Description of Work: I purchased a diagnostic from Angie's List because my A/Christian hasn't been cooling like it should. They came and performed it and found my unit needed to be cleaned. They did that and made suggestions how I can prevent this in the future. They were very nice and professional. I would definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: My heat pump was not working. They came and assessed the problem and determined that I needed a new system (heat pump and furnace). When it was installed, the system kept blowing fuses. They sent staff to troubleshoot and find the source of the problem and ensure that it worked properly. In five visits, their staff exhibited professionalism and a determination to make sure the new system worked.

Description of Work: $49 for the Angie's List service call offer, $85 for a new capacitor. I don't know how much it would have cost elsewhere but the convenience of their Angie's List service was worth ever penny. | |I bought the service offer at 8:30 pm when we realized the a/c unit was broken. They called before 8 am to give us the first appt slot of the day. All was fixed by 9:30 am.

Description of Work: We called Lloyd after another firmed failed to return calls and keep appointments. Lloyd's appeared quickly and handled the needed work (adding freon to old heat pump. They also noted the deterioration to the heat pump and offered competative prices on a replacement for next spring.

Description of Work: The heat would not come on in our house one morning. It was a Saturday, but LLoyd's had a person out to our house within two hours. He not only got the heat working (a failed safety interlock), but noted a drain problem in the condensate line that was generating a stain in the ceiling of our garage, above which the HVAC unit was located. Fixing this problem could not be accomplished during that visit, so we elected to contract with LLoyds for an annual maintenance contract Spring AC checkup/service and Fall heater checkup/service on both of the HVAC units in our home. They came out a few weeks later when we scheduled the Spring checkup and did the drain repair as well. The service technicians have been very polite and professional and we are very happy with the responsive service and the reasonable prices. We even got a 15% percent discount on the initial visit as a new customer. We highly recommend Lloyd's Heating and Cooling to anyone in their service area that needs a good HVAC service provider.

 + -1 moreWe converted a screen porch into the sunroom (350sqft) and needed to provide heating and cooling. We talked to several contracters, telling that we were interested in ductless unit because our main system did not have the capacity to handle the additional load. We had heard good things about Mitsubishi units and wanted to consider them first. Several tried to sell us second standard system. Lloyd's came out, gave us a verbal estimate to install a MB unit; at a slightly lower cost than the other rough estimates we had received via telephone. They backed that up several days later with a written estimate. There was a minor question about how a certain part of the installaiton should be completed so we asked them to confirm what we wanted: the owner came out and assued us that they could do what we wanted (which they did exactly as he had committed.) When we decided to move forward, they scheduled the the install for a couple of weeks out to give us time to install the needed 240 power (which we elected to have another contractor handle) and for the unit to arrive from the factory. On the install day, they arrived early, finished the install same day, working around the eccenticities of our room. We love the unit, have had no issues with the installation and are very satisfied with the service we received from the Lloyd's staff.
