Innovative's performance was just as they promised. They showed up on time the day they promised. They moved very heavy furniture and protected it and the floors with wrap and/or drop cloths. They did a very quality paint job, their cut-in joints and lines straight and clean. While prepping the walls before starting to paint, they uncovered water damage to areas on both the ceiling and one wall. After bringing it to our attention they worked around the damage until the areas were repaired, which was after the roof was repaired. They then sent a crew to repair the damage a couple of days later and then another crew to finish painting the areas a day after that. We were concerned that the repaired areas would forever be different than the original work but we need not have worried. We have additional work to be done in the Fall and are looking forward to working once again with Innovative. Recommendation? ABSOLUTELY!

Innovative Inc painters are true professionals. Their plastering repair of old lather and plaster walls is flawless. Strict attention to detail, true craftsmanship and affordability. Have recommended them over and over again.

Introspect this job really troubles me. I used Angie's list reviews which are excellent, met the estimate in the home to go over the work, work diligently to communicate on the colors and work but there were still major problems. The major problem was that I elected to paint the ceilings in the living/dining room area and the master bedroom with a Benjamin Moore color that he was to purchase under the contract. After completion, I was focused the first days on the wall color (a C2 high end paint at $68 a gallon) but noticed that the ceiling didn't look right. Initially I thought it was lighting, reflection from the walls etc. But then I realized it was white like the crown moulding. With that, I pulled the swatch and realized that the crew had used the standard white ceiling paint. Then I went to the paint containers, and could not find a Benjamin Moore container for the intended color. That confirmed they did not use the right ceiling paint. I reviewed the contract to confirm what was listed, then emailed the company. To his credit, he admitted the mistake, and would correct it. Because it was the ceiling, everything moved and packed up had to remain as is until the crew returned to redo the ceiling. So that week, they were to come on Tuesday at 8:30. Something happen with their truck and they didn't come but they didn't let me know. I called the company at 10:00. they apologized but that meant more days of waiting. Finally Friday, the crew showed and completed the work. Also, on the paint estimating and purchase, the company would only purchase the Benjamin Moore, and as I wanted to use the C2 brand. So I purchased it myself and brought home. The manager told me they would need six gallons. What I learned after the job, while doing the inventory on the remaining paint, is that they only used 2.5 gallons of the C2. I had 3.5 gallons left; I know this because I took the containers to Potomack Paints where it was purchased and had them consolidated all the paint into one container. The paint store manager suggested that they didn't realize how well C2 covers OR the crew did not do two coats. I asked for an explanation from Innovative who said that estimating paint was risky and this happens. To me, 3.5 gallons of missing the mark is too much for a experienced company. It was an expensive error for me since I paid for it, not him. There was a lot of communication issues with the crew on needing more paint and getting the job done. It was exhausting but the painting itself was well done and I told them so promptly paying my bill. I would not use them again but others might not have the problems I did. I would just say in closing that if you do, pay close attention. I thought I had and was in the house 80% of the time, and still had an draining experience.

Its looks beautiful! They suggested I put on a third coat in the living room but with no pressure and it did look better so paid a bit more for quality. They were focused on doing a high quality job and were very good at listening to what I wanted, not pushing what they wanted.

Innovative did an awesome job. They were prepared to do the bathroom, even though the light fixture needed to be removed for painting. They were fast and efficient and reasonably priced.

I would highly recommend this company, and would definitely use them again for any painting needs I might have in the future.

They workers were extremely good at prepping the space and getting the painting done. We have an old tomehome and the walls need a lot of touch up work prior to painting and it was done well, very pleased with that work. This was the second time we used Innovative and we've recommended them to other. Their prices are great and they deliver quality service. Highly recommend using them.

The two painters arrived promptly, used drop cloths, moved furniture, and got to work. They were professional and did a phenomenal job, even taking care of nail pops and patched an area stained from a prior leak, at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this company for painting.

They were amazing! I couldn't tell they were painting and sanding while I was because they cleaned up so well! The job was wonderful and they even took pity on my loud drag so she didn't have to stay in the crate. I will use them next time I need painting and will recommend them to all my friends--I have already given their name to two coworkers!

Innovative Painters, Inc was excellent to work with - from start to finish. They were fast about meeting me in person for a quote, which was the most competitive price we'd seen, and they set up an appointment immediately to meet a tight deadline we were working with. They allowed us to pick out the paint, which they went and purchased themselves (some painting companies make you provide paint and when you're dealing with 5-gallon containers that can be a challenge). The work was done in day and a half and they refused to take a dime until we were fully satisfied. They were amazing to work with and we'll definitely use Innovative Painters, Inc again.

We had the interior of our house painted by Innovative Inc. Painters. Their painters were polite and helpful, and put a lot of effort into prepping our walls. They did not stop until everything was to our satisfaction. Our walls look great!

GREAT!! Alex was professional and flexible and lead painter Pablo was excellent-I needed areas on the wall which had wall phone and a electric plug and I needed to have them eliminated and show a smooth wall; I also had a tv mounted on the wall where he had to cit into a wall and ceiling, the last owners left a wall shelf they removed for me-they did a SUPER job!!

They were punctual and very professional. Did a great job with handling nail pops, and striped walls. However, their primer paint did not work for a dark blue room and they needed 6 coats of paint because they didn't use an actual primer. Additionally, they did not take care of water stains correctly and I need to call someone else to take care of that. There was also some miscommunication about the paint in the closets.

Great job done on time. Pointed out a couple of areas for touch up and they said no problem and promptly took care of it. Can't say enough good things about their work. Even painted behind the downspouts, which some other painters were trying to talk me out of.

These guys did a very fine job. Showed up on time, painted everything, and it was done well -- not a sloppy job. I am happy with the work!

Great team. Small issue with one of the painters misunderstanding what I needed, but fixed quickly. This team also repainted my entire condo a year prior. I would highly recommend for great quality. The administrative team is very responsive!
