Did not think that the flap was the only cause for running toilet. Since then I had to call someone else.

They are friendly and very good but the people who installed the system weren't friendly and not good. I don't know if they set it up right or not because I am still having a problem. I may either have to call the company that made the machine -lennox or the sub contractor about it. I think their pricing is very high.

The deal price was good. However once they got started the deal price didn't cover much and they kept adding extra costs which should have been included in the deal. The way they handled the billing is the reason I won't use this company again.

generally fine with identified issue. But could not repair as the spot is very tight and rusty to remove the faucet. I had bought a new one from costco and wanted to fit in but unfortunately do that because of the wrong size.

I used an Angie's Big Deal to replace the outside hose bib. The plumber, James, was prompt, personable, and professional. He did such a great job that I had him repair a faucet that wasn't working properly. I liked him so much that I arranged for McCarthy Services to handle my AC/HVAC work as well and had great experiences with that team as well. McCarthy Services can expect to be getting my business going forward!

the service was to check and tune up my air conditioner. Overall, it was good. The person was trying to sell me a lot of extra by trying to tell me certain part of the a/c could be broken soon and etc. It seems like a sales pitch but its to be expected especially when the tune up and inspection was only 30 dollars.

The absolute best part about this service was the guarantee. For a company to offer a full 1 year guarantee on the work that was performed was very satisfying. It is hard to balance quality of work with price in today's market with such vast competition. We've used McCarthy to do our full HVAC in the past, so I knew of their quality work, but to see that a routine maintenance fix was guaranteed for 1 year spoke volumes to their workmanship. The drain works as it should right now, so I'm pleased it was resolved, but I'm happy to know that if the problem reoccurs in the next year, McCarthy will stand by their work and fix it.

Technician was competent. The work was well done. Unfortunately, he was also surly and rude. He appeared to be a sub-contractor hired by McCarthy.

It was okay. They showed up on time but they ended up charging which I thought was a ridiculous amount. They took them 5 minutes to do the job.

It was great. I used the company and it was the coolest thing. They just didn't advertise what they were going to do, but they did it. They did a free plumbing inspection. They gave recommendation for the low pressure thing, so that was what I really liked about them. They were on time and they were good.

Felt liek they were not here to repair the toilet, just there to upsell me. i dont think it would cost $200 to unclog a toilet, not mentiointing the 100 credit i had towards the deal. I felt like my time was wasted. I felt like they were not their to repair my issue, they were just there to up sell me a new toilet. The deal i purchased included a $100 credit towards repair. They told me to unclog the toilet it would be an additional $200.00. I felt like I wasted my time.

It was fine. The job that the guy did was fine but it was incredibly expensive. The guy was nice and prompt.

They informed you that they only service gas and electric service and hot water heaters. What I have is oil heating furnace and oil hot water heater.

My overall experience was good. I had some service issues with the system since then everything then was free of charge because everything was under warranty at the moment. They're reputable provider, they are understanding in customer's situation that they're always looking to help in any which way they can. They're definitely very competitive within the market as far as their service offering and equipment offering.

I've purchased these deals before, and they usually come with a hard sell from the service guy telling you how inferior your HVAC system is, how expensive it is to keep it because it is so inefficient, and what bad shape it is given it is only 13 years old and the manufacturer says it should last 20+ years. They usually want to convince you to spend thousands on upgrades and service agreements. Luckily, I had no such experience with McCarthy. The serviceman was professional, polite, and receptive of what I was looking for. For 'upgrade' type options I inquired about, he was realistic and gave me a range of price options for how to reach a solution to my issues. I certainly would recommend them for future needs.

It went well. They were professional, but he did come late as they were very busy.

Tech was on time and through in his inspection and checking of the whole heating system. made recommendations on future maintenance actions to be taken and areas to be aware of. spent a full hour with us and answered all our questions. Clean, professional and friendly.

They were great. I've since recommended them to other people who have used them and also liked them.

Quoted a replacement price of $7,700 versus a quote of $4,600.

we had a great experience with this company. I did not expect too much considering the amount of money paid for the Angie's deal. But the technician that came out to our house was extremely thorough. He performed a comprehensive assessment of the interior and exterior parts of our heating and cooling system, cleaned out the drain pipe, and wrote up a detailed evaluation. Plus, with these deals there is always a danger of an up sell. There was absolutely no pressure from the tech to do any incremental work.

They were fast and got the job done well. I got a few estimates and McCarthy was the least expensive by far.

The technician arrived on time and performed various inspections on the upstairs and basement furnace and informed me of potential hazards and recommended replacing both units due to age and wanted to schedule a followup appointment for replacement.

This was a simple copper pipe repair and he quoted me a ridiculous price of $350. I told him I've had this repair done before and I know it doesn't cost that much so he came down to $179. I then let him know I purchased the $100 of services for $40 coupon and he wasn't too happy. The work he done was excellent but I don't like to haggle that much over price.
