I hired Innovative to fix drywall and paint the interior of my entire home. I selected them initially because the company is well-rated, and because they worked with me on the price for the project. Innovative did the work I wanted on schedule and for the agreed-upon price. The crew did a great job and the walls look great. When I pointed out areas that needed to be fixed or touched up, they took care of them right away. They made an effort to clean up each day, although of course there was drywall dust everywhere (which anyone having drywall work done should expect). The crew did an amazing job moving furniture back into place each day. They even re-hung pictures on the walls. I would recommend Innovative.

Mabel and her team got back to me right away, then contacted the local Sherwin Williams to pick up the supplies and ensure I had the paint color I had agreed to with my tenants. They started the job on a Sunday when the air conditioning was broken and out for repair and finished by 4pm the next day (2000 sq ft townhouse w/ 4 stories). Their attention to detail and professionalism with my tenants was much appreciated as well as their energy to help me out as I was moving cross country on short notice. Thank you innovative painters team!

The project went well. We needed the job done by a certain date and they were able to accommodate it and finished a day early. The crews worked quickly and cleanly. One small pane of glass in the large kitchen window was broken while prepping the window, but they repaired it the second day. The only odd thing was that the estimator never mentioned a charge for painting the inside of the small closet in the foyer or the small pantry in the kitchen. I just assumed that was part of the estimate, and the estimator never asked about them. There was an extra charge to do them, which was reasonable, but would have been easier if the estimator had at least asked about them. Will use them again for other projects. They were not the cheapest, but they got the job done with a minimum of hassle.

It went great! They arrived on time and were finished by the later afternoon. They were extremely professional, covered all of the furniture, and then put everything back at the end. I am going to have them paint my living and dining rooms next. Mabel, the fantastic office manager, scheduled our living room and dining room quickly and I was having a difficult time scheduling the interior of a rental property to be completed quickly. She was able to get a team put together and had them do the entire job on a Saturday. The Living room and dining room were painted and look fantastic . The painting crew arrived on time, prepped the area, did a great job painting and left the room perfectly clean with all furniture put back. Same with the rental property. It was in bad shape and the painters came in and completely made the place look almost new again. I am scheduling some exterior painting and will never call another paining company. This is the only one I will every use!

From initial estimate process through completion of project, all went smoothly. The two painters prepped the rooms, worked neatly and cleaned up after themselves, everything went well. I have no complaints at all.

Exterior painting of my townhouse. The crew arrived on time, took appropriate measures to protect my property and worked efficiently, quickly and pleasantly. We had a slight communication problem that the company resolved quickly and appropriately. I highly recommend Innovative and will use them in the future.

My deck and fence have places where the providers completely missed staining. They used a tool to spray on the stain and did not go around all plants like they said they would. My flowers in front were killed because of it and I had to replace them. When we advised of the missed portions, the lady we spoke with wanted to charge us extra to finish the job! Not only did the workers leave without saying they were 'done', the contact person did not come back to our home to make sure we were satisfied, like they said they would.

We have used Innovative Painters on several occasions. We originally asked for a quote last fall for exterior painting and added on some interior rooms. Because it was too late in the fall for outdoor work, they painted the master bathroom, a half bath and a basement tv room and bedroom. Their prices were fair and highly competitive. The quality of the work was outstanding. Then we had a disaster - a frozen pipe burst into the freshly painted tv room - wah! Once I had the insurance adjustment, Innovative Painters came back out, repaired all the dry wall and repainted it perfectly. Finally, Spring came and we had them do the wood trim repair and painting. They found much more damaged wood than originally estimated and were able to replace all the damaged wood and painted it all perfectly. The workers always arrived on time and were very careful to put down plastic and cloth drops to protect our furniture and floors from paint. While the representative who gave me an estimate spoke good English, the workers spoke very little. I would recommend writing down the color and finish for all your paints and ensuring your household members and the workers all know it up front in case there is a question. They were very responsive to one minor color misunderstanding and repainted it just the way I wanted it without question. I expect to use Innovative Painters again in the fall to paint a few more rooms. Highly recommend Innovative Painters for quality painting at a fair price.

The painters were very careful and thorough. They finished in one day and cleaned up meticulously. They did not charge extra for the custom color. (But be very clear in communicating with the painters, preferably in writing first, if there is any question about assignment of colors to specific rooms.) We learned about Innovative, Inc. painters from an acquaintance who had interviewed 10 painting firms for her condo in Old Town Alexandria. She found Innovative to be the best, with the best prices as well.

