He replaced the faucet washer and then left.

Had a gas leak noted during home inspection for newly purchased property. Previous owners had McCarthy put in a new HVAC this year, so had them come out to fix the leak (hoping it was covered by the warranty). The leak was off the water heater so I was charged, but they were prompt, quick and out the door shortly after. Can't recommend them yet for big tasks, as I haven't used them for anything major but the HVAC system (electric cool/gas heat combo) works well enough and I'd use the company again.

We used the coupon for our floor drain in the basement that we've had chronic problems with water leaking during laundry spin cycles. The plumber snaked the drain and did not get much out of it. When he inspected the drain with the camera he found several problems. The width and slope were incorrect and there were portions of the drain rotting through. They estimated $2500 to replace 5-14 feet of the drain by digging up the floor. We are in the process of getting other estimates but may go with McCarthy.

It went very well, and I plan on using them again.

The deal did not include parts. So the worker went to his truck to get the part and find the price. He came back with the part, which is about the size of your fist, in a box and told me that it cost $495. I didn't believe it, so I took the box, photographed the model number (3/4-inch NR3XLDULU) and ran it through Google.

We expected to have a Free Video Inspection but the Technician did not do that. We told the tech to check out the drainage from the washer to the kitchen sink, there maybe a clog. He said there was no connecting pipe from the washer. But later we showed to him seems the the sound of clogging water flow. He said that he could use the snake to clear the clog. But we need to replace the disposal for the cost of $500. The was nothing wrong with the disposal, because it's still working. So we did not want to replace it. After ran a snake through the pipe line he still did not clear the clog, and wanted to cut the ceiling walls... They advertise to provide a free Video Inspection, but did not honor the service.

The hot water heater is upstairs. Hence, it did not allow the hot water to flow down. The plumber rerouted the piping. Now I've enough hot water downstairs.

I had two leaky faucets -- one at the kitchen sink, another at an outside frost-free hose fixture. I purchased an Angie's List coupon for McCarthy Services @ $89 to fix them. They offered me an appointment within 24 hours "between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m." Their plumber arrived at 10:15 a.m. Aside from being prompt, he was very pleasant, efficient and courteous. After repairing the outside and hot-water kitchen faucet, he recommended replacing the cold-water washer as well. He did so at no extra cost,. I will definitely call McCarthy services again.

Two-person team arrived within the agreed to timeframe. Very respectful demeanor and clean uniforms. They explained what they were going to do consistent with the Big Deal coupon/list of services. Quickly and efficiently performed the tasks. Once the "bad" PRV was discovered, they let me see the high pressure reading and suggested replacement. Once I agreed, they had to go and buy a new one. I watched the very professional installation of the new PRV. After turning the main water valve back on, the two professionals ran each faucet in the house, in turn, to bleed the air out of the pipes. They also cleared one sink that drained slowly. Well done!

Technician was about 2 hours late, though kept in contact after about 30 minutes late. There was a meeting that caused the tech to be across town before the first job of the day (mine). Not a major deal, but inconvenient. He arrived and was very professional and got right to work. He began the hot water heater flush and while that drained, checked all our faucets. During this, the up-sells were kept at a minimum (something I'm always weary of). He quoted the Anode rod replacement as he checked the one out in ours and it did look pretty bad at 7 years. I did my research and was pretty sure this would come up. The quote was initially $300, but that seemed high as the part alone is about $35. However, rather than pull everything apart again myself we agreed upon a price and he replaced it. Beyond that, everything checked out fine and went as expected. Would do business again. The technician was professional and was in and out relatively quickly without cutting corners.

They were wonderful and the job took longer than intended but they didn’t charge me extra. I was definitely thrilled with their service and will call them again.

From beginnig to end it was flawless. They were extremely neet and kept us advised when needed to get the best installation and fix issues that coukd cost the homeowner future problems ie shut off valves at the toilet and the main house shut off.

They were not really good; that is very disappointing. They were late and we waited, we needed a first thing in the morning appointment so they gave me a 8:00-9:00 window and they called at 8:30 to confirm that they were coming and the person checked on the coming and he said that he would be here by 9:00. He showed up at 9:10, though my husband had to go and get him because my husband was like waiting to go to work and then he couldn't figure out what was wrong with our toilet and he was not professional or courteous like he couldn't even know what I needed like to say hi or anything. I was just very disappointed with the customer service and then he just took a really long time with some things that were obviously not working. Even my husband who tried to fix the toilet knew what he was doing was not going to work and needed to keep trying it over and over. And he had to like call people to try to figure out what was wrong and my husband was like if it can't be up to the page then just move on because my husband was like he doesn't know what to do so let us just kind of end the call and not charge us and he wasn't allowed to do that by his supervisors I guess. So he was calling them to kind of figure out what was wrong with the toilet and then at the end of the two hours he just told us that there is a crack somewhere and you need to replace the toilet. It might be true but we were not very confident that that's going to happen but we are going to hire someone else to look at the same problem.

