Description of Work: Able Moving was the single best moving company I have ever seen. They answered my call professionally; scheduled my service quickly, changed my service date with no complaints; arrived on time; performed exceptional work; met all deadlines; everything arrived in good condition; the delivery guys were neat, didn't trash my yard, didn't smoke or drink. The experience was nothing short of an A+, and I would never use any other company again. They set the standards for moving, and I would recommend them for anyone.

Description of Work: These guys were very professiional, on time, and reasonable. I have used 6 other moving companies in my life and they were the best.

Description of Work: We first called them for an estimate. At the time, we expected to be moving from our house and a storage site in the District to another storage site in Mclean and an apartment temporarily. The estimate was reasonable. So we accepted. About a week and half before the actual move, we learned we would be able to move directly to the new house rather than into an apartment. The new house was within five or ten minutes of the original apartment and storage site we planned to move to. I let our contact know and told him we expected to add a few more pieces of furniture. He said the estimate was still probably about on target. On the day of the actual move, four movers arrived within the window they gave us. They were friendly and professional. At least two of them spoke English. The final cost came to about the estimate. Our only complaints are: the movers should have taken a bit more care moving the stuff into the new place in terms of laying down protection on the floors. It was a raining for the first part of the move so difficult to avoid tracking stuff into the house. They also arrived with no information about the fact that we were moving directly to the house rather than storage and the condo. They were able to adjust, but we found it disturbing that they appeared to have none of the new information we had given our original contact several days earlier. They also took at least twice as long to arrive at the new destination because they said their truck was not allowed on 66, so they had to use much slower routes. We did some searching afterwards for this rule about 66 and found some conflicting information. It was also unclear if it applied to our size truck. If it is true, it would have been nice to have that information ahead of time. The truck was also substantially larger than what we needed. It was at most 3/4 full. Last, at least one of the movers spent time towards the end repacking/organizing their materials on the truck rather than moving our stuff out - we shouldn't have to pay for that as part of our move.
