After taking the lock apart and determining it was faulty and not repairable, Tim (technician) informed us that Baldwin locks carried a lifetime warranty. He searched for and found the lock model identification along with the phone number for Baldwin. We called and I was told the new part would be sent by UPS the next day. Tim said to let him know when I received the part - he would return and install it. I did and he did - all within 5 days start to finish. (No additional travel charge for return visit.)

They arrived on time and did the job properly. They ordered a part for me that they didn't have which took 2 trips and I was very satisfied with them.

The technician was excellent. Listened to what I needed. Fixed everything quickly and showed me for each what he did and had me test the fixes out to ensure I was happy. He gave me some good tips for maintenance and was in and out in less than an hour. I was very happy and I am VERY picky. Price was also very reasonable and I used an Angie's list coupon. Would definitely use again.

The dead bolt still doesn't lock from the outside and I called but no response. I THEN found out my check had bounced. They never told me. I was looking at my bank statement and realized. I felt awful but a payment had been taken out that I had forgotten about which is totally on me. I didn't pursue because I felt so bad. The check did go through immediately after but it is still not my way of doing business. I would still like my dead bolt to actually work so would like them to actually do what they were supposed to. I would appreciate your help with this.

Very good. Told me about the Angie's List deal when I called and suggested purchasing it and then calling back. Purchased, called back, scheduled and had service provided and finished all within a couple of hours. Was very pleased with responsiveness and the cost with the deal. There were not any additional "hidden" fees either after purchasing the deal and having the service done even though it was a little more complicated and time consuming than I think they anticipated.

There were a couple hiccups with scheduling, but the contractor was on time and got straight to work. He was very professional and friendly. In the process he accidentally broke off a piece of my doorknob, and ended up replacing the entire thing for free.

The service went great. The technician arrived a little outside of the expected window, but worked quickly. The locks work perfectly, as do all of the extra keys we requested. As a bonus: he was very pleasant to work with!!

It went very well, the technician was on time and he rekeyed 6 locks instead of 2. I paid an additional $50 and I am very pleased.

They were outstanding. The guy said, a lot of times they won't do it if you don't buy from them. They were wonderful. They were prompt. I said to the guy, I need you to install a dead bolt to this metal door and he went absolutely. They were fast, I was thrilled and as a matter of fact, I would go back there in a heartbeat. They were really good. It was a fairly complicated lock to install. I said to him, do you do locks for windows? Because I want to secure my house. He said, we do all kinds of safety proofing. If you want me to come out another time and give you an estimate, I'd be glad to do that for free. I cannot say how wonderful this guy is. I wasn't even home because he came early and my son was home. I said, I'm so sorry. It's on me, I came early just on the chance you'd be home. I have an adult son here and he said, here's the locks. One was brass and one was chrome and he knew exactly where to put which ones. It was just amazing. I love this place. Without a doubt, I will consider using them again.

They identified the issue but couldn't order the part, so I ordered it directly from the vendor.

They tried to correct the error when they made one. No complaints. This was an rental, and I had to get it from the person they service. No complaints from it. They were professional.

Purchased a mailbox lock replacement service from this site thinking I would have a punctual contractor come and drill out the lock. Instead the contractor came 45 minutes late, used a crow bar to open my mailbox (damaging both my mailbox and my neighbors mailbox), took 1/2 an hour to find a suitable lock in his van and then had the nerve to tell me I was lucky anyone responded to my call despite making an appointment the week before. In fact, when the contractor was already approaching 20 minutes late, I called Eastern Lock and apparently they didn't schedule someone to come at the time I specified despite being told when I made the appointment that the contractor would be punctual. The price was good with the Angie's List coupon, but the contractor didn't agree with the price I had paid for the service and made me wait an additional 10 minutes while he sorted things out with Eastern Lock. Tried to guilt me into feeling bad for him that I paid a cheaper price by buying the service in advance online. Would not recommend this company, find someone more reputable to do service on your locks.

Our technician, Mark, was excellent. He surveyed the situation and explained very clearly what he observed. He also patiently and thoroughly explained how the door, frame, and lock worked as a system. Mark provided us options for him doing the work, and he also offered us tips, should we choose to do it ourselves (it turned out to be a pretty simple fix). There was zero pressure or hard sell. And on top of all that, he even made a couple of minor adjustments to hold us over until we could get everything done. When all was said and done, he wrote up the call as an estimate. We couldn't even get him to take a cup of coffee. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would absolutely recommend Eastern Safe & Lock, and Mark, in particular. They have definitely earned our business for any security needs.

The service provider (who I am not forgetting his name and I regret) was great. Fast service, very informative, and professional. Would certainly use again if given the opportunity.
