They pulled up at my house early, just as I arrived home. It was serendipity. They looked at what I needed to discard, I turned around and they already had the chair by the truck. They went upstairs and took the mattress, which was extremely heavy, and then they took the box springs. They were cheerful, helpful, and efficient. The price was reasonable, and I felt they were trustworthy, which is especially important to me. I would suggest everyone use them!

They showed up on time, were friendly and professional and hauled away everything I asked them to. They filled the truck up as high as they could, unlike other services I have used in the past that leave empty room at the top. I bought an Angie's List Deal and paid for an additional 1/4 truck.

They were punctual, professional, and very helpful. Definitely worth the money to remove the debris!

Innovative was able to complete the work in one day and everything looks better than I could have expected. The difficulty of this job was somewhat significant due to the more intricate nature of the exterior areas that required paint. Innovative properly prepped before painting and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of the day. I will continue to recommend Innovative's services to neighbors and friends.

They did a great job. The bedroom had one darker accent wall, one shade lighter on the other three walls, and window and closet trim with the lightest color. They also painted the ceiling and walls in the bathroom. Everything looked very good and they left the place very clean.

We had a terrific experience working with Innovative Inc. We recently purchased a new condo that had builder-grade colors. We wanted to add custom colors to three rooms. After searching highly rated painters on Angie's List, we decided to call Innovative Inc. to schedule an estimate. This was a Sunday night. Expecting to leave a message on an answering machine - the phone was picked up! We scheduled our estimate for the following weekend. Alex (the owner) personally showed up on time to give us the estimate. He explained how they sanded, taped, covered floors and cabinets, removed plates, etc. We had previously chosen colors from Pittsburgh Paints. Although Alex was willing to work with those - he said he could get us a better deal by color matching with Sherwin Williams. We were fine with that. Over the next week, Alex kept us informed of his schedule - keeping in mind our schedule. We spoke over cell, email and text. When we scheduled a firm date, the paint crew came in and finished everything in a single day! The color matching was perfect. They even left us some paint from each color for future touch-up and the place was perfectly clean. All in all, a terrific experience!

The job went very well, just as promised. Innovative provided an estimate and scheduled this job on short notice to help us get ready for company and did a high quality job. They responded to my questions and special requests (e.g., new switch and socket plates), kept things neat and clean, and even took down some old blinds. In addition to pressure washing the siding and gutters, they also did the porch/stoop which looks much better.

I received a few estimates for the listed work and Innovative Inc came in with one other estimate as both being very competitive. I choose Innovative Inc because of their lengthy list of good ratings on Angie's List. We have a split level entry house. The work was done on the upstairs main living area, as well as foyer and leading down to the bottom level. There was a small bulge in my ceiling drywall, likely from accidentally pushing down on it when walking in the unfinished attic. They re-attached the drywall to the attic floorboard where is was possible and blended in the drywall with tape and joint compound. They then repainted the entire ceiling white. They also repaired any other imperfections found in the ceiling (and walls), as well as touching up the crown moulding and doors. Next they painted all of the walls on the main level and 2 story foyer. The work was done over the course of 1 and a half business days. We were very pleased with the responsiveness when dealing with this company. They were able to schedule us shortly after choosing them for the project. We have been very pleased with the outcome of the job they performed. They even left us with some of the leftover paint for the ceiling and walls so we can perform any necessary touch-ups.

I don't normally review providers that I don't choose to work with, but I wasn't pleased with Innovative on several levels. They listed a deal for "$790 for a Complete Deck Pressure Washing and Stain Including Materials" for a deck up to 400 square feet (according to the Angie's List member who built my deck one year ago, mine should be just under that). When I came across the deal, I called and asked Innovative if they would come out and confirm that my deck would be covered, and they said that they would send someone by while I was at work (so far, so good). When more than two weeks had passed without any follow-up, I called them back on a Tuesday and they said they'd look into the status of my "estimate." When I still hadn't heard anything by Friday, I called them again, and they sent me an "estimate based on the deal" that afternoon. At this point I wasn't thrilled that the process of getting an initial assessment had taken three weeks and required repeated follow-up on my part, but they were polite and apologetic about the delay so I was still willing to consider working with them. After all, most of us are busy. When I received the "estimate based on the deal," it included $1,060 for labor and an additional $290 for the stain, so I emailed them to ask why it had come out to be more than the offered deal. Was it the stairs (which would be an understandable extra to me, as I do have quite a few steps) or something else? And why was the stain itself now listed as an additional cost? They were estimating five gallons for my deck, and if this was somehow more than what was supposedly included in the deal, they could have told me that. While they did answer my one question about whether the deck posts were included in the quoted price, they didn't have an answer about the additional costs- they just repeated that it was "an estimate based on the deal." I emailed back to ask specifically about the cost of the stain, which was listed as included in the title of the deal itself, and they never bothered to email me back. I hate to leave a negative review, especially for a place that has so many apparently satisfied customers, and I wouldn't have done so if they'd bothered to explain the discrepancy. However, at this point I'm left feeling like they wasted my time and the deal was a bit of a "bait and switch." Since it's been five days without them bothering to respond to my last email (which contained specific questions about their estimate), at this point a review is warranted.

