Description of Work: I wanted to get my locks re-keyed in my house. When the company came out to re-key the locks, they couldn't perform the job, because the locks were some type of smart re-key locks that can be done by anyone, therefore no service was performed.

Description of Work: I had keys made for the garage. As too often happens, the price ended up being more than the Angie's List deal stated. (Service charge was added, etc.) The gentleman was professional and efficient. He could not complete the work because the garage doors had become un-aligned (Fixing that was not part of the deal). However, once I had that done by someone else, the keys work. I'm not sure of final price, so gave guestimate. ALL charges should be stated in these "deals". All grades above (B's instead of A's)reflect the on-site price change, not the quality of the work the young man performed.

Description of Work: I purchased a DEAL on Angie's List for a discounted visit from this company. I asked the rep who made the appointment what they would charge to rekey two gate locks outside my home. She said $22 per lock. I made an appointment. The day before the appointment, a locksmith called to say he would be at my house in an hour. I told him my appointment was for the next day. (I don't think this was my mistake since I was planning it for a day I had other service providers coming to my house.). They agreed to come the next day...the day I thought I had scheduled. On that day, I told the locksmith I wanted the two locks keyed alike. He was pleasant and agreed. Only at the end of the visit did I find out that a deadbolt with keys on both sides counted as two locks. So $44 per deadbolt, $88 for two deadbolts. Granted, I did not ask the right question at the right moment. But $88? for that I would have done better to go to lowes and buy new locks. So I would not use this company again. Instead I will go back to Angie's list, find another locksmith and try to ask the right questions at the right moment.

Description of Work: We called the locksmith on a Friday night to help out our neighbors who was locked out on their deck. They said they would be there in 30 minutes and they were exactly there on time! The locksmith was very professional and worked tirelessly to pick (not destroy) the deadbolt and the door knob locks. He got the deadbolt fairly quickly but the door knob took about 20 minutes (reassuring for the sake of the owners!) The owners asked to have us be the ones to enter the house to let them in and they settled the bill at the front door. Overall a great experience and for an emergency call, they were fast and great! We will definitely recommend them in the future and will use them should we need their services for ourselves.

Description of Work: Replaced doorknobs and rekeyed keys. Also did a minor adjustment on a latch which did not work on another door that he did not charge me for.

Description of Work: I had an emergency. My front face of my door lock came off in the morning as I was departing for work. I researched the company on Angie's list and called them. They came and fixed the lock.