These guys are top notch all the way. We unfortunately experienced water damage as a result of frozen pipes bursting in the units above ours. The homeowners association took responsibility for the repair and had three contractors come out and provide estimates. It did not take but one phone call to realize that the contractor selected by the HOA was incompetent, lazy and unprofessional. By the end of our conversation, he recommended that I find another contractor to do the work. THAT WAS THE BEST ADVICE HE COULD GIVE ME! I reached out to the other two contractors that provided estimates and both were unresponsive. I then went to Angie's list and found Innovative Inc. I spoke with Brenda Fuentes, who worked with me to get someone out that day to provide an estimate. By the end of the work day, I had a written estimate emailed to me that provided a clear concise statement of work to be performed. At first, I was shocked by the estimate and actually called Brenda to confirm that there was not a typo. Brenda confirmed the estimate and that the estimate included all required materials and labor to complete the job. Not only was this estimate 50% of the cost of the HOA approved contractor, but it included painting of the entire ceiling whereas the approved contractor was only doing spot painting. Since Innovative Inc. already had an A rating on Angie's list, I accepted the estimate and Brenda worked with me to schedule a date for the work. The Innovative team showed up promptly at 8AM and reviewed with me the work that they were going to perform. They shocked me once again when they said that they would complete the job by the end of the day. The HOA approved contractor was going to take 3-4 days based on his proposal. I was skeptical and informed the project manager that the quality of the work was more important to me then the time that it was going to take. He reassured me that I would not be able to tell that the ceiling and walls had ever been repaired by the time they were done. He then confirmed the paint color name and brand that I provided previously. In retrospect, I should have paid closer attention to this detail as I will discuss later. By the time I was ready to walk out the door and leave them to complete the job, they had already placed plastic wrap around the furniture and dropcloths on the floor. I had ask that they call me about 1 hour before they would be done to allow me enough time to get there from work. Brenda gave me a call at 4:00PM and said that the guys would be done by about 5:30. When I walked in at about 5:15 the team was just finishing up cleaning. The first thing I looked for was the drywall repair, could I see seams since the ceiling was a smooth finish. To my delight, nothing, there was not one trace of the repair. They did a fantastic job including one of the wall corners that had a smooth rounded 135 degree seam. I could not tell that there was a repair done. My attention then turned to the paint as I checked to make sure that they had properly masked around the cabinets, trim and light fixtures. It all looked great, a very professional job. In fact, I was so impressed, I almost missed that the paint color was off. As it turns out, the guys did get the correct brand and color, by name, but the formula was different. Fortunately for me, I did provide the exact paint formula that should have been used and after a short discussion with Brenda the following day, Innovative Inc agreed to come back out and repaint at their cost. We scheduled another date for the repaint effort and once again the team showed up promptly at 8AM and completed the painting effort in about 3 hours. Even though this was at their cost they did not take any shortcuts. The paint job was perfect and they left the place spotless. Even given the hiccup with the paint color, these guys are a class act. I am truly impressed with their professionalism and quality of work that extended from my initial contact right up through confirmation of receipt of my payment. I would not hesitate to recommend Innovative Inc. for drywall repair and painting.

We were very satisfied with the consistent, high-quality workmanship from Innovative, particularly with the dry wall and taping jobs. The estimator provided some thoughtful insights on the approach. The workers were always punctual, courteous, and professional. Worksites were cleaned up promptly at the end of each work day. There was one minor problem with one of the jobs. I called Innovative about the problem, and they returned the next morning and took care of it. Their pricing was a little higher than some other estimates, but it was worth the difference to get this level of professionalism and high quality workmanship.

The guys were on time, courteous, thorough, and tidy. Great job and reasonably priced!

The provider refused to provide the service.

The painters arrived promptly, we polite and courteous, removed their shoes and went to work. I was skeptical that anyone could remove and smooth the walls and ceiling, but the room looks new now. The ceiling is smooth, the walls are smooth, and the paint was applied cleanly with exact detail at the edges.They cleaned up so well, you would never have known they were there.

I have been meaning to write a review on Innovative for the last year. They were professional and did a very thorough job. My husband was a bit reluctant to pay for painting initially and he too is very pleased with the outcome. The Innovative crew took such good care of covering our belongings with plastic, moving things out of the way with care, and taping the walls before they painted - they were meticulous! I have recommended them to friends and am doing so again today!

Innovative did a great job. We took three bids, and they were very competitive. The workers came every day, cleaned up after themselves every day, and were completely professional in appearance and conduct. The work was thorough and we can't find any mistakes even after months.

Everything went very well. The firm is easy to work with and they are most happy to provide you with guidance on colors and finish.

Innovative was incredibly professional from start to finish. They did a beautiful job and went beyond my expectations, stripping layers of paint off every window, bringing back the beauty of my historic home. They did a beautiful job painting the façade as well, but their work restoring the windows was a complete surprise. I had estimates from window restoration contractors who wanted almost $2,000 per window. While Innovate didn't fully restore my windows, they cleaned them up so nicely that they look almost new, despite being over 100 years old. Would highly recommend this contractor.

This is the second time I've used Innovative. They are quite impressive. Response to my inquiry was immediate -- as were responses to questions. This was a two-day undertaking, and the crew was extraordinarily professional, experienced, efficient, with attention devoted to even the smallest details. They quickly addressed covering and protecting all surfaces and possessions in my home. They left my home in even cleaner condition than when they began this task. I would definitely retain the services of Innovative in the future; in fact, it is unlikely I would entertain using any other firm for painting. And it was a true pleasure dealing with the management of the company. I think Mabel and Alex exemplify excellent management in the industry.

We had a great experience with Innovative Painters and will hire them again in the future. They responded to my online request for an estimate almost immediately. They were great at communicating via email and phone. Innovative was flexible with adjusting the scope of my project beyond what was discussed at the site visit and their pricing was very reasonable. They arrived on time (30 minutes early actually) and executed the job very well. The quality of the workmanship and onsite color matching was perfect. They maintained a clean work site and completed the project in exactly the time frame they had identified at the time of the estimate. We will use Innovative Painters again and recommend them to our friends.
