We are very proud to have won the Angieslist Super Service Award three years in a row. Serving all of Northern Virginia from Stafford to Leesburg to include Washington DC and local Maryland areas. Our highly trained technicians are licensed to service and installation of all types of locks, safes, keys, alarm installation, access control, camera's, CCTV, high security locks. We have been providing all types of physical security of our clients since 1985. Eastern Safe & Lock was instrumental in writing and passing Virginia’s first locksmith license in 2008. This license requires all locksmith companies to be licensed and each technician to be register with the Department of Criminal Justice Services. Each Locksmith has to pass a background check and be fingerprinted by DCJS. Check out Angie's List to find out about the phony unlicensed scammer locksmiths that quote silly low prices like 15.00 or 19.00, they show up in unmarked cars, use a very old con called bait and switch, quote really low to get the job then charge hundreds of dollar more than they should when they get to your home or office. We provide free written estimate. We have been in business for to many years to pressure you to use our services. We will never demand you pay with cash. Description of Work: They showed up on the wrong day (before we even owned the house), which did not make the sellers happy. The whole process was very time-consuming. The employee kept disappearing to his van and was on his phone a lot. I understand having other jobs, but it seemed to make the whole process take a long longer than it should have.

Description of Work: Eastern replaced door lock and deadbolt on front door and rekeyed so both locks use same key. Easter performed the work quickly and did a good job. The cost was very high since I also bought the $75 worth of service for $35 and they completed the job in an hour. I was surprised since the reviews for similar work seemed reasonable. Very disappointing!

When the customer decides to add new replacement locks to the order the cost of the work is going to go up. Quotes for additional hardware are always quoted before the work is done. Customers have the choice to replace the locks with new ones or keep the old locks on the door.

Description of Work: They re-keyed three of our locks and cut us a few keys. The gentleman showed up on-time, did great work, was polite and friendly, and quick! No muss, no fuss, and no mess! We've used them once before and would use them again in the future.

Description of Work: Re keyed the dead bolt locks on the house that we purchased. Rekeyed 4 locks. Keyed them all the same as we asked. Had to come a second day because they did not have the particular lock the garage. We are happy with locks they work wonderfully. We were only slightly disappointed at the price and the punctuality of the service person.