This is the second time I have used Innovative Painters to perform work at my house. It took them less than a day to complete the work and the finished product looks amazing. They provided me with a very reasonable estimate and were able to start the job quickly. I recommend Innovative Painters to anyone looking for a beautiful, professional paint job at a reasonable price.

Let me premise this with I am a consumer who loves to get a great deal which involves good value at the best possible price. Some would argue I am obsessed with getting the best deal or I experience substantial buyers remorse. With that being said I vet all my contractors/service providers thoroughly. Alex the Owner came out to provide an estimate and was extremely polite, professional, and an expert at detailing what he saw needed to be done. Alex was much more thorough than the other 3 estimates I received. Basically explained that they could just repaint the walls but because of the previous owners poor painting job the ceilings would not have a straight line. His estimate was lower than the other 3 I had quoted and included more work (crown molding install & painting, ceilings in all rooms, and power-washing). Alex even agreed to have his crew come out after the job was done to do touch ups for after I had carpet installed. When the painting crew came out they were on time and professional. They made sure to cover everything with plastic and properly tape all edges. The crew worked work 4 days and literally transformed the interior of my house. They spent the entire first day performing extensive drywall repair (sanding, filling, patching, prepping). Days 2, 3, and 4 were the ceilings, walls, and trim work. At the end of day 4 the place looked and felt like a new house. I am literally writing this review while the post move-in and carpet install painting is being performed. They are literally touching up wall blemishes I am totally at fault for as well as dings in the trim work the carpet installers made. All in all Innovative Inc is a super legitimate company that delivers excellent work. I am already planning/budgeting to hire them to repaint the exterior of my townhouse and I can't wait to see that transformation.

Following great reviews on Angies List, we hired Innovative Inc. to paint our part of our home last year. They did such an excellent job, we hired them again to paint our basement this year. This included removing our textured ceiling in the hallway and the living room, and removing the paint from our brick fireplace. Their work was again excellent. The team showed up on time each day and paid great attention to detail. They patched some minor dry wall holes and were honest and upfront about the brickwork cost and potential. They told us that they were not sure if they could remove the paint since the brick was porous and the pain was most likely soaked through. They tried several methods and waited for our feedback before continuing. Alex told us that they this was expensive. He knew we were returning customers and he did not want to disappoint - and he didn't. We have now asked them for an exterior estimate and highly recommend their service.

I cannot rave enough about Innovative for its drywall work! The crew that performed the work was prompt, professional, and hardworking. Even though we had a miscommunication about the day the work was to be performed (I think this was my error!) they worked it out so they could come when I needed them to, put in a ten-hour day, and left me with a beautifully finished new wall. And they cleaned up thoroughly, so there was hardly any dust remaining! All this, and their price was substantially less than two other quotes we received. I would definitely use them again in the future and am recommending them to friends and neighbors.

