We were in the middle of having our tub resurfaced in our condo and discovered one of the faucet handles had a leak and needed replacement in order to finish the job (you can't have any moisture when resurfacing a tub). So, we had to quickly contract a plumber to come in and fix it. McCarthy Services came calling quickly to help with the situation. After assessing the faucet repair, they realized all the parts needed to be replaced (they were old and custom order). As a stop gap, they installed a hot & cold shut off valve so we could at least finish the resurfacing job (the tub could not sit without sealant for too long). We actually needed a shut off valve for emergencies, as the building and pipes are very old. McCarthy even referred us to a parts supplier to pick up the faucet/handles ourselves to save on another service call. I can't remember the technician's name, but he and his helper were great --- professional, timely and the pricing was upfront and fair.

Little issue that was resolved timely.

Overall, I was satisfied with the service, but I felt that there were some details that were missed.

Had a phone consultation and I thought it was my disposal in the sink and they think it is actually a problem with my dishwasher and they do not do appliance work.

Great experience from start to finish. The price was sticker shock but Brian S. helped me get thru it and was extremely professional. Jeremy and Travis were the installers and they couldn't have been more polite and courteous. They did a great job and I'd highly recommend asking for them for your next install!

They came out and inspected the furnace and informed me that I would need a new igniter. I decided to purchase the part on my own for $38 and I called another company to come out and install it. When this other company's owner came out to install the new igniter he let me know the existing igniter was in great condition, did not need replacing and would last for years. I contacted McCarthy Services to let them know about this. McCarthy Services sent out a second technician on 10/28/14 and he confirmed that the existing igniter was in good condition and the first technician was in error. McCarthy Services said they would send me a check not only to cover the cost of the part $38 but also to cover the cost of the service call $85 for the other company. I have been waiting now for over a month to receive this check and still have not received it yet. I have contacted them about not receiving the check yet and I get one excuse after another. I am very disappointed with their service, or lack there of and would not recommend this company to anyone.

Good. He runs his own company, but I didn't have an inordinate wait for an appointment.

They spent a lot of time to try to resolve the issue. They were helpful and made some recommendations. We are currently implementing their suggestions in hopes to resolve the issue.

Kevin Walker was polite. He covered his shoes to walk in my house & did an excellent job.

The rep seemed professional and was on time. Our system is older, but works fine by our standards, but we wanted to know if there was anything wrong. He told us nothing was really wrong with it, but recommended a lot of expensive things, like charging the freon and telling us we needed to replace the system. I sort expected one of those, but found it strange that the rep tried to sell us on a new system, scheduled the appointment, and then no one showed up. We didn't call for the second appointment to point out that no none had shown up, as we were really not interested in replacing the unit while it still worked fine.

The service was ok. I felt like the tune up was not quite as detailed as the description states but the work was ok.

It went wonderfully well. He was punctual, professional, courteous, and did a great job.

I bought the deal with the misunderstanding that this would include the filter cleaning of the HVAC unit. I went ahead and bought the furnance one as well to have both reviewed and serviced at the same time but the overall point was the HVAC. The company was great about calling but the service was cancelled upon realizing the misunderstanding.

The gentle explained step by step what was wrong and informed me that my system was a older model and that it would need to replaced in approx. 2 to 3 years.

After several hours of layout changes and recommendations, their design specialist left me with the same design my current closet was in due to limitations on how their closet organizers are installed. I received several estimates ranging from one thousand to several thousand dollars for their 'custom' closet solutions depending on if I purchase on the spot and sign a contract or not. Appointment said 90 minutes, but total time took about 2.5 hours, and I didn't even get a decent estimate emailed to me with plans. I also wanted to get my closet doors replaced, but they do not provide that service - they only do the closet organizing systems that get installed inside. It's a heavy handed sales pitch, and I decided not to use their services.

Service Technician (Christian V) was professional and did a nice job reviewing my unit. He had the autonomy to offer a credit should I end up purchasing a new furnace. Christian did a nice job. The Fall Tune was a very good price. I have no idea or time to research a better deal for the sensor replacement. Since I had a temporary issue earlier this month, I paid the $110 since it could have been what cause the issue. Issue: I had to book closer to a month in advance due to my schedule conflicts. During the 3rd hour of my 4 hour window, I call McCarthy to ask if they were still coming. They quickly dispatched a technician, who the arrived outside of my 4 hour window which caused a slight problem because I had another servicer working at the time.

Great. They were professional & complete with doing the furnace check. I was concerned about an outside wire, they helpedcwith making it safe. Made suggestions for the attached humidifier. Checked 2 furnace systems.

It didn't. After arranging a date and estimated time for service...I recieved a call a week prior to my service saying they did not have a scheduled date and time for my call. As a single, working parent, my time is very valuable, and the fact that they did not have my appointment in their records (after a time was already arranged) was not acceptable.

Sales specialist Brian S. was very helpful, responding to my many phone calls and emails, as I was on a steep learning curve to determine which system to purchase as my furnace failed in February. He patiently answered all of my questions, provided multiple options with details and pricing, and then scheduled the installation. The technicians that installed my new Lennox system, which consisted of a new furnace, air conditioner, heat pump, humidifier and WiFi thermostat, were at my home for over eight hours, some even working outside for hours in the falling snow. The technicians were hard-working and friendly. I would highly recommend both the sales and service teams at McCarthy Services.

Plumber arrived on time and was very personable and helpful. Job took about 40 minutes and faucet now works fine.

It worked out very well. Tim came out and fixed it right away. He was on time and was very professional.
