They did great work and were so patient in explaining our options and making sure we understood exactly what we were purchasing. They also handled an add-on install without blinking an eye. They walked us through the work they were doing and again once completed. They also get 4 paws up from our mastiff Miracle who found them quite delightful to follow around and try to get their attention.

Zach and Joey confirmed appointment and arrived promptly. They were courteous, direct, efficient and proficient. I would hire them again and have referred them to a friend.

The installation was great. Clean up and restoration of where they had to dig was terrible.

While I am pleased with the service and the technicianâ s knowledge of my problem, I felt that the price was a bit high.

We had Mo and Maurice come out to give estimates on replacing our panels and putting everything into 1 box. They were great at explaining everything they were going to do and the price was very good.

Jacob the Master Electrician was professional, thorough, courteous, and highly knowledgeable. He explained what the problems were within our electric system, how he could remedy the problems, and what the cost for service would be. I was most appreciative of what and most importantly how he provided service.

Very professional

I hired Beacon Electrical for what turned out to be a very simple fix but they were exceptional in both the scheduling, communication, and follow-up. The technician was friendly, professional, and also took the time to educate me on the issue and the solution. I am very happy with the service I received and the cost was below expectation, which is a plus.

I had a house fire and the fire department damaged the panel while putting out the fire. In one day Beacon got a permit pulled, new panel installed, and power restored to the house so my pipes wouldn't freehand repair work could be started. Great company.

It was more expensive than I thought it would be

Work was acceptable but was about 50 % overpriced. I was stupid by not going with someone with a free estimate or a fixed hourly rate. I felt trapped into accepting the estimate so as not to lose the visit fee and then have to search for a new electrician. 780 dollars for 30 minutes of fairly easy labor.

On time. Professional. Efficient. The technician came in and identified our issue right away and within the hour - our light switch was back in working order.

They kept me informed, were on time, courteous, and completed the project quickly and efficiently.

We have lived in this house since 1979 and have used many contractors. Beacon Electric is the best whe have ever had.

I do not recommend Beacon Electrical for the following reasons: I had an external dusk to dawn lamp post that was not working. I was referred by Home Advisor. I have had success in previous referrals from Home Advisor and spoke to the reception at Beacon and scheduled an appointment. During the scheduling, the reception told me that there would be a $59 home visit payment, that would be deducted from the cost of the repair. I agreed to this, as this is standard for pretty much all of the repair people that come to your house. When the repairman arrived, we discussed the issue, and I gave him the background on the issue. At that point, he told me that for him to go any further with a diagnostic, he would need to charge me an additional $225 for him to be able to tell me what was wrong, and to fix it. At that point, I was wondering what the $59 home visit was for. Wanting my lamp working, I authorized him to hook his devise to the lamp post. Once complete, he said that the wiring was working going back to the house, and that it was probably the sensor, and he would go back to his truck and come back with estimates. I then asked him to hook the wiring directly to the lamp head to see if that worked. Fortunately, the lamp head worked. Otherwise, had I not spoken up, he would have included a new lamp head in his estimate. When he returned from his truck, he had 4 different charges. The first one was for $225, and that was for him to do nothing. The second one was for $440 and was for him to replace the sensor and nothing more. The third was for around $600+ and it was for him to replace the sensor and the GFI in the garage (nothing wrong with the GFI). The fourth was for $800+ and was for him to replace the sensor, the GFI in the garage and the exterior electrical outlets. Again, not sure why the GFI and the exterior electrical outlets were included, because they are operational, and he did not even look at them during his time at my house. I chose the $440 option to have the sensor replaced and to make the lamp post operational, as it was the reason that I asked them to come to my house. The repairman spent a total of about 40 minutes at my house. I later called the Beacon Electrical and told them that I had an issue with the initial quote of $59 which later became $225 when the repairman came. I explained the above to the reception and was promised that the Supervisor would call me. It has been 5 days, and still no phone call from the Supervisor. Yes, they fixed the sensor. However, I object to how I was told $59 for the house call and estimate, however, when the repairman came, the troubleshooting ballooned to $225. I believe that $440 is way too much for replacing a sensor on my lamp post. I had previously replaced the lamp post with a new pole several years ago, but apparently the sensor that came with it was defective.

Great service provided and very attentive to scope of work. They are responsive and timely with their work. I would recommend them.

Terribly expensive. One hour's work for $550.
