150.00 because they had to put in a different box for each fan.

Description of Work: We purchased an annual maintenance/service contract for our 12k generator. During the service call we were told the battery needed to be replaced along with belts. We replaced the battery and decided to have the other work done in a few months, since the estimate is $500.

Description of Work: The did a great job of connecting my TED 5000 whole home electrical monitoring system to my electrical panel. They arrived on-time and fully met my expectations (within budget!).
