Service was fine.

DON'T ever use this outfit. They installed 2 complete systems for us in 2003 or 2004. We purchased the extended warranty. We purchased their annual service contracts and they serviced our systems twice per year until June of 2011 when it was finally discovered that they had installed the wrong refridgerant in one of the systems and now the compressor needed replaced. They claimed that "AireServ" was bought by "Refridgeration Specialists" and the new owner was not liable for the extended warranty. The system with the incorrect refridgerant really struggled to cool the house and could never get below 73 degrees. AireServ claimed that the system was acting at full capacity and couldn't do any better. Even though they sized the original installation, they claimed we really needed a new and larger system and they further pushed for us to buy a replacement when it was discovered that the compressor needed replaced due to the incompatible refridgerant. They claimed that Trane would not replace the compressor under warranty. We called in a different contractor "B" who is an authorized Trane installer. Contractor B contacted the district Trane rep and got them to cover the cost of the compressor (district rep was never contacted by Refridgeration Specialists. as they had claimed). The compressor was replaced and the correct refridgerant was installed and the system now is able to easily cool and heat the area without struggling. Over the 8+ years of having the incorrect and incompatible refridgerant we probably spent thousands in additional heating/cooling costs due to the incompetency of AirServ aka Comfort Zone aka Refridgeration Specialists.

Since we are in a contract we don't pay a per visit service charge. They are quite available. We have had them come after work and the owner has even come out a couple of time. There business has grown since they are very good. The slip on shoe covers so they don't mess your house up, hardly anybody does that. In the time that we have had them we have had the furnace and air conditioning compressor replaced. They are competent, clean, honest, and tell us the prices ahead of time. They stick to the prices they give us. If they have any ongoing problems, they come right out to fix it. They are very, very responsive. Our Spring service has to be done when the temperature is a certain degree. They were very good about calling to say what the weather report said. They didn't make you annoyed and you understood what the issue was. They worked to find a good date to come out. They have just been super.

We purchased a complete HVAC system with Humidifier and whole house filtration system when the company was Refrigeration System Inc. We were pleased with the purchase and installation and performance of the system (though I did find out subsequently they did not utilize the outside temp sensor type installation for the humidifier and that was never explained).The company changed hands or name and became AireServ and I found that out when I called for a Fall/pre-Winter check up. That visit went just ok...the technician was more interested in talking and was not very thorough in my opinion. He sold us a contract for $189 and said it covered the seasonal checkups and a discount on other services.In February I called because the Humidifier was running continuously; even when the furnace was not. The tech came out and he was not good. He looked at the control unit mounted on the heat duct near the furnace and noted the display was not working although the unit itself was working. He somehow thought tapping forcefully on the LCD unit was proper technique and then declared it needed replacement. He then told me that it was to be set at 35% and not changed. I explained that the manufacturer's manual said that in the manual configuration it was installed it must be adusted based on outside temp. He said not the manual was wrong because he "knew it". I challenged him and challenged him on why it was not installed with the available outside sensor. He got a little miffed and called his boss and they conversed in Spanish so that I would not know what they were saying and then the boss called me and tried BSing me about the installation and the manufacturer not knowing how to operate their own equipment. He said he would order a new control unit and it would a few weeks. He has never called back. I purchased a new unit myself and installed it and the results are the same; obviously their trouble shooting and problem finding skills are near zero. They are not the same folks I purchased from and I will not do business with them again.

Their price was good and they were punctual. Everything was quality. They did not try to sell us the most expensive. They recommended. The technician came at 7:30 in the morning. I actually woke the guy up and he said it wasn't a problem and he would get a technician out. Their prices were in the ballpark.

They are really good people. They are very good, responsive. They went above and beyond to get the job done right.

Technician very professional. Uniformed and clean. Showed up at the appointed time and was promptly at work after asking the locations of the thermostat and furnace. Service call took about 20-30 minutes since the furnace is under 5 years old and no problems outside of normal maintenance were found. Air filter and humidifier pad needed replacement. Technician was helpful in not only giving Aireserv's price to replace, but gave an alternative solution for a do-it-yourself type like me. That saved me money and was appreciated. He buttoned up the furnace, then reset the thermostat upstairs for a very non-eventful (or stressful) experience. Thanks Aireserv!

Company, when called Comfort Zone was responsive and used them for years. Since being acuired by AireServe, service and culture have dropped considerably. Price of service plan jumped up over previous year. Unresponsive to questions about why, despite repeated calls to inquire.

I worked with John Tomlingson. He gave me a GREAT DEAL -- really wanted the business and leveled with me. He told me exactly what his workers would do and they did it. It took all day, but that was to be expected. I was very pleased.

Price was very high. I asked about energy saver, and sales person neglected to point out that electric heaters do not qualify for tax rebate. Responded with same day service, which was great. Installer was on time, but took 6 hours, soiled the carpet, and left exposed electrical connection.

the system has required multiple visits from Service technicians both in winter (no heat) and in summer (no airconditioning). I have been told it is faulty wiring and that was replaced, a circuit board which was replaced (and I was charged for labor $218.00) The temperature will not go below 80 on hot days and does not stop even if I set the temp. at 80 degrees-it runs constantly. The worst thing is I have been told this is normal. my neighbors who have the same heat pump systems (some quite old) are able to maintain a cool and constant temperature. In order for the very small condo (670sq.ft.) to remain somewhat cooler than outdoors I have to turn the system to off- leave it off for awhile and then turn it back on. I am completely frustrated with AireServ.

They were fantastic. They were very professional and they cleaned their mess after they left. It was unbelievable. Everything was great.

The staff is very knowledgeable and courteous, and they did the work quickly. They were great; they did everything that they said they were going to do and they responded quickly. I did some price shopping and the price was about right for what I bought.

This company was timely, and gave terrific service with competitive rates. I felt that the price was still a little high though, but we are very happy.

I had the problem with the unit for a long time and no one could figure out what it was. They diagnosed the problem very quickly and fixed it. They were very responsive, punctual and provided excellent quality of service. Their service plan was also very good.

Overall quite well. Time will tell with the A/C season if it does as well as he sold us it would. Salesman a little bit persistent telling us how much discount he was giving. I prefer you tell me and give it and quit repeating/reminding. Installation team of Eric and Ricardo very professional and did their work with pride and care. During installation the sales guy stopped by and presented me the paperwork for the "12 months same as cash" financing. Wanted me to sign the papers without reading them...I refused but had to tell him twice I would not sign without reading first.

This company was recommended. I feel that they did a good job. They finished in a day and time frame that they said. They cleaned up. Everything seems to be working well. The price was about average. It was in a normal ball park range. They put in a Trane system and we should get a rebate. Around $250.00 rebate, not sure.

They made the time to squeeze our repair in after discovering the problems during a check up in the winter. Compared to other companies in the area, they were about $1000 less. After using their service, I signed up for a two year contract with them.

Aire Serv has been great for us. When the old a/c died, they spent time explaining options. Once we made the decision, they were out very quickly to install. Technicians have been friendly and punctual. I have always had the sense that they care about our family's comfort when the old system has problems. We get quick service, and they have always stuck to their appointment window. They are also understanding of the fact that every family does not have unlimited resources for upgrades.

Very good - we got quotes from three companies and went with AireServ because of a combination of price and reputation. They turned up when they said they would, did a great job, were clean and efficient, and are always very helpful and friendly.
