Innovative Inc

This is an outstanding painting company and I am glad I chose them to paint my house. They did an excellent job. They started and finished when they said they would. They patched and painted 4 bedrooms/2 baths, family room, kitchen/dining, closets, ceilings, doors and trim. The painters cleaned up after themselves. Communication was easy with the owner and office staff. I would use this company again.

Team was very punctual and polite. Worked through lunches to meet planned completion dates. Cleaned up effectively and efficiently. Compared to other companies I've experienced, Innovative brought a full team with very experienced pro's, and they completed the work quickly and completely per our agreement.

We did not use them because they were too far away.

Don't assume the ceiling will look right once you paint the walls.

I used Angie's list to find interior painting companies that service Alexandria, VA. After receiving several quotes that were all pretty comparable, I chose to go with Innovative, Inc. Alex, my primary contact throughout, was professional and provided a good overview of the cost estimates for the work I requested. When I had questions on the scope of the work being done, Innovative was able to make clarifications in the contract of work. When the work began on May 10, Alex showed up with 4 painters promptly. They started in on prepping and helped move furniture once they arrived. I was impressed with the speed they were able to work and also the precision of their work. I was pleasantly surprised they were able to complete everything in 2 days, including my vaulted ceilings, which I thought could pose a challenge. I stopped by several times each day and the workers would ask questions about how I wanted specific things painted. Overall, I am very pleased with the end product. The ceilings and living area (including all the trim and spindles on the stairs) look great. I especially love the painting in the bedroom. I would definitely use Innovative, Inc again for any painting needs.

I first contacted Innovative Painters last fall. They returned my call, came out to look over the job, and provided a quote in just a few days time. The quote was very competitive. They started to prep the job but the early winter surprised us all. Not wanting to jeopardize the quality of the work, Innovative suggested we wait until the spring to finish the prep and painting. As soon as the weather began to look promising, Innovative called to schedule resuming the job. Every time the weather turned unfavorable, they suspended the job and came back as soon as the weather cleared. Instead of being in a hurry to finish and get paid, Innovative showed extraordinary care for doing the job right. Everybody was pleasant, polite and accommodating. When there was a small mixup on a repair, they smiled and just fixed it to my satisfaction. No pointing fingers, no additional charges, and no hassle. From beginning to end, Innovative was first rate. In addition to painting, they repaired a couple of rotted window sills and replaced several boards of wood siding. Everything looked great when they were done.

The contractor gave me an estimate and I have never heard back from them. They did not return any of my calls so I am not interested in working with them.

We were satisfied. They came to do the work with in a month and we spent an extra $500 above the quote because they also painted our porch ceiling. They were good and we would recommend them .

Innovative Inc. was professional and responsive. They scheduled the walk-through quickly over the phone, and Alex (who came to the house) seemed knowledgeable and professional. Their estimate was in line with others, but we decided to use a painter with whom we had an established relationship. I would certainly consider using them in the future, though!

It was a great experience working the Innovative Painters. I had two rooms painted, the entry to one room moved, a closet closed in one room and opened in another, and a new closet built. Alex gave me my bid and did a great job designing the closets. The team did a great job and worked really hard. They started and completed the job in the time they said they would. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them. Alex who oversaw the job and Gabriela in the office were very responsive and checked in regularly to make sure all was well and that I was happy with the work.

It was very good overall. They didn’t charge anything above and beyond the coupon I purchased. They came out when I wasn’t home, did the painting and they did it in more than one day. It was staged because we had to work around the weather. At one point, we went back and said you need to come back and finish up a little around the door, they said no problem and they did one more coat, and finished it. It looks great. They were responsive. They did a good job on the painting. I was pleased with the way the trim looked on the house and with the coupon, they were very reasonable. They called and communicated with me and I could call them back and say we are not quite done, they need to do some around the doors and they took care of it. So I would recommend others to call them. My husband was there and he had to open the windows and remove all the screens. They didn’t tell us upfront that we had to do that so he was really scrambling to remove the screens because he still hasn’t put it back on. He was there the first day so if he had known that he wouldn’t have had to hustle around the whole house by himself.