Very professional, not cheap, but I would use them again in a minute.

McCarthy services cleared a blockage in the pipe under our foundation. They were very friendly and professional. They left the space they worked in exactly the way it was before they arrived. I was very impressed with their knowledge and they didn't rush the job. This was only the 2nd in a series of troubleshooting efforts to assess an ongoing problem. We ultimately settled the problem with another plumbing company, but I believe McCarthy to be very capable and would recommend them.

Excellent service. We used an Angie's List Big Deal for 2hrs of plumbing services for $89. Randall arrived on time, was neat and professional, and replaced the valve. He did have to run to several plumbing stores to find the correct part but did not charge for the time beyond the agreed two hours. The new valve and stem cost an extra $20. Based on his work quality and professionalism, I will see what else McCarthy Services can do when my current heating/AC contract runs out.

Plumber was friendly, helpful, and quick.

The were polite, neat and expedited the process. It was a lovely experience with this side of McCarthy, also.

It was just amazing. I can't tell you how happy I am with them and the system. The price is extremely reasonable. They were very neat, clean and polite. It was a very efficient procedure.

I ordered the deal on Angie's list for $100 for 2 hrs of household plumbing because my kitchen faucet just started to act up (made this jackhammering sound). I called to schedule the appointment and they said that this service would be covered by the deal and they could come the same day if needed. I scheduled for a later day in the week in the morning. Even though we scheduled an appointment for 9AM, the plumber didn't show up until about 10:30 - I waited until 9:30 until I called the office to find out what was going on and they told me that the plumber had to address an emergency, which I totally understand, but still, it would have been nice if they at least called me to let me know they would be late. Once he did show up, he quickly identified the problem, and rather than wait for a replacement part that needed to be ordered, I opted to replace the faucet. The plumber was kind enough to wait in his truck while I ran to Home Depot to pick out a faucet. Once I returned, he quickly installed it and it works great and looks great too. In the end I was expecting to have to pay extra since he definitely went over the 2 h covered in the deal, but he didn't charge any extra which really impressed me. I will definitely go with these guys again.

The provider was professional, punctual and unclogged the drain quickly.

When the plumber arrived, he stated the special should have said $100 off the specific function performed. He stated they charged by the job, not by the hour. The quote was $720, but he took $100 off because I purchased the deal from Angie's List. He then knocked another $100 off for some reason. So, the final quote was $520. I declined service at that time, but will call them back to get clarity on the voucher I purchased. I'm not sure why it was advertised 100 for 1 of 7 services, but then changed when the plumber arrived.

Everything went great. They fixed all the problems. The guys were very nice. They also showed us some things which we can fix ourselves, ultimately we didn't do it ourselves, but it was nice to have that option available. They were very good. They were here right on time. The price was fair. We hadn't had any problem with any of the things they fixed.

After my original HVAC service company failed on 3 visits to identify and correct the problem (water leaking from the pan of the metal container under airhandler soaking the flooring) and did not show up for another appointment, I called John Nugent & Son for an inspection. Within minutes I was told I need a new heat pump & airhandler and quoted $6900 but an upgrade was recommended for $8500. After consulting Angie's List for HVAC services, I called McCarthy Services. Richard Harry, General Manager, came the next day. He was VERY professional, inspected all equipment, discovered faulty refrigerant line, blown-off duct covers and the second heat pump needed leveling (which neither Cascde Comfort Service nor Nugent & Son had noticed). Price for everything was $6980 which included John Nugen'ts 'upgraded' heat pump and a $600 senior discount. The work was performed the next day. The technicians--Bill and Gary-- were fantastic: first they put drop clothes on all flooring from the outside door to the work area, wore shoe covers and left the the place spic and span .Another noteworthy thing, their uniforms and vehicles were neat and clean! Now this is what I call SERVICE and CUSTOMER CARE!! From now on I will call McCarthy Services for all my HVAC & Plumbing needs and highly recommend the company! Marga Dice, Great Falls
