Description of Work: The technician replaced the switches to the outdoor water lines and provided a very thorough plumbing inspection. The cost of my voucher was applied to the services rendered. The technician was very patient and even prioritized the list of items that needed to be repaired. He also provided estimated costs for each item. I would definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: I don't know the dates of my last dealing with this company because I call them all the time. They are very reasonable, price wise, professional and good in whatever I have had to call them to address for me. I love them & will continue to call on them when I need them.

Description of Work: I ordered the Big Deal-- water heater tune up. McCarthy's did the tune up including draining the sediment out and all was good. This is the second time I have used this company and I plan to use them again.

Description of Work: While the technician was very friendly, he informed us that the cost would actually be $300, as they would need to drill through to the interior wall, which would also damage the interior of the basement, resulting in additional costs. We were not comfortable with this fee, and opted not to move forward. The technician was very understanding and did not charge us for his time.

Description of Work: It went okay. No cleaning was done inside or on outside unit. No anti algae treatment was done . Saw unit was older provided a couple items to fix/correct and recommended to replace unit and got me an apptment same day within 2 hrs window. No decision made yet.

Wanted to charge another fee to complete the job but when I pointed out they had told me it would be $99 for the whole job before they came, they agreed to do it. Other reviews complained of similar tactics so I was prepared. The job was well done and the price was very good but I would be wary of bait and switch tactics.

Description of Work: McCarthy services rep provided outstanding professionalism and honesty when accessing the problems with my exterior faucet. I was particularly impressed that he immediately determined it was my hose that was the problem vice the faucet. This was particularly good news in light of the fact that had the faucet needed replacement, it would require a major deconstruction of our exterior dining room wall to replace. All this and he charged us nothing!

Description of Work: Technician examined 3 outside AC units -- did not examine one of inside furnaces because it was located in the attic and he would not go up there without my paying an additional $$ -- although there was no such condition on their offer. That all units had to be ground-level was not disclosed in offer. Offer only included an examination and estimate to address (not fix) one AC unit and to charge a second (needing about 2 lbs of puron - reluctant to use my own puron to recharge so did not recharge anything) was extremely high without an assurance that the inoperable AC unit would be fixed. I did not like being asked to pay extra for the $39 check on one furnace simply because it was located in an attic area and required use of a ladder to get to the entry door in the ceiling. So I feel that I did not get the full value of the examination price on one furnace because of its location. It was simply not checked.
