They are professional. I called them, they came on time and did a good job.

The gentleman they sent was very nice but the price quote was so high.

Technician completed the job, but took a bit more time and effort than was really necessary. Price was a bit high for the work needed, but was a fixed price for the job-- regardless to complexity. Technician was very friendly and job was completed in a fully satisfactory manner.

It turned out that the non-functioning AC was something I could have fixed myself, but the technician didn't make me feel stupid about it. I felt like I got my part of my money's worth in advice about some future upgrades to my heating/cooling system, so it wasn't a waste. He was very knowledgeable, and I'll consider this company when I'm ready to do those upgrades.

Not v satisfied with service since provider was more keen on getting business with scare tactics. Told us Heating system was cracked and was dangerous. Also said he could have someone come and give me a quote for replacing the system the very next day!!! System works just fine and we had it looked at by another company.

My A/C unit has been leaking since last summer, so I knew that needed to be replaced before the summer. Then my ancient hot water heater started leaking, and I knew I needed to start collecting quotes ASAP. A friend of mine used McCarthy Services and had good things to say, so we included them in our research. We ended up with three quotes, and McCarthy Services had the best quote, not by a huge amount, but they were very informative when looking over my HVAC system. We decided to go with McCarthy and they showed up the next week on St. Patrick's Day. I figure that having them show up on St. Patrick's Day was a good omen. It was. They were able to get everything done in one day. Their workers were on time, finished in a timely manner, and polite. I only waited to post my review because I finally started to use my A/C unit regularly because of this wacky weather. Oddly, I used my heat a ton in March and April, so I now feel comfortable with everything they replaced. I can say that my home heats and cools much quicker than it used to, and my hot water is continuous without interruption. I am very happy with everything.

.Showed up late for first appointment, I left for work after the window time had passed. Showed up late for the next appointment. We asked him to look at two faucets that were loose. He looked at one and offered to install a new one for $300 if we provided the faucet. (I bought a new one and installed it in 2 hours, and I am an amateur). The second one he was able to tighten, using no parts. We had a coupon for a $150 credit. He was at the house for 45 minutes and after taking our coupon credit, demanded an additional $99. Never, never, never again.

He checked the thermostat, flue pipe, circulator pipe, pilot, burners, and radiators, boiler system. Deemed them to all be operating ok. This was borne out by the following winter, when everything operated satisfactorily.

Went well. Very efficient and neat. Used coupon so $150 off for that plus received 10% senior discount. I hope this was a good price as I have no experience with plumbing.

They were terrible. They tried to sell me a $4000 system, and I called another vendor, and they said there were no cracks in the furnace, and they didn't know what the other guy was looking at, so they were terrible. I used Consumer Check book to get these other guys, and they were very professional, and they asked what the guy was talking about. So, I really hate them, he was trying to sell me a $4000 furnace. They were all pleasant, but in essense they were trying to sell me almost right away a $4000 system. I paid $89 to another vendor to come and do another inspection. Either McCarthy's is a scoundrel and trying to bait and switch people to buy furnaces, or they are incompetent, and they don't know what they are talking about. They were here right away trying to sell me a new system.

They were on time and professional. We really liked them.

I can see how some businesses make money, if they are not generating revenue they will find a way. I will never recommend this. I am truly an easy person to please. But this was obvious of both not working properly after they left.

I contacted ARS/Roto Rooter, where I have an HVAC contract. They hooked me up with their partner, McCarthy Services. The plumber was scheduled to arrive between 3 and 7 pm. The dispatcher called, as promised, to let us know the plumber was on his way around 6:15. The plumber called about 30 minutes later to say he was stuck in traffic. Upon arrival, he immediately waived the dispatch fee and discounted the price of the work. After assessing what needed to be done, he discovered that he didn't have the necessary parts in his truck, so he left to go pick them up. Upon his return, he further discounted the work to make up for the inconvenience the delays. The leak was promptly fixed and he identified other trouble areas we should consider addressing.

I was scheduled between 8 am and 12 pm he didn't call me until after 3 pm at which time I was no longer available. I have requested a refund from Angie's List.

They scammed me. The guy came out and checked my AC unit and wrote me $600 cost of work that I needed.

It was ok. I thought it wound up being kind of expensive, but I guess that's how plumbers are nowadays. He came out within 2 days. He did a good job.

Technician arrived on time. Inspected both units, the deal apparently included *inspection only* anything that technician discovered with my units (cleaning of an igniter, burner, ) was offered for a fee, the deal did not include any service besides inspection. But I guess you get what you pay for. so no complains.

The provider called me to set up an appointment within an hour of me purchasing your deal. However, when the provider learned I live in Condo, they told me the ANgies list deal is NOT VALID for CONDOS. THey said Angies will refund my money. I'm so disappointed. They are an A listed plumber. Will Angies be as prompt refunding my $99?

The service went okay. I had them work on the furnace. The furnace did not seem to run as efficiently after the service as it had in the past. One technician came out and completed the work in about 20 minutes. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

We had a leak in our kitchen from our upstairs bathroom. Our home warranty sent out a plumber - twice but they did not fix the problem. McCarthy services came out and it was fixed in no time and and it has been dry as a bone, They were prompt professional and I would use them again.
