Description of Work: I bought a faucet tune up but knew I needed more than that. The tech showed up on time and took a look at the issue and said he'd get back to me with a quote. Got the quote and approved the work and all went great. Even though there was no access point for the faucet he was able to fix it and installed a much better one. All in all a great experience to a tough issue. Plus they tuned up another faucet instead so all outside faucets are working great now.

Description of Work: Our toilet was flushing poorly. They came in and snaked it, and also adjusted the water flow - it was set previously to save water. This did not correct the problem, our toilet is still not flushing well.

Description of Work: I needed the leaky hose bib on the front of my townhouse fixed. McCarthy was 2 hours late and then came up with an estimate of $700+. When I asked why it was so expensive I was told that "people don't understand what's involved". Yeah, that's why I asked. Ended up getting advice from a friend and fixing it myself for about $50.

Description of Work: The serviceman replaced my outside faucet. He explained that the inside shutoff was old and probably should be replaced because it was difficult to turn off but did not pressure me into this or any other service. He indicated that I could use a pressure reducer valve. He gave me an estimate for these two additional tasks but did not pressure me. I elected to have this done next spring. I would use them again. He was only 15 minutes late which was no big thing. He wore plastic boots in the house to keep from getting my carpet dirty.