After purchased a home, I requested a estimate for painting every rooms in the house. As project nears I realized I was too ambiguous and color selection was difficult. Innovative was nice enough to accommodate my diminished scope, I ended up only paint the rooms immediately needed after move-in. They were patient enough to go through several back-and-forth with scope/price haggling. The home was 50 yrs old, and the job really made a difference. I removed old wooden shelves in closet and the result of drywall repair and paint made it brand-new. Very happy with the result. The crew were prompt and clean up after themselves. I used them before and plan to use them again, after I decided on colors for other areas of the home.

They did excellent job from start to finish. Their price was really good comparing other companies I contacted. Their time was very practical. Customer service was great. good communication. They arrived promptly when they said they would and got straight to work. They were accurate and efficient and professional. Some of the bushes and trees were blocking the siding. I wasn't sure how they will work with it. But, when I saw that they covered the bushes with a big cloths and pull off from the wall and painted those hiding places, I knew I made a right decision to hire them to paint the exteriors. I definitely used them again for the future need and refer them to my friends and family.

I carefully chose 3 top rated Angies List painters to provide bids. Innovative Inc had the fastest, clearest, most economical bid by a long shot. The office Assistant, Gabriela, was fantastic! She is responsive and accommodating. Whenever I had a question, she got an answer for me often within the same phone call or a few minutes later. The painters were very careful and professional. Excellent experience...and I am VERY particular. I would not hesitate to use their services again!

Let me start by saying that this companies responsiveness and flexibility is beyond great. I am a full-time working mother and I am not free during the week, they were actually able to come out on the weekend to preform my exterior project so that I was able to oversee the project. They did a great job pressure washing my fences, they look brand new. The two men that came also painted my shutters and my old metal gate (that no longer looks old by the way) in the front of my house. The two men were very professional and did an amazing job. I couldn't be happier.

It went very well! Innovative did a great job and finished in 2 days. We even asked them to remove some molding that we didn't notice previously (just bought the house) on the second day. They had no issue removing it, repairing the wall, and painting it. They were very responsive. Thanks for a great job!

Two painters arrived promptly--in fact were waiting outside the house prior to 8 am, ready to start. They were efficient and prepared the rooms first by laying down dropcloths, tape, cleaning and patching walls, moving furniture as needed, e.g., dresser in the bedroom and refrigerator in the kitchen. They were courteous, polite and unbelievably efficient. They completed all areas and even painted a kitchen door white with the white paint I told them I would be doing trim and doors with. The worked through lunch, one with water only and the other ate something he asked to heat in the microwave. I offered coffee, snacks but they declined. They arrived at 8 and cleaned up starting at 2. The cleanup process required an hour--washing brushes outside and vacuuming inside, replacing the towel bars in the bathroom, the electric outlet covers and the cable cover. . Everything was done in a professional manner. I will never try to paint a room myself again. When I did the bathroom two years ago I was on a ladder in the tub. It took me forever to finish the work--the better of a week but that included trim and door, plus repainting after a new cabinet was installed. All in all, I would've saved myself a lot of stress and grief if I had found this painting company earlier. What I also need to mention is that the company scheduled me for work on a specific date when my husband and I got the Norovirus, a highly contagious and pretty violent virus. Fortunately the Innovative Painting owner, a lady named Mabel Ledezma, picked up the phone on a Sunday and allowed me to reschedule, which must've cost the company money. Because of the extra miles they went, my husband and I decided to tip the painters $100, since they probably lost work. At least I hope the money was shared between the painters but if I had been thinking clearly I would have given the money to each instead of one, so there would be no misunderstanding.

Honestly, It went really great. One of my friends referred them to me and I'm glad I hired them. The two men that came, Melvin and Arnold were very professional, courteous and always on-time. They did an excellent job from start to finish. They pressure washed my house before painting and changed some rotten wood and replaced it with PVC wood. My house looks great and I can definitely say I will use them again when I do the interior and carpet/tile installation in my condo in Arlington.

The prep work was fantastic. Everything was terrific, including their receptionist! They did excellent work and gave us some really good advise. They arrived on time and listened to us, which was wonderful. The rooms came out beautifully. My neighbors came over and ended up hiring them on the spot because they were so impressed. They were true gentleman. Awesome experience!

The job went very smoothly, from start to finish. I am very pleased and will use this company again.