Outstanding work! Innovative Painters very much exceeded our expectations. We live in an older townhouse, built in 1941. The paint, walls, ceilings, and trim in all three of our bedrooms were in terrible shape -- cracking, pealing, and falling apart. We had done a little bit of finishing work over the past couple of years ourselves with mostly mixed results. The ceiling was particularly bad -- laced with cracks, pealing, and wavy. We'd finally decided that we'd had enough and decided to call upon professionals. We used Angie's List to narrow down our list of potential contractors to three, and had estimates done. Innovative came out as the most competitive. The Innovative crew was great -- professional, always right on-time, polite, and VERY respectful of our place (left the entire upstairs cleaner than they found it)! The work took about two and a half days, start to finish. Our contract specified two coats of Sherwin Williams paint throughout. They ended up putting four coats of yellow in one bedroom that had been particularly dark at no extra charge. Awesome!! Saving the best for last, we found out that we were pregnant shortly after scheduling the painting work. My wife had a last-minute out of town trip come up, and Innovative shifted their schedule with only a few days notice to knock out the job while she was gone. I really can't recommend these guys highly enough. I've found that it's pretty tough to find such great contractors that are so easy to work with in the DC area. No question that we'll call upon them again in the future!

This was the second painting job Innovative did for me.the first was to paint my living room ,dining room and upstairs hallway -- walls and ceilings. The painters are professional, courteous and very competent. Everything is done carefully, ever face that needs to be is covered. All I had to do was tops of any furniture that needed to be moved, or for the first project, any surfaces that would need to be painted like built in bookcases. They did a great job protecting my furniture and carpets, a superior job painting and retiring problem areas on the walls. If you want a well done, careful, professional paint job done, this is a great company to use. Their prices are fair and reasonable too. I got three quotes for my first job and didn't bother getting any extra for the second job.

Everything about the service was great. They immediately to my communications and scheduled and completed the work very quickly. They installers were very efficient.

Pleased with the work and would use this company again. They worked with our schedule, showed up on time and completed the work efficiently and neatly.

We were extremely pleased with Innovative! After interviewing 4 or 5 painting companies, we decided to go with Innovative and they didn't disappoint. Their quote was very competitive and Alex (co-owner) was very upfront about expectations. Mabel (co-owner) was very responsive with respect to scheduling and addressing any concerns we had along the way. Their crew was very punctual, paid attention to detail, and did a great job of prepping and painting. We will definitely be using Innovative again and would highly recommend them for any exterior painting projects.

I want to note that immediately following the painting being done I thought - wow this is great and the deal was worth it and worth the wait (took about a month between buying and job) but after that I noticed one item that really changed my opinion and that's why I've marked them with a B rather than an A. First, for the cost of the deal I am pleased with the amount of rooms that got painted and the efficiency of the painters overall. The painting was neat and done well. That said, the bigger issue is with the clean up and disposal of paint improperly and without checking with me. One of the rooms I had painted was the master bathroom; given this the following morning I choose to use the second bathroom where no painting had been done. Unfortunately, I found remnants of green paint (color they painted another room) in my bathtub and on some of the tiles. My guess is that they used this bathroom to wash brushes, buckets, etc., which is not and was not ok. I understand painting at a condo sometimes can be challenging for clean up and actually was surprised when they finished and wasn't asked about clean up/disposal but I figured they must have seen the hose outside or had another system for cleaning. Clearly they didn't and what really bothers me is that I took the day off of work so I was there for questions and no one inquired as to where they could do this - really simple fix just ask me. Much like many houses; my condo does have hoses outside and an area where they could have rinsed items out outside rather than in my bathtub. I also feel like it's pretty lucky that I was using the other bathroom so I could clean it out and razor off paint because otherwise it may not have been noticed until weeks later when it would be harder to remove. I wanted to note this because perhaps this is how they ALWAYS do it and if so I feel like folks should know and be vigilant about it since I can't imagine others wanting paint remnants in their tubs or clogging drains. That said, the painting job was good and I didn't have any complaints until this so int he future I would use them but I would make sure to make that clear when they arrived and check before they actually left as opposed to just checking the paint job.

Innovative Painters did a fantastic job. There were a couple of weather delays, but other than that, they were punctual, worked quickly, and left us with a great paint job. Our neighbors are impressed!

I was very pleased from start to finish. They arrived promptly, kept me informed on the progress of the work (with rational discussion and follow up email when rain intervened) and cleaned up thoroughly. They were careful to ensure all the windows were free of paint, and fully functioning. The house looks great and I am quite pleased. Mabel, the office manager, was great to work with and it was very helpful to be able to communicate via email.

They worked with me and protected my new Treks decking on the top deck. The jobs done over two days because of the power washing and then the stain but both days they were done in half a day and everything looked really great. I would definitely use them again! Thanks guys!
